SidePower Thruster Controller Replacement

Replacing a SidePower thruster controller. Our old boat side thruster controller started acting up on us so we troubleshoot the issue and find we need to replace it. The new product made by Sliepner was purchased for $500 and installed.

I've got a remote for the side power that is very handy.
It also handles the windlasses.
Makes you look like a pro! 😊

Hi Tom Another good one.
I did the same a few years ago but opted for the two toggle levers instead of the mini-boat. I was a bit lucky to have the boat come with the wireless remote which allows me or the admiral greater flexibility when docking..

I’d love to have the wireless but hard to justify the cost. I didn’t want the toggle levers as I’m always leaning over the helm and I was afraid of snapping them off.

Keep those corner covers. They come up missing sometimes and are nearly impossible to find sold individually. Great swap out.
I lost a couple corners on my autopilot. Had a friend that did 3D printing as a hobby. He made me a few and I advertised in the boat world having them. I sent a set over to Sweden for a guy.

Our 341's really need the stern thrusters too. Gigantic sail area especially with bridge glass curtains and props that are in semi tunnels.
