I love early Frontier's unique twang to the music like the first 2 Ravis and the Great forest so much but holy jesus berserk is incredible the transition to phase 4 and the sudden shift of tone from "big snake hehe, don't get eaten" to "YOUR EXTINCTION IS NIGH" hits so much harder than the (still god tier) crazy throat singing stuff and great forest motifs and that Violent has

Monster Hunter from here on out is going to be insane with the new mobility and agility changes. Cannot wait for it.

And it is also the easiest MH ever. You can dodge anything with magical spiderman web and you can Ride a monster out of the blue, like it is nothing. Rise looks like MH for Dummies, and believe me, if you play that pathetic game after playing Iceborne, you will notice that. 24 Million copies for World. Best seller of all time for Capcom. Total Flop = Rise. Compared to World, it sold like s***t. Not even 20%.

I’ve been hooked on this for over a week. Best mix of MH themes I’ve heard to date! On tip for other listeners, I highly recommend and don’t recommend listening to these while driving. Makes you feel more badass but then you realize you’ve been going 100mph so yeah >_>
Man I wish Capcom would make something like Frontier for the worldwide audience. Monster Hunter:Legends, when you hunt monster that are pretty much mythical creatures in the monster hunter universe itself.

Pretty much any music post G7 and some in G6 update is Takatsugu Wakabayashi works, anything before that is Hideyuki Fukasawa. Both of them don't work on the mainline except for Fukasawa composed like one or two songs on 2nd gen like the tower theme in Freedom Unite. Edit: Forgot to say it, but Berserk is Wakabayashi's, while normal and Violent are Fukasawa's.

Does Raviente have 2 spellings of his name or is only Berserk spelled "Laviente"? I know that Japanese pronounce r's and l's very similar but I'm not sure if it has to do with that or Beserk legit has a different name.
It’s a translation thing, yes. It can be translated as either Raviente or Laviente because the Japanese alphabets (Hiragana/Katakana) outright doesn’t contain L but phonetically treats R’s similarly to L’s at times.
All of the different forms of Laviente are simply him in varying levels of hunger. Regular Laviente is somewhat hungry. Violet Laviente is extremely hungry. Berserk Laviente is on the verge of starvation. That's why I prefer the name "Raviente" - because he's *ravenous.*

However if a raviente doesn't eat for a long period, it'll become a violent raviente meaning it's stronger and more likely to get its next kill... Beserk however is considered such a high threat by the guild that they order hunters to kill it the moment it wakes up before it can reach the surface.
Buz Buz maybe wanna elaborate how a serpent the size of a mountain able to carve them with a single that also has the eternal flame or heavenly flame (don’t remember which it was) to which he can call down meteors to rain down on his enemies and increase his body temperature tenfold as well as having a shot gun breathe attack that is pretty destructive along with claws vs a dragon with none of those things just thicker in girth and has razor tusk that can piece through the ground I’m denying it wouldn’t be a close fight since Raviente does specialize in using those tusk for piercing as well as surprise attacks but unless they’re fighting on Ravientes turf I don’t really see how he’s winning this worse if it was a Shah Dalamadur who has more HP and is just stronger all round

Buz Buz yea I noticed that just looked up his fight as well and I’d say it’d be pretty close but the win would still have to go to Dalamadur in a close fight yes but in terms of just raw power Dalamadur take it sure it terms of being large laviente wins by far and he does have defensive techniques that stop Dalamadur form wanting to coil around it if it was gonna go for that approach but I feel he’s gonna win mostly because of that breathe attack his meteor attack as well the fact again that he still has claws Dalamadur just has more offensive kit against Raviente now if he was to paralysis him which I doubt would happen and even if it did he has a lot more HP and is a lot tougher the only thing I would say would give Laviente leverage is it’s Brachy explosives and maybe that sleep agent j think it is that it calls down from the ceiling of the cave that could possibly put him to sleep or slow his movements but other than that Dalamadur wins
