Enjoyable candid post, Chris. I’ve never been to that venue, but can identify with the “iconic shot” theme. Too easy for casual shooters to grab the “postcard” pic and go. But there are great images to be had for those with patience and an eye trained for recognizing good light and compositions. Second lake image, square format works well - balanced. First was too busy, IMO, eye wanders about the frame. 3rd square format has super light. Side by side boat pics work very well as comparison shots. Overlay rectangle graphic and map also a plus. Being patient and agile, after a warmup is good advice. Having images numbered would help, IMO. Multiples of same comp at different times of year can make for good series. Ducks should learn to hold still😁🦆 - otherwise, AI. Cheers!
Thanks so much Paul, really appreciate your kind words and feedback! 🙏🏻😊 I love that concept of revisiting different comps at different times of year, I do have some in mind for autumn/winter which i'm looking forward to revisiting! It's always great to see how the seasons completely change a scene! It's why it's always so important to keep going back to places 👌🏻
Haha that's some proper Welsh rain at the start of the video - I'm not looking forward to a full winter of that again 🙈 It's been a long time since I went up to the Lake District, but I've been meaning to return for ages. Really enjoyed the format of this video and the photos 👍
Straight back home to reality with this wet, welsh weather 😂👌🏻. It's definitely somewhere I'm going to spend more time, I really love the landscapes up there, very reminiscent of North Wales in some respects and that's never a bad thing! Really appreciate that mate, always great to hear feedback on how these videos are structured and presented - still trying to figure out what works best for me in terms of filming etc. Thanks so much for watching 🙏🏻
Thank you buddy! Really appreciate you taking the time to watch! Autumn can’t come fast enough, I’m really hoping to make the most of it this year! 🍂📸 Looking forward to seeing your autumn photos mate!
Thanks so much for watching folks! 📸 anyone else photographed the Lake District?
