    One the best trouble-shooting videos I've ever seen. It made us find a faulty thermo switch. We were so close to buy a electronic interface until we found this. Well done!

    Hi there! love the video and I want to test my joystick with the jumper example you show at 4:37 but I'm confused because the picture showing the red, blue, grey and black is not the same direction when you do the jump from red to blue. can you confirm? thanks!

    My thruster is making a high pitched whining noise intermittently when using it in either direction. Seems to come and go but be there more often than not. It still works but it has never made this sound in 5 years of ownership. I’m not sure what to do if I should just buy another unit and swap the entire thing out. Please advise.

    Outstanding info. What I didn't hear is anything about an over charge indication. The yellow and green lights on my converter/ charger are cycling (which from the manual indicates an over charge status). Why would this cause the thrusters to not even turn on?

    Fantastic video, but sadly i dont find a solution to my issue:
    I have a recent issue with my Stern/bow Side-power/Sleipner system.
    It went from working flawless, to not working.
    Scenario:
    When we used our bow truster, it kept running, and we could not stop it.
    Only way to stop it is by, disconnecting the "control relay #6 1229" or turning off main switch.
    Troubleshooting:
    After this situation, there was a smell of burned electronic.
    The 2x dual-joysticks cant be enabled(gets 24vdc)
    The motor solenoid "DC182-662L" we can only manual enable one way, the other do nothing, but draws a lot of amps(sparking)
    *(this is ground controlled)
    *Motor sounds fine this one way
    Now when troubleshooting, we cant add "control relay #6 1229", then motor starts running.
    The "control relay #6 1229" enables both left/right run at same time(both outputs enable) for solenoid.
    For me it sounds like the "control relay #6 1229" for sure, but also the part of motor solenoid only running one way, is not ideal.
    Could Control relay have killed solenoid at its fall?
    Also i tried changing control relay from stern to bow, but these are not the same relays:
    Bow "control relay #6 1229"
    Stern ""control relay #6 1232i"
    Brg.

    Any advice regarding bow thruster fade?

    • @imtramarineproducts
      @imtramarineproducts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Curious what you mean by fade? Not running at full power when held on for an extended period of time, or losing its overall power throughout the years? If the former, it would likely be related to battery power/voltage. If the latter, it could be worn carbon brushes within the motor, which wear down over time and can be replaced.

    What should you check if you are blowing the fuse in one direction?

    • @imtramarineproducts
      @imtramarineproducts  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This indicates increased resistance in that direction. Please reach out to Imtra customer service so we can assist you in confirming the source of the problem. Give us a call at 508-995-7000

    What about when sidepower se80 works with constant clicks in both direction and these clicks are followed by blinking light on the control panel in the same rhythm as the clicks. (Let's say 3 in a second). I have huge nee battery and new solenoid and distributor. Thanks!

      Did you ever get a fix for that? I have the same problem solenoid constant rapid clicking when using joystick and even jumping it.
      New solenoid did not fix, I suspect its the relay(IPC control box)?
