Hi John! Please do come to the Philippines. A lot of great food here! BTW love your Vlogs! Thanks for that great buffet review Mike! I definitely agree Spiral is the best buffet!

You know what's the best about this buffet and why it differ from others? It's not just the "all around the world" culinary experience or the freedom to customize any of your food or the unlimited time of eating. It's the courtesy and kindness of the staff, from the manager to the chefs to the servers. Truly amazing!
We went here last year with my family and we didn't even get to taste a quarter of what they are offerings because we are so full with all the options. Omg we sat in a private room and just offered us foie grass. It was so good. For $60 it is the cheapest buffet I have ever spent my money on with high end quality food. Definitely going back again when we visit the Philippines again. This time gonna try my best to eat at least 50% of the food they offer. I swear Philippines has got some great food. You just have to make sure you choose the right restaurants to go to.
I have been a culinary intern at this buffet, and believe me, we really value quality and guest satisfaction. Like, we throw low quality foods (not necessarily spoiled) even if it will cost us huge losses. Also, sofitel spiral always have something extra to give, they do events, in the morning someine would sell taho (filipino delicacy) and walk around, someone rides a bicycle and goes around the buffet to deliver newspaper to anyone who wants it and we have this thing called "pass around" wherein we go around the buffet with samples of our foods which are not in the buffet itself and offer it to guests. And cmon spiral has it's own cheese room! And it is included in the buffet. I was an intern, and now, im a regular guest in this buffet 😂♥
@@Lchey648 Usually the cost of hiring people and equipment to move the food cost more than the food itself. @@kazutrashsato8883 agree with you right there.60$ is 3,000 pesos in the Philippines, and since the highest monthly wage is pretty low (around 1,000 or 200?idk) most likely you'll only be able to visit the buffet like once per year, that's not to count the fact you need to take an airplane trip if you don't live close to the buffet itself.

How badass is it that you just travel where you want, go eat places and record vidoes and put it on youtube and get paid for it. Not a bad career Mikey, no bad at all. Well done sir! Keep up the good work!
I did went there about 2 or 3 years ago and it was massive! You cannot eat all of it in just a day if I must say and the quality of the food served is great that it is an understatement for me.
After I gave up on bodybuilding cause I had no time for it, I cut my food portions in half. So now I get filled up on a couple of plates of food. But watching Mikey get to eat all he wants at these amazing buffets has inspired me to hit the gym again so I can do the same cause I love great food and hate feeling full so quickly.
You've done it Mike, you've finally convinced me to get on a plane to go here. This is bucket list #1 for me and I'm terrified at the thought of flying. But I will fly here one day for a honeymoon that my husband and I have never had. I'm so glad I found Off the Wall that led me to Strictly Dumpling!!
I’ve been here every chance I got to Manila. My girlfriend & I would feast on almost all of the dishes there. Some of them she wasn’t really familiar of (Italian meats & French cheeses) I’d let her know how they taste. Teppeyaki was our number one choice. Mike should’ve done a prosciutto, artichoke heart & beef cheek pizza with Irish goat cheese. That’s the pizza I always got when they had it. Expense-wise, for a local it’s expensive (& I do mean local, not OFW). OFW-wise, THIS IS A REASONABLE PRICE. Could you imagine if they had this in EU, US, or Dubai? They’d double the price.
I enjoyed this a lot. Instant sub. I'm a culinary grad. and line cook for a casino. So I love watching these types off things especially with his enthusiasm 😁😁😁
I'm an expat and when friends or Family come here I take them to Sofitel to impress them. Never fails. I also visit another buffet close by in a Casino called Fresh. Another great. Book both in advance though for weekend's and both have great bars and entertainments for the rest of evening. Hotel rate is not bad at Sofitel.
FOR 60$?!?! WOW here I was thinking all video long "bet it cost 1000$ at least cause all that food looks gastronomic and amazing service and spacy, and good decoration and all wowow mind blown
We went here back then with my rich classmate and his father was staying in one of the rooms and we ate here for like 4 hours, i had 10 plates OMG i’ve been overseas a few times but spiral buffet is incomparable,
Went there just this past summer and OMG IT WAS HEAVEN 😭😭😭😭 If you go there, don't eat anything all day till your reservation is so you can try everything!
That would actually be a mistake because your stomach shrinks when you don't eat... the more you eat the more your stomach expands to accommodate the food.... eat at least 4 hours before undertaking such a feast.
I'm fasting now (14.30 hours) and when I do break my fast I can barely eat anything because my stomach fills up really quickly, even something as simple as a glass of water and an apple is quite filling.
DUDE YOU ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED EVERYTHING. WOW. I don't think I could eat that much! But it is very cool to see that you enjoyed the experience. Cheers! 👍👍👍
In Asian countries they have a large group of people making executive decisions, In the states you have two. The CEO and the one with his nose shoved up his rear. Sad but true.

I finally enjoyed the buffet last night! Your video made this buffet a buffet not to miss! I would like to add that if you don't see something on the buffet line, JUST ASK! They will accommodate any requests if possible at each atelier--Foie Gras from the French atelier and buttered prawns from the Italian atelier.
You know, I was born in the Philippines, came to the US in the year 2000, and I haven't gone back since. Aside from reconnecting with my relatives, I haven't really had a reason to go back. UNTIL NOW.
In the F&B industry, Filipino hospitality and service is legendary. So legendary that they are all over the world, for example Dubai has tons of Filipinos and Dubai is a super rich city, hence it goes to say you wouldn't work there if you don't cut it, since they are rich enough to replace you anytime if you don't meet the mark.

Me: Damn son, that’s pretty good
Mike: *Tax included*
Me: I’m gonna book a first class flight to the Philippines, baby!
GO!!!!!!!! But wait u need a protection in philippines because pollution mate i liv in philippine
@Ernest Rigor its not the biggest. Only secound. I was there and it was just huuuugeee
Its even free (daily breakfast only) when you stay in a room for a day ($120-130/day).
All items in philippines include tax already.

If i was homeless, i would just spend the remaining of my savings to this buffet and just live there since there's no time limit.

Why not suggest them to be a worker on the buffet then?XD
Loller Boller You would need previous job experience, food safe and stuff in order to work at such a high class place.
I've been homeless, and trust me, you'd not be allowed to enter, even if you had $60, which you probably wouldn't.
LMAO😂
i cant believe i was in the same buffet, i was just staying in the hotel and decided to go for lunch and one of the staff recommended the buffet I've been to many buffet around the world because of my job, but nothing beats the buffets i had in both Manila and chongqing
Mike: Can I make pizza with these?
Chef: Yea of course of course

French guy says, "Asian corner" for the 15th time, and there's an awkward silence before Mike says, "Well we're in Asia right now so let's just call it the corner" and I die laughing.
and the japanese culinary is not included, they have the jaoanese section separated. wth. the manager looks too young and inexperienced, looking fromthe gestures, and that feet scratching

Hands down one of the best blushing experiences I’ve ever had in my life. I’ll definitely make a trip back to this place and Manila, Philippines City and country was absolutely fantastic
Only $60?? Unbelievable! This place is going on my bucket list.
$60=3,000 Pesos so basically that's a lot of money if you're here in PH
K- Studio only 2k that's regular price for a buffet here in the Philippines it's expensive only if you're living on below average i know many kore buffets that costs twice
I watched this video again but this time with my wife. Now my wife really wants us family to go to Spiral Buffet when we visit the Philippines.
Guess I'm travelling to Manila this year huh...craziest buffet I've ever seen and only $60 bucks wow
MrDeadlifter The cheapest buffet i had was only $10 but it’s worth it lol.

That comment goes well with your profile pic. Legend! 😂
I did went there about 2 or 3 years ago and it was massive! You cannot eat all of it in just a day if I must say and the quality of the food served is great that it is an understatement for me.
I am from Philippines and I'm so glad to hear those words from you Mike. Love your channel!
It's more fun in the Philippines
Thx for coming to Philippines Mike

You've done it Mike, you've finally convinced me to get on a plane to go here. This is bucket list #1 for me and I'm terrified at the thought of flying. But I will fly here one day for a honeymoon that my husband and I have never had. I'm so glad I found Off the Wall that led me to Strictly Dumpling!!
Diditap okay honey are you ready to go?! Loolollolol

Marry me darling... i cook filipino food for you..
The buffets I go to in canada are like $50 and saying they are 1/20th of the size of this wouldn't be an over exaggeration. This buffets crazy

Went there just this past summer and OMG IT WAS HEAVEN 😭😭😭😭 If you go there, don't eat anything all day till your reservation is so you can try everything!
i wont anything for 3 days
Coach Kent at least drink water or else you will actually die
That would actually be a mistake because your stomach shrinks when you don't eat... the more you eat the more your stomach expands to accommodate the food.... eat at least 4 hours before undertaking such a feast.
I'm fasting now (14.30 hours) and when I do break my fast I can barely eat anything because my stomach fills up really quickly, even something as simple as a glass of water and an apple is quite filling.
