I never divorced her because I have no intention of getting to know another woman again. Sometimes, I wish I were attracted to men, but unfortunately, I am not. Marriage has become a joke; people treat it like a casual date nowadays. Many stay in abusive relationships because they believe in the potential of the other person, instead of valuing them for who they are now. I believe it's important to make a logical decision about a person based on how they are, not on how they could change.
Understanding that marriage is not about upgrades is a moral value. It's something that clicks in people or doesn't. You can't convince her. It has to come up on her own. If she goes back to you, it's because she'll want her spot filled back up before she runs away again if she finds a "better" option. It is evident that she has some personal problems.
