Capp, Medical Journals might be something you want to gather up. Learning to make Herbal Antibiotics might be really good. You need 30/75 and good thing is they can be crafted in both a campfire or a chem lab.

I don't know Capp, might be a good idea to make the 4k ride for the new trader quest that he gave you being that the new trader is Jen and her specialty is health stuff. Well, maybe you will get lucky and find a pharmacy, medical clinic or a hospital in the new town. But loot EVERYTHING, I have even found antibiotics in garbage. Really though what did you do to piss off the 7 Days to Die gods lol. Well, I am rooting that find something to clear that infecting up soon.

Hey, Capp, I think I saw an Aldos Cabinet next to your new home. It might be too late to move but I wanted to say this is my favorite POI to make my home, since it's got cobblestone walls (sort of, 1200 hp) a high roof that's big enough for all your workstations, dew collectors and farm plots and it's really easy to cut the zombies' access.

Screamers show up more often in 1.0. Wait until your level increases a bit. The 2 screamers that show up will be irradiated. You now need the irradiated mod on all your weapons. Also it's a good idea to have silencers on your guns because those irradiated screamers bring a ton of irradiated zombies....
As always Capp00, great video! If there is one thing I absolutely hate doing, that is moving. I don't care if it's summer, spring, fall, or winter, I absolutely dread moving. I hope the move for your mom went well.
Ha ha ha, the Announcement sound-byte came back (Big Mama).....it *does* enhance the 'jump-scare'. It's also pretty funny. 👍
Since you're moving anyway you should just pack up all the really important stuff, sell the rest, and ride out to see Jen, she has a way better chance to have those meds you need, and with the new non-random gen system she has a chance to be in a mid size town at least instead of the dinky little holes Rekt hangs around.
Man's got some good advice...no telling if Capp will follow it.

Try Tracking the harvest honey challenge. It should point you towards stumps... whether stumps appear in the wasteland, not sure.
Screamer mechanics changed (lower threshold with lower chance). The shot gun use called them in.
Heya Capp! The cooling mesh is currently an unecessary mod. The armors all have heat/cold ratings of 20 automatically, likely while they work on the weather system. I didn't check yet, but insulated liner used to have explosion reduction too, so that one would still be useful if it does.
Yup, I do replace it next episode with something MUCH better ;)
Okiedokie! I really hope they fix that system soon. I do miss the immersion of managing heat and cold in the biomes and rain.

I’ve seen a Screamer in that POI every time I’ve been there. She normally breaks out of the middle boarded up window when you get a job there.

Yep, she is a normal spawn for that POI, and does not act like "ZombieScout"
Just got the latest update today not sure if it just dropped or was here since new version but cotton is the new cash crop. Each piece of cotton, not cloth, is a little over 2 gold. Found this out by total accident. With the right perks and crop fields can give a nice steady income stream. Might be hard to find in the wasteland but not impossible.
Rekt is trying to send you to Jen. She's got all the meds. He's trying to help you cure your infection. 😅

I did see someone pick up their forge with something in it. But it was only 2 clay and it dropped in a backpack. Weird thing is those 2 clay couldn't be used for anything but smelting in the forge. It wouldn't even stack with other clay! So maybe a glitch? Who knows.
Good luck on the new base, Capp! I hate how some worlds seem to constantly throw quests that are a long ways away. Those moves suck. I have a number of old worlds where I'll go back to an area and discover a fully-formed base that I had forgotten about. :)

Loving the video series, please keep up the good work. Was going to suggest that you go on a tree stump, clearing expedition and try to find a whole bunch of honeys that way. Also, reading the medical journals will get you to being able to create the herbal antibiotica lot sooner.

I think(not sure, obviously 😅) that your new house is a reworked version of the house you stayed in during the first lone survivor. Both had the huge dirt mounds in front, with covered holes hiding ammo crates in the same spots 🤔
Yeah, they changed the forge drop when picked up thing. Would be nice if they left it in. I miss the (I think it was DF, but it might have been Joke Mod) forges that create from things in your inventory without having to load it into the forge first.
Seems like everytime I moved in Texas it was the Summer [[a lot]] then moved from Texas to NC-in the Summer. NC weather is similar to Houston, then, two years ago moved from one place to our new place-in the Summer. Next time I'm burning the plae down and starting over instead.

There's always a screamer in that poi, she usually walks out the window if you approach from the front.
You may have not been able to pick up the forge because you turned it on and started burning fuel before attempting and it may just need to be empty of fuel first. I haven't had to move one yet but I'll try it when I get on to play tomorrow and check.
NGL, I would laugh if now that you’ve moved, all the tier 2 quests are back at the first town. It would be typical wasteland logic.

8:50 Capp, for some reason, I can only hit the dogs when they're standing still. If they move like an inch, I can't hit 'em, despite being able to hit everything else (except ugly birds.) I say the hitboxes are janky, but maybe we're both just lousy shots.
I wish chicken soup gave like. A 1% decrease in infection. Not much, but enoigh to help you feel better for a while

@@morrisminor19481971 In the Wild West mod, you can actually find honey comb which does that, and can also be used to make other things that have honey in them and so clear up smaller amounts of infection. It's a cool balance between realism and giving you a little more breathing room to deal with infections.
The game is just drip feeding you the honey. I hope you find a large stash of it and a big stack of antibiotics! Not sure what you did to bring in two screamers. Great fun Capp and best of luck with the move. Thank you xx

Algorithmically speaking....good stuff. I wish I could help you with the antibiotics. Maybe the game is giving me yours. I have found that the stumps are skimping on honey now though. Kept track, 37 stumps=6 honey and that is after getting the more honey book after 19 stumps. I didn't see any difference so maybe that book only applies to trees. I have actually gotten more antibiotics and honey from generic trash. I haven't kept track but feel like the trach on the roads have been where I found most honey and both antibiotics.

Doctor Jen should be your enxt tradetr so teh 4.5 km travel distance is pretty much a necissity with your infection level. In Alpha 21 they added Screamers to select POI's, they are fack and do not summon hordes which is good.
I had to help my sister move from her first flat with her then boyfriend. Holy crap, you wouldn’t believe what you can fit in a flat in ten years. I told her she’ll have to burn the next place down 😂

Idk if moving was a good idea now that your on tier 2 jobs. The town you were in seemed like mostly tier 2 buildings. You might wind up having to travel back there now
It’s cool your world went to B317. I did the update, it seemed to come in two parts and my world did not update, it stayed at 312 (I think). Did this happen to anyone else?

Not to mention that major roads (like the one south that led to the mission you turned down because it was 1.4km away) generally lead to new settlements. Your antibiotics problem may already be solved; you just have to do it.

It hasn't changed. Just screamers have more of a chance to spawn naturally now.

Your videos are great, make no mistake, and I know the standard answer is "But it''s dangerous in the Wasteland!" but given the choice between making a 4K ride - RIDE, not walk, not run - to almost certainly get antibiotics from a KNOWN dealer in medicines and spending yet more time (a) hoping to find honey, (b) hoping to find ABs and (c) being worried/complaining about the impact that your ever increasing infection is having on you, I have to honestly say I was surprised you didn't take the time to at least try. I like your videos, and you know that, and I am an untiring supporter of your channel and love it to death but honestly, sometimes I truly just don't understand the choices you make, given how long you've played the game.
Granted, I say that also not being a content creator who is trying to make a video AND keep it entertaining AND not die, AND AND AND, so I acknowledge that. 👍👍👍

Yes - it's no different than any other weapon. You can make them in a workbench all the way up to tier 6 if you have the magazine read for making them and have a high enough skill level.

I'm not a noob player and I'm fully versed in reloading guns IRL and in-game. Weapons in this game have a delayed animation that if you switch before it completes, it cancels the reload.
