@@Hazearil IKR? These are creatures capable of human-like intelligence and who spent countless years yearning to be with each other. You can even see them seemingly chat excitedly with each other when they first meet. This was not a Seltas queen situation. These two might have been the last of their species. Ibushi sacrificed himself for his wife and his kids. The braindead people screaming "simp" like it won't be horribly outdated in 5 years the way rage comics are now will feel really goddamn stupid once they turn 15.
@@General_C If you still think rage comics are still funny in Year Of Our Lord 2022, you're exactly the sort of person I was talking about. (The occasional Wojak is acceptable, but I feel will still be outdated in the near future.)
The fact an elder dragon or magnamalo joins you mid quest was so hype, i mean, you are so used to see other human hunters join you with a hunter call, except this time something like that happened and it was an elder dragon. And not just that they consider this such a threat to themselves they feel obliged to fight alongside you. If this can happen in front of ones eyes, outside of riders history, imagine how chaotic and awesome other places can be, where there are elders or other apex predator monsters fighting for territory and dominion. Pretty sure if techonolgy made it possible, we could see somthing like this when fighting with shagaru, except shagaru is so dangerous cuz of apex virus.
Who says monsters have no honor? It was even more especially so when Malzeno aids you in Master Rank fight. I helped it with Giasmagorm and it helped me Narwa.
Since the frenzy was such a threat in MH4, I thought it would have been sick for Gore and Malzeno to constantly be fighting each other for territory. Then when you fought Gaismagorm, Shagaru could have come to help you kill him like the flood helped Chief stop the covenant in Halo 3. That would have been epic.
since is canon that these dragons speak throuth the twins i imagine them in the village singing omminously while this fight happens.. with glowing eyes and everything.. pretty eerie
It still gives me goosebumps all over every time I listen to their songs. It makes you wonder how ancient Kamura is because if they have always sung for the hunters, maybe that tradition is passed on because of Ibushi and Narwa. Its super eerie but at the same time its also beautiful, its like they needed humans (and wyverians) to help them. Malzeno did do a little twist on that idea as well in sunbreak.
Beating Allmother with the long sword you get from Fugen is a different feeling entirely, especially with Rise's godlike proof of a hero rendition. Truly make me feel like anime and that is what makes rise probably my favorite monster hunter
"Where is my queen? Where is my queen? I am storm incarnate, i sha'll whipe the land clean! So we may meet at last, in paradise unseen!" *the breath of ire, wind serpent ibushi.* "My king, o my king..come fourth with haste. With my elegant lightning, let us lay this land to waste. Tear apart the skies, rend the clouds asunder. Pace the road to paradise, with hurricane and thunder." *the lady of lightning, thunder serpent narwa.* "Divine beasts, with grace replete. Finally, the twain sha'll meet." "My queen, my queen, smite the earth with your thunder!" "My king, my king, let storm tear the clouds asunder." "With hurricane and thunder, we sear and slice. "For we are architects of true paradise." "Let us form our final bond, to rule the world and all beyond." *the source of the rampage, ibushi and narwa.*
These three songs show just how much love and attention to detail the devs paid to this game’s music. You can clearly only hear one vocalist in Ibushi’s theme and a different one in Narwa’s, but during Allmother Narwa, the two join together for one epic song. The music reflects these two monsters coming together for one final showdown. Not only that, and this is purely speculation because I haven’t done this research yet , the vocalist for Ibushi sounds like the vocalist for the Kamura theme, which is where Hinoa, who resonates with Ibushi, is located. The same is true with the vocalist for Narwa and the Gathering Hub theme, which is of course where Minoto, who resonates with Narwa, is located. Hinoa and Minoto even sing their respective location songs in the Rise title screen. I’m wondering if that’s an implication that Hinoa and Minoto are the ones singing this song, but it shows the connection between Hinoa and Minoto and Ibushi and Narwa perfectly as is. The composers didn’t need to go this hard when making this music, but they did, and I personally wouldn’t have it any other way. No other song gives me goosebumps like this one does.
I know it's a bit late, but you're indeed correct. Izumi Kato does the vocals in "Kamura's Song of Purification", Hinoa's song, and "Breath of Ire", Ibushi's theme. While Kanae Miyazaki's vocals are showcased in "Brave Hunters", Minoto's song, and "Lady of Lightning", Narwa's theme. I'm having a hard time finding the full credits of the extra tracks album, where "The Allmother" was featured, but just by the similarities in the vocals and, as you said, thematic coherence, I wouldn't doubt is the same two vocalists in this theme.
You know, it goes even more far than what you are saying. If you listen closley, the allmother chorus is basically just the narwa chorus and the ibushi chorus played at the same time…
This was definitely the best part about Rise. It was an INCREDIBLE boss fight, extremely memorable and fun. I really enjoyed going through Narwa by myself.
The rearrengement of Proof of a Hero in Rise is just something i'll never shake off me. I'm used to the theme playing during huge moments in MH games and it's always something that sends shivers of pleasure down my spine, but when it hits here in this fight, in the rearranged version it is just something else
This became my new number one final boss fight in this franchise. Everything feels like the final episode of an anime's last ever season to me, and the climax is jawdropping!
Having fought both, I have to say allmother narwa is just a taaaaaaad more cinematic (don’t get my wrong I love both I’m just partial to floaty sky dragons)
That moment when you realize All Ibushi and Narwa wanted to do was make a safe place for their young, and when Narwa becomes the Allmother she is not only fighting for her own life, but to ensure the survival of her offspring and to avenge Ibushi

"Bathe the land in lightning, and bring about the end." "Usher in the end of all life, rebirth it through furious thunder." "Destroy all, that life may spring anew from its ashes." "Annihilate this world that it may begin anew." "After Wind Serpent Ibushi is repelled in the Red Stronghold, it seemed that the Rampage was finally over, but one unanswered question remained... "Who was his queen?"" "Not long after Wind Serpent Ibushi is repelled, a particularly large Rakna-Kadaki suddenly appears in the Lava Caverns, and Minoto begins to act strange. It is soon discovered that another Rampage seemed to be coming, not from Wind Serpent Ibushi but rather his mate. Like her sister, Minoto had resonated with an elder dragon, and this elder dragon is known as Thunder Serpent Narwa, the Thunder God Dragon." "Identified by her two magnificent horns and yellow shell, Thunder Serpent Narwa is the female counterpart of Wind Serpent Ibushi. While he controls the wind and air, she controls thunder and lightning. This female elder dragon's exact habitat range is unknown, but she has long been a part of the region's history." "Before humans populated the Shrine Ruins, there were numerous monster species (Arzuros, Izuchi, Aknosom, Bishaten, Zinogre, Mizutsune, Almudron) living in that unspoiled land. One of the other inhabitants, who was unseen, was Thunder Serpent Narwa (Likely not the story one). This particular Thunder Serpent Narwa had long been dormant in the area for some time. When she eventually woke up, her thunderous presence scared away all the monsters that lived within the Shrine Ruins, making it possible for humans to inhabit the land. Decades later, Wind Serpent Ibushi's gales brought those monsters back to the Shine Ruins, ravaging the land that the humans had cultivated for years." "Thunder Serpent Narwa's overall body frame, shape, and characteristics are the same as Wind Serpent Ibushi's, but there are some differences between the two." Much like Ibushi, Narwa has thick, highly elastic skin covering much of her body, but, unlike Ibushi, her skin is well insulated, and this is due to the large amounts of electricity that flows throughout her body. While Ibushi uses the special gas produced in his "windsacs" for flight, Narwa uses the electric currents produced in her "thundersacs" for flight." "Narwa has seven thundersacs on her body that she uses to generate and store electricity (One on her head, one on both forelimbs, one on her tail, one on her abdomen, one on her back, and one on her chest). The electricity generated and stored within her thundersacs also produces a powerful magnetic field that allows Narwa to float or fly in the air without wings. Those organs will glow intensely when they store large amounts of electrical energy." "Covering much of her body are dozens of tentacles that generate static electricity. When the tentacles rub together, they produce a powerful electrical charge that clads Narwa in golden lightning, allowing her to unleash that electricity from her body in a variety of ways." "Narwa constantly generates a large amount of electricity in and on her body, affecting the environment around her (Basically, she "repels" herself off the ground, much like two magnets repelling each other)." "Her body generates so much electricity that even touching her can be fatal (Any creature that touches her will be severely burnt by the electricity coursing through her veins)." "When Narwa is around, objects will randomly float around the area, and a thunderous storm will cover the sky in golden lightning. Compared to Ibushi, Narwa was more eager to mate, and she was greatly angered when she heard her mate's sorrowful cries. Although Narwa stays in one place during the mating season, her presence can be felt from afar, not only by Ibushi but by other creatures." "When Ibushi was repelled, she made her presence known and shook multiple ecosystems with her thunderous roar, leading to the continuation of the Rampage. When her location was discovered, the Guild sent hunters to handle her, but that hunting party was decimated by her. Rather than sending another group of hunters to slay her, the Guild sent the "Fierce" to permanently take care of her." "Narwa chose the Coral Palace, a forgotten fortress that seems to have come out of the sea, as her nesting spot, and the Fierce went there alone on a small boat to face her. The Coral Palace is on an isolated island surrounded by a wind-swept sea." "Narwa has outstanding abilities that some consider greater than Ibushi's. As mentioned above, she can release powerful electrical shocks from her entire body, and she does so in a variety of ways. She can release streams of electricity from her thundersacs, and she uses the dozens of tentacles on her body like "limbs" to manipulate large amounts of electricity at will. She can also expel powerful electrical blasts from her mouth." "When she becomes enraged, her body will produce more electricity, further enhancing the strength of her attacks. The more enraged Narwa becomes, the more electricity her body will produce, meaning her attacks will become more powerful and unpredictable." "Hunters can use those magnetized objects to their advantage while hunting Narwa. Damaging her thundersacs will dispel some of the electricity she has built in her body, weakening her abilities. She'll fall to the ground if most of her thundersacs are damaged. The thundersac on her abdomen is especially sensitive, and electricity will violently explode in her body if that particular thundersac is heavily damaged in combat." " When pushed to her limit, Narwa truly shows her destructive capabilities. Narwa will pierce the heavens and earth with her divine lightning, bringing death and destruction to the land. Reference: mythopedia.com/topics/raijin " "Although Narwa has destructive abilities, she may also be a bringer of life. Deep in the underground caves of the Lava Caverns, the skeleton of a Narwa can be found. This individual chose that locale as her nest spotting, but she died before an Ibushi could discover her location. This Narwa likely died due to old age or some other factor. Many volcanoes surround the Lava Caverns, but not many creatures (Monsters and endemic life) can be found inhabiting them. However, many creatures can be found inhabiting the Lava Caverns, and this is due to the immense energy left behind by that Narwa. Her energy created a biodiverse ecosystem, an ecosystem that the Guild is keeping tabs on." "The hide protects her from thunder attacks and makes lightning strikes feel like bug bites. Flesh-singeing electricity courses through her carapace. Her claws can slice would-be attackers and alter the surrounding terrain." *"Narwa's horns can shoot out bolts of lightning when swung (This isn't really shown in-game, but the horns do shoot out lightning).* The "Thunder Serpent Orb" is a rare jewel that forms inside of Narwa's thundersac. This jewel shimmers with the ire of lightning, and it is said that its holders can tame thunder. It is also that it'll unleash a blinding lightning strike when exposed to the outside air. The Thunder Serpent Orb is thought to be the true source of Narwa's power." "When chaos rocks the world, it appears to help guide mankind." "Soar among the lightning to crush all calamity." "Shake the spent world with dominion over the halo of souls." "The raging and roaring thunderbolts of the Allmother are revered and worshipped." "Even if the world falls to ruin, this strength shall shape the next." " Sources: 1. Ngl Ibushi and Narwa is one of the most awesome things I have ever experienced in gaming, it was fantastic through and through, a complete absolutely perfect experience. The music was insanely good, even more amazing when you notice that the vocals for Ibushi + Narwa themes are symbolically sang by Hinoa and Minoto. Also in the solo songs, the verse parts have an awkward pause as if they were supposed to be a duet, but the other voice is not there, the music brilliance put into this game is astounding.

I have a somewhat scary headcanon about Allmother Narwa. I believe that you got lucky in finding Ibushi and Narwa when you did. By being forced to drain the life of an Ibushi at death's door and then immediately be thrown into battle, Allmother Narwa was nowhere near full potential, and could be beaten with High Rank gear. _Master Rank_ Allmother Narwa, fought in Sunbreak's postgame, is the true power of the Allmother state - she's what happens when a Narwa gets to chow down on a _healthy_ Ibushi and have time to get used to her improved elemental powers. She could even be an older, more experienced Narwa that successfully completed the breeding cycle many times, meaning the High Rank one we fought was a relatively young individual that maybe had one successful breeding cycle under her belt.
My hopes are that Ibushi gets a Variant of his own, and we get a "definitive" version of their final fight where we take on the both of them at the same time, as opposed to how it is now(Ibushi first then he dies and Narwa next).
Well they're in master rank as new gatekeepers for mr20 and 30 and boy did they make them harder but also less effective hp than how we faced them at first

Ibushi was repelled in the Stronghold (It was assumed that he would eventually die from his injuries), while Narwa fell into a deep crater and presumably died." "After Narwa was defeated, the Guild sent out scouts to find and recover her body, but she was nowhere to be found..." "During Kamura's celebration, Ibushi and Narwa once again resonated with Hinoa and Minoto. Wind Serpent Ibushi and Thunder Serpent Narwa were very much alive, and they were ready to destroy the land so they could bring forth the next generation of Storm Serpents." "Both serpents had retreated for now to recover from their injuries (Ibushi's injuries were more serious), and while they did remain hidden for quite some time, their presence could still be felt across the land by other monsters." "During this reprieve period, Ibushi and Narwa's activities caused numerous powerful monsters to start appearing (Apex Monsters and Elder Dragons) in the region. What would happen if those two actually met each other?" "Ibushi hid somewhere around the Coral Palace after his battle in the Stronghold (He stayed there for quite a while as he recovered from his injuries), and Narwa went there to find him (Chances are Narwa might've been protecting Ibushi during that first fight in the Coral Palace)." "Ibushi and Narwa had reunited before the Guild could find them, meaning it was only a matter of time before the land was filled with the next generation of Storm Serpents. The Fierce was asked to face off against the duo one more to end the Rampage, once and for all." "Ibushi and Narwa had mated before anyone could find their current location. While Narwa was hiding in her nest as she prepared to lay her eggs, Ibushi was flying around guarding her and the nest." "Although Ibushi had time to recover from his injuries, he was still greatly weakened after that battle at the Stronghold (That's why he goes down so easily during the Allmother quest). Ibushi fought through the pain to protect his mate and his unborn offspring, but he was too weak to overcome the Fierce's onslaught." "After sustaining a large amount of damage from the Fierce, Ibushi fell out of the sky and into Narwa's nest. Ibushi failed to protect his mate and young... He didn't have enough strength to continue fighting, so he made a tough decision. Seemingly, Ibushi told Narwa to devour him and take his powers, and she did what he asked (Whether he really did that or not is up to interpretation). The two became the one known as "Allmother"." "Narwa the Allmother is a Variant of Narwa that came to be after Thunder Serpent Narwa devoured Wind Serpent Ibushi. While Ibushi is the first line of defense against enemies, Narwa is the last line of defense. Ibushi couldn't protect his family from danger, so Narwa sucked out his body fluids and made his power her own. Narwa did this as last ditch effort to protect herself and their offspring (Both serpents just wanted their young, and their young's young, to prosper in the world)." "Throughout MHRise's story, it was the mating season for Ibushi and Narwa, and both were quite moody during this period, especially Narwa. She was angry when Ibushi was seriously wounded in the Stronghold, and she was furious when the Fierce invaded her nest (She was going to lay her eggs soon, but we interrupted her)." "Because she was close to laying her eggs, she was more aggressive than usual (Lore wise, that's why Narwa the Allmother attacks more aggressively compared to Thunder Serpent Narwa. She's desperately trying to protect her young)." "As Narwa absorbs Ibushi's power, her overall coloration will change due to his immense energy combining with her own. Ibushi and Narwa are the Source of the Rampage, and when their powers combine, they become the Allmother (Two become one = a being with the traits of both)." "Noticeably, the appearance of Narwa's thundersacs changes after she absorbs Ibushi's energy. Like Ibushi, Narwa has windsacs on her body, but those sacs have degenerated over time and have become vestigial at best." "However, those windsacs became active again after she absorbed Ibushi's energy. Not only can Narwa the Allmother manipulate lightning, but she can also manipulate wind like her mate. Ibushi's energy also greatly boosted her already outstanding electrical abilities." "The Fierce reported seeing round orbs inside of the thundersac on Narwa the Allmother's abdomen, and those orbs are her eggs. When Narwa is close to laying her eggs, she'll move them to her abdomen (The thundersac on her abdomen doubles as an egg sac)." "Because her body produces so much electrical energy, the thundersac on her abdomen produces an immense amount of light, making that part transparent. When she devours Ibushi, his energy will explosively activate the eggs (Sparks life within them. His energy influences the eggs)." "Like Thunder Serpent Narwa, Narwa the Allmother has outstanding electrical abilities, and Ibushi's energy has made those abilities more extraordinary. Because of his energy, Narwa has gained some new powerful attacks, including a few wind-based attacks. Like the standard Thunder Serpent Narwa, Narwa the Allmother's power will gradually increase as she becomes more enraged." "Narwa the Allmother is the strongest monster in the Kamura Region, standing above all other monsters (Pinnacle of all Life/Apex). She has no equals (Not counting Crimson Glow Valstrax, Apex Diablos, Apex Zinogre, etc.), and no other monster can hope to match her abilities." "Her abilities are in the realm of legend, making her one of a kind. When Narwa devoured Ibushi and gained his energy, numerous monsters, including other elder dragons, in the surrounding area suddenly headed to her location. Those monsters were either drawn to her immense power or came together to try to kill her and end the Rampage (The monsters are also victims of the Rampage)." "Some of the monsters that appeared in the Coral Palace include Magnamalo, Kushala Daora, Teostra, and Malzeno. While it's unknown why those monsters suddenly showed up, they did help the Fierce overcome Narwa the Allmother's immense strength. This sudden barrage of attacks from the monsters and the hunter further angered Narwa the Allmother, causing her to show off her true power. She'll do whatever it takes to protect her and Ibushi's lineage. While Narwa the Allmother did put up a good fight, she was ultimately slain by the Fierce. Thus the Rampage had finally come to an end!" "Her ultramarine and golden yellow scales collide like the sky and lightning. Her horns dominate the dancing gales and earth-splitting thunder. Those who carry one of her horns will be protected from misfortune." "Within the "Orb of Origin" dances father wind and mother lightning (There was a rumor that this material was Narwa's eggs, but there's nothing that confirms this)." I love the way Ibushi makes use of the wirebugs as a mechanic, having to get yourself up to the cannons and ballistae to shoot it down before it charges a massive AOE. Same thing with Narwa having the dragonator attack, both of these fights are so damn engaging, especially in comparison to World’s basegame final boss. (I love you still xeno)
I do love and appreciate all your medleys, Dravonista (seriously how have I not found your channel before???), I just think for this one you should have avoided the direct fade-in to the next songs. The pieces of the different monsters here just don't really work together like that (it sounds great for the instrumental to vocal ones though). A moment of fade to silence between the separate monster themes would work better here. Thanks a TON for the work you do, though--I've been sending friends "their" monster themes and found your Amatsu vid with the Roar first for one of them, which I've been DYING to have all together.
Im just realising. People always say gaismagorm has similarities to the serpents. And while that is true VAAL HAZAAK shares some similarities too. The 2 mouths with the second one being bone. The pure yellow eyes. Maybe they share an ancestry
Just imagine if Narwa wasn't pregnant and didn't have to be careful about her kids potentially being hurt. She'd be free to have her revenge and tear hunters a new one for killing her one true live.
I was estatic that Magnamalo arrived in high rank to help me fight Narwa the Allmother. But I was elated that Malzeno showed up in master rank. I helped it with its turf war with Giasmagorm and it returned the favor. Plus it was slightly more satisfying with Malzeno.

Hot take: beware Gonna be honest while it was a cool fight, it definitely didn't stand up to that of previous monsters, and while some say they couldn't fit a whole scale fight, it's a switch look at Gogmazios on the DS and Amatsu in GU for the switch. Narwa was cool with some of its moves taken from other monsters but it didn't feel like there was enough of a threat, you kinda just kill them bc they had so little story in the main quests. Other monsters actually showed their "power of the gods" and make it come across within the first two to three moves that you are all that stands between them and the world. Narwa may have that with its one move that blows up everything but it takes the whole fight to get there.

Surprise surprise, shagaru was fodderized! Gaismagorm took his place sustituting apex virus with qurio
mhstories:
Who says monsters have no honor? It was even more especially so when Malzeno aids you in Master Rank fight. I helped it with Giasmagorm and it helped me Narwa.
"Velkhana? Willing to put aside our differences once last time?"
*_*"Understood, Hunter."*_*
The song's lyrics are quite literally their own words.
The villager seeing the twins sing : 😮
It still gives me goosebumps all over every time I listen to their songs. It makes you wonder how ancient Kamura is because if they have always sung for the hunters, maybe that tradition is passed on because of Ibushi and Narwa.
Its super eerie but at the same time its also beautiful, its like they needed humans (and wyverians) to help them. Malzeno did do a little twist on that idea as well in sunbreak.
Beating Allmother with the long sword you get from Fugen is a different feeling entirely, especially with Rise's godlike proof of a hero rendition.

The line “To rule the world and all beyond” sends chills down my spine

@@guanabana7760 I'm so pleased this was brought to my attention. Nice!

Wouldn't happen sadly, since Ceadeus is underwater only. But maybe a remastered version of Amatsu. Who knows?

"Split the heavens with bolts of ruin and rend the land."
"Bathe the land in lightning, and bring about the end."
"Usher in the end of all life, rebirth it through furious thunder."
"Destroy all, that life may spring anew from its ashes."
"Annihilate this world that it may begin anew."
"After Wind Serpent Ibushi is repelled in the Red Stronghold, it seemed that the Rampage was finally over, but one unanswered question remained...
"Who was his queen?""
"Not long after Wind Serpent Ibushi is repelled, a particularly large Rakna-Kadaki suddenly appears in the Lava Caverns, and Minoto begins to act strange. It is soon discovered that another Rampage seemed to be coming, not from Wind Serpent Ibushi but rather his mate. Like her sister, Minoto had resonated with an elder dragon, and this elder dragon is known as Thunder Serpent Narwa, the Thunder God Dragon."
"Identified by her two magnificent horns and yellow shell, Thunder Serpent Narwa is the female counterpart of Wind Serpent Ibushi. While he controls the wind and air, she controls thunder and lightning. This female elder dragon's exact habitat range is unknown, but she has long been a part of the region's history."
"Before humans populated the Shrine Ruins, there were numerous monster species (Arzuros, Izuchi, Aknosom, Bishaten, Zinogre, Mizutsune, Almudron) living in that unspoiled land. Decades later, Wind Serpent Ibushi's gales brought those monsters back to the Shine Ruins, ravaging the land that the humans had cultivated for years."
"Thunder Serpent Narwa's overall body frame, shape, and characteristics are the same as Wind Serpent Ibushi's, but there are some differences between the two."
Much like Ibushi, Narwa has thick, highly elastic skin covering much of her body, but, unlike Ibushi, her skin is well insulated, and this is due to the large amounts of electricity that flows throughout her body. While Ibushi uses the special gas produced in his "windsacs" for flight, Narwa uses the electric currents produced in her "thundersacs" for flight."
"Narwa has seven thundersacs on her body that she uses to generate and store electricity (One on her head, one on both forelimbs, one on her tail, one on her abdomen, one on her back, and one on her chest). The electricity generated and stored within her thundersacs also produces a powerful magnetic field that allows Narwa to float or fly in the air without wings. Those organs will glow intensely when they store large amounts of electrical energy."
"Covering much of her body are dozens of tentacles that generate static electricity. When the tentacles rub together, they produce a powerful electrical charge that clads Narwa in golden lightning, allowing her to unleash that electricity from her body in a variety of ways."
"Narwa constantly generates a large amount of electricity in and on her body, affecting the environment around her (Basically, she "repels" herself off the ground, much like two magnets repelling each other)."
"Her body generates so much electricity that even touching her can be fatal (Any creature that touches her will be severely burnt by the electricity coursing through her veins)."
"When Narwa is around, objects will randomly float around the area, and a thunderous storm will cover the sky in golden lightning. Compared to Ibushi, Narwa was more eager to mate, and she was greatly angered when she heard her mate's sorrowful cries. Although Narwa stays in one place during the mating season, her presence can be felt from afar, not only by Ibushi but by other creatures."
"When Ibushi was repelled, she made her presence known and shook multiple ecosystems with her thunderous roar, leading to the continuation of the Rampage. When her location was discovered, the Guild sent hunters to handle her, but that hunting party was decimated by her. Rather than sending another group of hunters to slay her, the Guild sent the "Fierce" to permanently take care of her."
"Narwa chose the Coral Palace, a forgotten fortress that seems to have come out of the sea, as her nesting spot, and the Fierce went there alone on a small boat to face her. The Coral Palace is on an isolated island surrounded by a wind-swept sea."
"Narwa has outstanding abilities that some consider greater than Ibushi's. As mentioned above, she can release powerful electrical shocks from her entire body, and she does so in a variety of ways. She can release streams of electricity from her thundersacs, and she uses the dozens of tentacles on her body like "limbs" to manipulate large amounts of electricity at will. She can also expel powerful electrical blasts from her mouth."
"When she becomes enraged, her body will produce more electricity, further enhancing the strength of her attacks. The more enraged Narwa becomes, the more electricity her body will produce, meaning her attacks will become more powerful and unpredictable."
"Hunters can use those magnetized objects to their advantage while hunting Narwa. Damaging her thundersacs will dispel some of the electricity she has built in her body, weakening her abilities. She'll fall to the ground if most of her thundersacs are damaged. The thundersac on her abdomen is especially sensitive, and electricity will violently explode in her body if that particular thundersac is heavily damaged in combat."
" When pushed to her limit, Narwa truly shows her destructive capabilities. Narwa will pierce the heavens and earth with her divine lightning, bringing death and destruction to the land.
Reference: mythopedia.com/topics/raijin "
"Although Narwa has destructive abilities, she may also be a bringer of life. Her energy created a biodiverse ecosystem, an ecosystem that the Guild is keeping tabs on."
"The hide protects her from thunder attacks and makes lightning strikes feel like bug bites. Flesh-singeing electricity courses through her carapace. Her claws can slice would-be attackers and alter the surrounding terrain."
*"Narwa's horns can shoot out bolts of lightning when swung (This isn't really shown in-game, but the horns do shoot out lightning).* The "Thunder Serpent Orb" is a rare jewel that forms inside of Narwa's thundersac. This jewel shimmers with the ire of lightning, and it is said that its holders can tame thunder. It is also that it'll unleash a blinding lightning strike when exposed to the outside air. The Thunder Serpent Orb is thought to be the true source of Narwa's power."
"When chaos rocks the world, it appears to help guide mankind."
"Soar among the lightning to crush all calamity."
"Shake the spent world with dominion over the halo of souls."
"The raging and roaring thunderbolts of the Allmother are revered and worshipped."
"Even if the world falls to ruin, this strength shall shape the next."

Well, you do fight an Ibushi before fighting her, so maybe his death isn't necessary.
I am hoping these two return in some form in the master rank story like Xeno returned as an adult Safi.
I have a bad feeling that they won’t. It seems odd that you won’t be required to beat Allmother to access Master Rank.
At best we get non canon / story revelant grank quests of them
My hopes are that Ibushi gets a Variant of his own, and we get a "definitive" version of their final fight where we take on the both of them at the same time, as opposed to how it is now(Ibushi first then he dies and Narwa next).
Well they're in master rank as new gatekeepers for mr20 and 30 and boy did they make them harder but also less effective hp than how we faced them at first

"Ibushi and Narwa were ultimately defeated by the "Fierce," and it seemed that the Rampage had finally ended. Ibushi was repelled in the Stronghold (It was assumed that he would eventually die from his injuries), while Narwa fell into a deep crater and presumably died."
"After Narwa was defeated, the Guild sent out scouts to find and recover her body, but she was nowhere to be found..."
"During Kamura's celebration, Ibushi and Narwa once again resonated with Hinoa and Minoto. Wind Serpent Ibushi and Thunder Serpent Narwa were very much alive, and they were ready to destroy the land so they could bring forth the next generation of Storm Serpents."
"Both serpents had retreated for now to recover from their injuries (Ibushi's injuries were more serious), and while they did remain hidden for quite some time, their presence could still be felt across the land by other monsters."
"During this reprieve period, Ibushi and Narwa's activities caused numerous powerful monsters to start appearing (Apex Monsters and Elder Dragons) in the region.
What would happen if those two actually met each other?"
"Ibushi hid somewhere around the Coral Palace after his battle in the Stronghold (He stayed there for quite a while as he recovered from his injuries), and Narwa went there to find him (Chances are Narwa might've been protecting Ibushi during that first fight in the Coral Palace)."
"Ibushi and Narwa had reunited before the Guild could find them, meaning it was only a matter of time before the land was filled with the next generation of Storm Serpents. The Fierce was asked to face off against the duo one more to end the Rampage, once and for all."
"Ibushi and Narwa had mated before anyone could find their current location. While Narwa was hiding in her nest as she prepared to lay her eggs, Ibushi was flying around guarding her and the nest."
"Although Ibushi had time to recover from his injuries, he was still greatly weakened after that battle at the Stronghold (That's why he goes down so easily during the Allmother quest). Ibushi fought through the pain to protect his mate and his unborn offspring, but he was too weak to overcome the Fierce's onslaught."
"After sustaining a large amount of damage from the Fierce, Ibushi fell out of the sky and into Narwa's nest. Ibushi failed to protect his mate and young...
He didn't have enough strength to continue fighting, so he made a tough decision. Seemingly, Ibushi told Narwa to devour him and take his powers, and she did what he asked (Whether he really did that or not is up to interpretation). The two became the one known as "Allmother"."
"Narwa the Allmother is a Variant of Narwa that came to be after Thunder Serpent Narwa devoured Wind Serpent Ibushi.
While Ibushi is the first line of defense against enemies, Narwa is the last line of defense. Ibushi couldn't protect his family from danger, so Narwa sucked out his body fluids and made his power her own. Narwa did this as last ditch effort to protect herself and their offspring (Both serpents just wanted their young, and their young's young, to prosper in the world)."
"Throughout MHRise's story, it was the mating season for Ibushi and Narwa, and both were quite moody during this period, especially Narwa. She was angry when Ibushi was seriously wounded in the Stronghold, and she was furious when the Fierce invaded her nest (She was going to lay her eggs soon, but we interrupted her)."
"Because she was close to laying her eggs, she was more aggressive than usual (Lore wise, that's why Narwa the Allmother attacks more aggressively compared to Thunder Serpent Narwa. She's desperately trying to protect her young)."
"As Narwa absorbs Ibushi's power, her overall coloration will change due to his immense energy combining with her own. Ibushi and Narwa are the Source of the Rampage, and when their powers combine, they become the Allmother (Two become one = a being with the traits of both)."
"Noticeably, the appearance of Narwa's thundersacs changes after she absorbs Ibushi's energy. Like Ibushi, Narwa has windsacs on her body, but those sacs have degenerated over time and have become vestigial at best."
"However, those windsacs became active again after she absorbed Ibushi's energy. Not only can Narwa the Allmother manipulate lightning, but she can also manipulate wind like her mate. Ibushi's energy also greatly boosted her already outstanding electrical abilities."
"The Fierce reported seeing round orbs inside of the thundersac on Narwa the Allmother's abdomen, and those orbs are her eggs. When Narwa is close to laying her eggs, she'll move them to her abdomen (The thundersac on her abdomen doubles as an egg sac)."
"Because her body produces so much electrical energy, the thundersac on her abdomen produces an immense amount of light, making that part transparent. When she devours Ibushi, his energy will explosively activate the eggs (Sparks life within them. His energy influences the eggs)."
"Like Thunder Serpent Narwa, Narwa the Allmother has outstanding electrical abilities, and Ibushi's energy has made those abilities more extraordinary. Because of his energy, Narwa has gained some new powerful attacks, including a few wind-based attacks. Like the standard Thunder Serpent Narwa, Narwa the Allmother's power will gradually increase as she becomes more enraged."
"Narwa the Allmother is the strongest monster in the Kamura Region, standing above all other monsters (Pinnacle of all Life/Apex). She has no equals (Not counting Crimson Glow Valstrax, Apex Diablos, Apex Zinogre, etc.), and no other monster can hope to match her abilities."
"Her abilities are in the realm of legend, making her one of a kind. When Narwa devoured Ibushi and gained his energy, numerous monsters, including other elder dragons, in the surrounding area suddenly headed to her location. Those monsters were either drawn to her immense power or came together to try to kill her and end the Rampage (The monsters are also victims of the Rampage)."
"Some of the monsters that appeared in the Coral Palace include Magnamalo, Kushala Daora, Teostra, and Malzeno. Thus the Rampage had finally come to an end!"
"Her ultramarine and golden yellow scales collide like the sky and lightning. Her horns dominate the dancing gales and earth-splitting thunder. Those who carry one of her horns will be protected from misfortune."
"Within the "Orb of Origin" dances father wind and mother lightning (There was a rumor that this material was Narwa's eggs, but there's nothing that confirms this)."
"Note: Wind Serpent Ibushi, Thunder Serpent Narwa, and Narwa the Allmother were recently discovered, so there are some things still unknown about them."

What I like about things two is there the rise emblem logo.
Allmother's theme is my favorite 😍
Wow thanks for this
Hearing all these themes in one go was definitely worth it
Such beautiful themes
I have a theory it's about narwa after merginging with ibushi was going through 5 stages of depression
I'm seven months late, but do elaborate, please.
came back here after sunbreak's final boss. really miss the base game's soundtracks.
Monster Hunter's language is truly beautiful.
Perfect selection for a perfect battle

Fatalis: Is some motherfuqa using proof of a hero in there theme without my consent
Sounds like something out of Nier.
YES FINALLY THANK YOU PAL
I love Ibushi Theme,TYSM Dravonista
Good shit as always my dude
Man, I love Narwa's theme. Some bits in her theme remind me of Batman: The Animated Series and Ratchet and Clank, two series that I am very fond of.
You certainly went crazy today
Yeah I love both of them!!!
I dont know wtf they are singing but i fucking love it
That's the beauty of the music. You can't comprehend it.
I love the way Ibushi makes use of the wirebugs as a mechanic, having to get yourself up to the cannons and ballistae to shoot it down before it charges a massive AOE. Same thing with Narwa having the dragonator attack, both of these fights are so damn engaging, especially in comparison to World’s basegame final boss. (I love you still xeno)
You do amazing work!
Maybe they share an ancestry
nah, the similarities are too minor
Came back to this theme after soloing master rank allmother
Ibushi's instrumental theme plays when he breaks the first gate, right?
the proof of a hero drop in this fight was the most epic moment I went through in all the Mh franchise to be honest
There was definitely an official orchestra version of the All Mother song. Seems that was taken down.
I still want to see Ibushi if he absorbed Narwa’s powers, since he’s kinda more on the offensive side he’d be more agressive.
My hope is that Ibushi gets his own variant in Sunbreak.
Just imagine if Narwa wasn't pregnant and didn't have to be careful about her kids potentially being hurt. She'd be free to have her revenge and tear hunters a new one for killing her one true live.
Wouödnt make sense in a biological manner
Hm. Monster Hunter Rice.

This comment here is beautiful in every and all ways. Gonna get a marker and cross out Rise, replace it with Rice
Beautifull 🤩
I'm very excited to listen to Falkkone versions of all 3 serpents melodies
Still waiting… :(
They may be a kind of Shantien wannabe, but they're still pretty cool.
I was estatic that Magnamalo arrived in high rank to help me fight Narwa the Allmother. But I was elated that Malzeno showed up in master rank. I helped it with its turf war with Giasmagorm and it returned the favor. Plus it was slightly more satisfying with Malzeno.
amazing mix

Yes, Ibushi kinda painful, Tylenol doesn't help tho
Narwa and ibushi is not evil like fatalis. They only kill other creature so their kids can survive in this harsh land.
Except they also wanted to destroy the world to make their paradise.
@@ReesesBees it might be a sort of egotistic madness then, but they don’t have the evil vibe that fatalis has. Fatalis makes you feel as though it was born to destroy, to destroy for the sake of destruction itself.

The thunder and wind dragons just wanted to breed some offspring because of the mating season once every century. But hunters just gotta make their lives difficult.
am i the only person who wonders what the Narwa allmother's offspring would look like if she wasn't killed? just me?
Smol ibushis and narwas
God it's so *HYPE*
Narwas theme sortve reminds me of the divine dragons theme from sekiro
The Unkalos: That's a gods? 😂 Stupeh funny serpents! 😂
Ukanlos isn't even strong enough to be considered an elder dragon.
@@Elyrium42 its strength is comparable to a Elder dragon. The classification is using the monster biology to determine what species a monster is and ukanlos is a flying wyvern because of his anatomy

That’s what I was thinking when that info was released lmaoooo (even if it’s not to the same extent as ibushi)
i didnt like it how narwa killed ibushi at the end of the fight its just messed up
It was a mercy kill; Narwa saw that Ibushi was NOT able to keep fighting, so she killed him, absorbed his power, and became the Allmother so she could continue their plans of destroying the world for their paradise.
Hot take: beware
Gonna be honest while it was a cool fight, it definitely didn't stand up to that of previous monsters, and while some say they couldn't fit a whole scale fight, it's a switch look at Gogmazios on the DS and Amatsu in GU for the switch.
If Narwa didn't have her babies to worry about, she'd just tear every hunter who dared oppose her a new one in an instant.

Fatalis, Alatreon, Gogmazios, Amatsu, Ivory / Abyssal Lagiacrus, Dire Miralis, Shaguru Magala, Dalamadur, and Nakarkos... all of which have the ability to destroy or have destroyed entire cities just by existing. (Gog just wanted munchies.) Like in my humble opinion, while Narwa and Ibushi were cool, they seemed lack luster in the showcase of their abilities, and even the fight seemed extremely easy compared to any monster listed above for me. It just seemed as though the "final" bosses of the story so far wasn't up to par with the mass extinction abilities of those final bosses before them.
Imo that's because narwa and ibushi's destructive capabilities are more passively happening with the rampage all over the place resulting in their less directly destructive powers
@@bowserfriend that makes sense. You don't always have to make it so every final boss gets cataclysmic destructive power like for example: idk being able to sink a continent. Sometimes just the idea of overwhelming hordes of power with a leader able to continuously make more and wear you down through time is enough to make a final boss feel final
I love almothers theme but she is too predictable
Idk what you mean I lost at least 6 times. I had to far caster away so many times
@@mattimeister1100 I find her easy like I can learn narwas attacks easily it's ok if u lost to it 6 times like how I find alatrion or fatallis hard but find it easy

@@calvinatorx1541 cant really compare Alatreon and Fatalis to these 2. They're essentially raid bosses while Ibushi and Narwa are story end bosses which are more spectacle than anything
