White Lies newbie here, belatedly but totally obsessed with their catalog but especially this song. As another poster mentions below, there's a Russian fan-made video for it which is madly professional and captures the message just beautifully. Can't wait for the next time they're able to grace us with their presence in the U.S.

tbh i'm happy with that - i'm not a fan of "Ritual" and apparently they find it their weakest album as well. on the other hand, "Big TV" is an absolute masterpiece and all of their later albums are quite amazing
@@lunajka To be honest I think Big TV and Friends are probably their Weekest albums overall but both have what I consider some of my favourite White Lies songs so....But yeah I think their first two are their best...Really like FIVE and can't stop listening to their new album it's brilliant.
@@TheJamie6666 really? i'd say that apart from "To lose my life" (i feel like it shouldn't even be a part of the competition since the vast majority of WL fans consider it their best work) "Big TV" and "Friends" are my favourite hahah. tbh not sure why but i'm not a huge fan of "Five" but on the other hand, it has "Tokyo" and "Time to give", one of their best songs imo. and yeah "As I try not to fall apart" is awesome (i really appreciate the lyrics tackling mental issues on this one), apart from "Ragworm" i'd say that i enjoy every single song from the album. i went to their concert in may and was a bit gutted that they didn't play "Roll december", the ending would have been amazing live.
