This house is like a modern version of the old Dutch farm houses. My mother in law has one that has a similar size. The greenhouse would be what used to be the animals barn back then, now it's her living room.

It looked like the top of the greenhouse doesn’t open. If so, then the space could be a lot cooler in the summer if the top edge could be ventilated and the two bottom edges open to air. This would create a chimney effect and it would pull the cool air in from the sides as the hot air goes up and out of the top.

Great way to have a greenhouse and a home, and use the greenhouse as more than just that. Brings the indoor and outdoor together but keeps you out of direct sunlight. Protects your things, outdoor areas from the elements well enough. You have created 2 living spaces, 2 sleeping areas, and 2 bathing areas. You have so much. Also, it seems so doable. Good for guests and full time living partner. This does not feel small at all. I really love it and will consider such elements in my own home when I get out of a traditional house. Much more affordable. Gives me some answers as to how to live in a greenhouse that are practical and long term. I'm so glad to see your video and I've subscribed. Thank you for sharing.

I have been collecting used french doors that will become a attached greenhouse. I have a huge deep tub in my garden that I heat the water in a 55 gallon drum on top of a wood fired rocket stove. The bathtub will be relocated into my Greenhouse with the 55 gallon drum water heater outside. In the winter the greenhouse will act as a heat sink and in the summer I can open the doors. I live completely off grid with big Gardens. It's a good life!

RV tubs are the size of your shower. I love the heating were the exhaust pipes go around the base of the rooms and are enclosed creating heated bed, benches, etc, maybe even outside the walls in a greenhouse envelope or under the floor?
I AM CANADIAN! understand both metric AND US, some things easier in metric like temperature, some easier US like feet, inches, although metric adds up easier, everything pretty well in 10s.
Rollers or wheels under greenhouse to push closed? And open.

I have the ideal to to do similar project, geodome greenhouse with a geodome house inside. It will be an underground greenhouse, where it is like 8 foot deep, the geodome is for the top/surface. This way it will be temperature stable much better than standing above the ground, but it will still receive all the light it needs with the all transparent dome, so you can grow all year round with little or no extra heat or cooling. The heat from the house in cooler temps will heat the dome, the entire house will be inside the dome, no extra need for greenhouse heat. Even with all the doors and windows in the house shut, it will radiate its heat into the dome slowly but constantly.
It could be done above ground too, i would like to try it both ways in the same temperature zone to see the difference in real world results. Like how much more energy is saved in heat or cooling, and is it worth it, and do i like the design of living in a hole with a transparent top, or would i rather prefer to just live on the surface with the transparent top, etc... It might not be as bad as it sounds living in the 8ft. hole, because it will have a transparent top, and you will be growing stuff and once it all is growing good you won't have to look at the walls you will be looking into your gardens. If you want a view go to the top floor in the house, it will be inside the dome, but high enough it will be above the surface, because the greenhouse dome will be on the surface covering the hole. So that means it will be protruding up above the surface, and you can have the very top floor of the house a deck with a fireplace, but even the floor below you can see the surface. 2 floors with a 3rd penthouse deck and fireplace, the first floor is at the level in the hole 8ft. below surface, 2nd floor will be level with surface, 3rd floor is a deck with view and fireplace. You can have a basement too, it will be 16ft. below the surface.

A different design would be better for small kids or the elderly, wouldn’t it.

I love thise houses with huge greenhouses around them, but how great to have a tiny house in a green house.

Very livable design. I'm not sure if I'd want the effort of having to move the greenhouse component, but the exploration of non-energy-consuming heating is fascinating. Instead of the net over the kitchen, I would perhaps consider Plexiglas to let the light through.
