    When I lived in the south of germany, I used to order this every time at the restaurant. So happy right now ,that you made a video about it. It is a fantastic dish.
    And please make the video for the salad!!

    My favorite German dish. I made it tonight for dinner in fact. I've never added cream to mine. Is that what makes it Swabian style?
    Also, i dredge in seasoned flour.
    I served it with rotkohl

    Why not brown beef, then make a roux with the beef fat before doing mushrooms etc? Seems like a harder rou to make the way you did it
