- In this video, Dr Mike explains the anatomical, physiological, and chemical differences between the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) and the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest).
I was trying to concentrate, but the mustache was such distraction.. hahaha!

Hands down one of the best anatomy channels. Appreciate the lectures, mate
This is fantastic. I am a pharmacy student and was loathing having to try to review several anatomy/function concepts but this addressed all of them in one segment. thank you!

Hello from Greece . Stress is when the sympathetic system is on alert ? And parasympathetic system is when the body comes in a calm situation?
Thank you, Dr. Mike. I have a quick question for you. When I am nervous (sympathetic nerve system activated), e.g: I'm going to give a public speaking. I need to use bathrooms a few time beforehand. But based on what you taught me, bladder is contracted due to stimulation of PNS, not SNS. Could you briefly explain why? Thanks.
Thanks so much mann

At 3:24 cranial nerves are part of the parasympathetic n.s
Let's all join Griffith university 😀😎
I love your vids! Is that a fake or real moustache 😂😂
I have no idea it's driving me INSANE
That was digestible 😋
Easy, PSNS stimulates and SNS inhibits.
PSNS on cranial
SNS on thoracic regions.
Thank me later.
