For all the people hating on Axl here, he was actually very cool about it. Anyone would be annoyed in a situation like this, and I thought it was pretty funny how he handled it. Props to him for going on with the song. The old Axl would have stormed off the stage and canceled the show. People can change you know. Give the guy some credit.

I was so happy to see Axl so healthy.He just looks happier. He has his band back. He was able to salvage Duff and Slash (not too shabby!). He's in control and he looks great! Peace and love to everyone from Houston, TX. :-)
I was in LA for a research trip and flew to Nashville to catch them! I flew all the way from Malaysia! I could only say the same :D He was confident, in control and most importantly truly enjoying himself! Same goes for the rest in the band. I'm so glad I made the trip!

I was born in 1992 haha and I could not relate to music of my generation so I had to look back at the history books and there was GN'R. Can't give Axl grief for that. It sounded horrible. But I can only imagine what ran through Duff and Slash's heads for a brief moment. But unlike the old GnR Axl truly seems to be at peace and really enjoying this and having fun.

The piano Axle is playing is a midi grand - it has the ability to produce (or trigger) a digital piano sound which is mostly what the audience hears. The old fashioned method of internal Miking of the acoustic sound of a piano is seldom used all by itself anymore. Techs rely on digital sounds to give them the volume they need on stage without the fear of feedback. What you are hearing is what happens when errant midi messages are received by the piano- probably intended as controller messages for some other piece of equipment- on the stage. Seen it a million times.
This "Layla" the truth that screwed up the song so playing his piano , it should have realized that sounded wrong and stop herself. The worst is that continued playing the piano badly that woman.

Shit happens. Sometimes even in the midst of november... it rains! Just laugh and enjoy it. At least it breaks up the monotony.

I have a morbid since of humor but here goes one, Ok Axl is playing along and starts hearing the piano going haywire and says "What the fuck was that?" He then stops and lifts up the wooden top part of the piano and looks inside and sees 8 mice running around and yells EEhh!! MICE!!! and screams with a high pitch girly voice and runs towards the front of the stage and slash trips him and he flys off and everbody scurries out of the way and he lands face first on the ground. LOL
I was at this show & I was afraid he would end the show because of this mishap. No he played on & delivered the best show I ever been to. I'm dumb when it comes to technology & I thought his piano got hacked at first. Hahaha
