As a Bell & Ross aficionado, I appreciate your taking time to share their appeal with the world. My BR01-94 Orange is classic Bell & Ross design. It generates compliments from admirers regularly.
I've handled these and they look incredible in the flesh. Thing about Bell & Ross designs are that they aren't mass appealing. They are so iconic in their design that, as others have said, makes them an acquired taste. I, for one, love what they are doing, even if they fall above my price point. As for their pricing, most of their clients aren't exactly looking for the 'value' purchase. They're looking for something completely different, which is exactly what the brand offers. Plus, while their entry level pieces offer Sellita calibers, they do have models with Kenissi, as well as manufacture movements on their ultra high-end pieces. It's still a young brand and could take a while before being properly understood. They've got a lot of work to do till then.
I pretty like the ceramic non-skeleton version. In my opinion the case and bracelet are finished to almost RO level , which is probably the best among all ceramic watches.
Square watches is a like it or leave it design. I am on the leave it side. Thought i do like their BR V2 Chrono round watches, but can justify buying a B & R over an Omega Speedmaster.
Different type of watch for different people I suppose. It's not like the PO and this B&R are similar enough that you would have a touch choice. They're totally different serving very different audiences, in my opinion.
I don’t disagree that the Speedmaster is a more appealing option in general, but it’s so dramatically different that it’s a little crazy to suggest that. That’s like saying oh you want a blue shirt get a green one instead. They’re not targeting the same audience.
Compared to what? With maybe a few exceptions pretty much every watch in the roughly $10k and up range “seems” overpriced doesn’t it? Luxury watches aren’t value propositions.
I was just looking at the Seiko SilverWave 2628 and was reminded of "cockpit" style watches which b&r made into a whole brand. Very overrated and gimmicky. Like a baby RM.
Why so under appreciated ? Because its disgustingly overpriced and the design is mediocre, that's why. You're not going to convince anyone with that video 🤨
What watches that cost around $10,000 end up aren’t perceived as overprice? Maybe there’s a few exceptions but buying large luxury watches aren’t value propositions are they?

Well said thanks for sharing your perspective on that and thanks for watching.
I love the Bones Brigade decks. Reminds me of my own Tony Hawk skate boards back in the day.
I’ve just got a tony hawk reissue deck I need to put up soon!
I don’t have a B&R, or where they are on my wish list. But I have seen them in person and tried some on & they wear and look amazing.
I own two B&Rs neither of which are square: the Garden Cotes V2-92 and the BR V2-94 Racing Bird. Both are gorgeous and unlike anything else out there.

I love squares, from Gshock to the Cartier Tank, they are awesome in my opinion.
Now a bell and ross and misfits collaboration would definitely be take my money
For that kind of money, who wouldn’t buy a Planet Ocean GMT?

Black pvd on the buckle is a no go for me: scratches !
I have had watches with pvd that have held up really well. It’s a good finish in my experience.
Gorgeous watch. A bit pricey. But service cost will be fine with the SW movement. Cheers.
Get a Speedmaster for that price. And a nice dinner and drinks

@@JustBlueFish Fair enough, get a Seamaster then 👍
In general they just seem overpriced.

Skeletonized watches are fugly and self-indulgent. They are not worthy.

'cause lack of accuracy, little warranty, technical data u may find elsewhere cheaper.
Sorry but that watch is hideous!!
I kinda like it.
Gotta see it in person. I saw the gold green and blue skeleton versions and they look much better in person
Why so under appreciated ? Because its disgustingly overpriced and the design is mediocre, that's why.
You're not going to convince anyone with that video 🤨
Not sure I’d say I was trying to convince anyone of anything, just asking the question and sharing a watch that I’ve never had on the channel.
Overpriced, and French lol
