Usually I don't do off strip properties, but if it's connected to PH and Miracle Mile, then getting to and from Las Vegas Blvd should be easy. Looks like a nice modern resort. Don't know about the spa tub being right next to the bed though, that just seems a bit awkward imo. Not worried about the gym either, I'll exercise when I get home. On vacation in Vegas, I plan to be a 100% grade A fatty with no shame! I have enjoyed your Vegas journey! It's my favorite town!

I know you like vdara. I'd consider vdara "modern luxury" and Elara "approachable luxury." You should definitely check it out. I'd be interested In your opinion.
@@Coolist I am looking at rates now for October. Coincidentally, Vdara and Elara are the only 2 luxury hotels on the Vegas strip that have not doubled their rates for that month. Something big must be going on in town then. Anyway, safe travels Mr. James. Make sure to keep one of those Mirage coconut cups as a souvenir! They last a long time!
Great review and great content. I’ve been waiting for someone to do this review. My wife and I have been staying at the Elara exclusively for our yearly Vegas trips because of how beautiful, clean and quiet the hotel is. The staff is always so nice and professional and it’s non gaming and non smoking which is a plus.

That's so exciting! The city has changed tremendously since you've been there. It'll be like visiting Vegas for the first time again.
So I booked a room there, in part, because of this video.
The room was big and clean! But that’s where the good part ends. Check out time is 10AM asking before my stay, for a late check out was too early…. Check in I asked, too early…. The day before I was to check out, ooops! TOO LATE! sorry! NEVER AGAIN!
Would you recommend Elara or Trump international??

Elara is "the bomb". I've stayed there many times. Even stayed in the Penthouse suite overlooking the Strip

I’ve been to Vegas 7 times in the last 8 or so years and I’ve stayed at Elara for 6 of them and will not stay anywhere else. Amazing location, the strip is maybe a five minute walk through the PH casino, tons of great food and shopping to choose from in the Miracle Mile. Paris and Bellagio are right next door as well.
Its crazy no one mentions it connects somewhat to Planet Hollywood. That is suchba luxury for parents traveling with kids to be able to swtch and go to the slots without having to step outside.
I’m so going to miss your Vegas videos!! But, I know there’s more epic content to come!!

I own at Elara and Kings Land. Over several years and multiple vacations at several Hilton Grand Vacations properties, I have never had a bad experience. Definitely recommend the Elara!

Beautiful condo. When we stay in Vegas we stay at the jockey club but this one is nice also
Pool service would have made this property perfect!
That PF Chang’s is the only one I will eat at.
The lack of pool service takes a little luster away from the property, but just ever so slightly. And it'll be hard to eat at another pf changs after the experience at PH
Thank you, because of you I switched from Vdara to Elara thought I still want to stay at Vdara next year for a few days, but I believe from now on This will be my go to hotel!
I never thought I'd say this, but I think Elara has the better standard room compared to vdara.
Update, I stayed Monday-Wednesday pre-paid for 733.00 190.00 a night plus tax, it goes up substantially on the weekends nearly 450.00 a night, I’ll never stay on the weekends but I’ll definitely be back for 4 nights Monday-Thursday should be less than a thousand! Can’t wait.

Would love to send you an email and get some more guidance for prolonged Vegas stays. Appreciate you and all the footage. We will definitely be hitting Koi and the steak house in Planet Hollywood.

Looks like another nice place to take a kid and avoid casinos and parties. Kids love pools.

Can you explain what a condo hotel is and how it's different?
It's basically an apartment style experience. The rooms are usually large, luxurious, and feature amenities not found in traditional casino hotels, such as refrigerators, ranges (strives), microwaves, washer/dryer, dining tables and enhanced living areas.
The preceding would be the positives. The negatives are the lack of energy and entertainment options. condo hotels lack casinos and entertainment, and barely offer dining and drinking options, forcing you to go offsite.

Hey! I believe it ya know, regarding Hilton, we stayed at a Doubletree Hilton at San Francisco near the Air port, man, I lye down on my back, didn't move all night, I never do that, I do the hot dog usually, roll, roll, roll. Anyway, great mattress and bed treatments for sure. And believe it or not I loved the duvet so much we had them ship us one for home, lol. This place I must admit is a real cool looking hotel, we will definitely get over there to check it out. Look forward to seeing your next Coolist visit to Vegas, thanks for all the tips and video at all your stays! And Coolist drops the microphone, bam!!

Is Elara in a safe area?
The whole strip is generally safe, it’s also connected to Planet Hollywood. As of July 22nd, I can attest that it is in fact very safe.
New to you, I like your in put. I'm staying at the Venetian on my next trip. Great point for me none gaming and smoke free. I always stay cheap and be dissatisfied with the place. I consider myself an upscale person, so I'm going to change my style, thanks to types of Vloggers like you.
I don't mind spending a little extra on the room to feel more relaxed, comfortable, and upscale. It helps the mindset to be able to retire to a room that is quite enjoyable.

I don’t gamble much but usually get comps from Venetian/palazzo and Mgm properties. You sold me on Elara as an alternative if my comps stop coming some day in the future.
Likewise - gambling isn’t a prerogative for me either, which really gives me flexibilty on hotel options.
Thanks for posting, really enjoyed the video. Elara looks fantastic and I like staying at Hilton Properties. Usually stay at Hilton at Flamingo in the 1 bedroom suite, very similar setup but I'll have to check out Elara in the future.
If you are a Hilton person then you MUST stay at Elara.
American express Hilton honors card. Spend all year and get rewarded with nights at the Elara or any other Hilton property but Elara is the best.
Other people have mentioned that they really like that card.

The washer and dryer theoretically allows you to cut your luggage by half.

Great job sharing your experiences at each location, Very helpful! Elara question: for the projector/tv's was there a place to connect your own device via HDMI?
I am pretty sure there was, but I can’t pinpoint it or be fully certain.
No. They have set up the tv so you can’t connect your own devices. I found the big projector not as useful as it seems because you’re limited to what’s on tv.
Jonathan, I stayed at the Elara last April ‘21 and was able to connect my laptop to the living room tv via hdmi connector which allowed me to use my laptop on the projector. Will be staying again next month at Elara! The Projector & Jetted tub are the best in Vegas.
Update! Just spent a weekend there and everything was remodeled, including the tv! I was able to connect my fire stick and Nintendo switch to the tv with the projector. I couldn’t get the bedroom TVs to connect.

I brought tickets for the palms back in 2019. I thought palms casino would have been open, but it is not going to. A few days ago after the double homicide I had to change my reservations to Palace stations. Can I just say how pissed I am about all of this. If i had known a year ago, I would have booked at Cosmo or this place.

Yeah!! another Elara feature!! Wait til you check out where the Hilton owners stay, above the 50th floor. If you thought that the suite you stayed at was beautiful, those ones are 50X times more beautiful and jaw-dropping. That's why I caught the bug and became a Hilton owner. Elara or Trump which is better?
Elara probably - better location and more luxurious and modern rooms. The trump pool is much better though, and the location next to fashion show mall shouldn't be ignored.
I'm not sure if your being paid for this content, but not mentioning that the pool is beyond cold and has no heater is deceptive , The exact reason no one was in the pool in this video. Got to man up to get in this pool, fun to just people watch dipping their toes and walking away..
Maybe I didn't find it cold and you should man up.

The Elara is a well kept secret jewel. Been there twice
Big suites, 2 baths, full kitchen which is a big plus and money saver
Once I land in Vegas, I go right to supermarket and stock up on drinks, coffee and food
It won't disappoint
