I am so impressed to know someone is really serious farming this bird. I started with a couple of pheasants 2 months ago (in Indonesia a pheasant is quite expensive, especially lady amherst) your video encourages a lot, thank you.
The crooked neck is called wry neck and it’s usually a vitamin or mineral deficiency. I’ve had ducks and chickens come out of the incubator like that and if you give them fresh oregano ground up on some feed or just get it down their throats it’ll bring em out of it. It can take a few days to a few weeks but that bird there would be running around like nothing ever happened in 4 or 5 days.
I’m gonna get into raising pheasants again in the next year. I never raised em in that scale but I raised a good many of em. I had to let everything go 7 years ago when I got injured and spent the next year in a recliner. It’s time to get back to living now.
Amazing! So large farm! Thank you for your sharing. We bred a kind of Asia pheasant in the past, they fought, pecked and ate others’ meat; experienced people said just give a little salt water, then would be fine, and give minerals and Vitamins is helpful to grow up and increase eggs quantities & quality. Looking forward to your next video, farming and hunting.👍
Good evening Jordan, always good on the Pheasant farm you put Blinders on. In the UK it's just a pecking bit. White pheasant albino or Hybrid, a genetic mutation whereby it's feathers can't make colour. l have one at home which I shot on a shoot day at Elsham Hall and had it Mounted . Good on the pigeon trapping. Some more butchery please, or a tour round your farm yard .We love Winston the Tank!! Take care all of you, Ann and Malc U K (England) xxx
We used to put bits in there mouths to stop them pecking each other,it's just a little plastic split ring each end of the split goes in the nostril and through the mouth and into the other nostril it stops them closing there beeks which stops them pulling the feather's of other birds
Take me pigeon huntingggg I'm jealous that you have so much property to hunt i just moved to central Kansas for schooling living in the dorms and I have nothing
In the UK we farm millions and millions of pheasants a year for shooting and I have never ever heard of a game farm using these blinders, sometimes nose rings. Are these going to be released to be shot?
I like a lot farming and.als etc etc I dont have any thing but insha allah if I get some amount then I will invest coz I love this work.. From India 🇮🇳
Dear sir, Can you please tell us the plant in your peasant compound. And also let me know the composition of fodder to the peasants. Best Regards Ka-Farm
How you put up with pheasant is a mystery to me. They can be *so stupid* . When my mother raised them they would drown in the rain! They would look up during the rain and drown themselves. They also drown themselves in their water bowls too.
I am helping my brother blinder-up his pheasants tomorrow at his farm in Johnstown Colorado. I think he has about 2000 or so. Wasn't sure if all of them get blinders or just the males? How long does it take to do this?
I am a Moroccan young man. Patient, enthusiastic, active, dynamic, I love work and love to work permanently. I am married and have two children. I am looking for work for my small family.

Thanks for the info!
Glad to hear that your ready to get back out and raise some birds!
its a vitamin e deficiency. it can be cured by feeding one capsules worth of liquid vit e into their mouth for about 2 or 3 weeks.
It's so interesting . I live in Viet Nam, i am breeding pheasant too. Your farm is large with many modern equipments. Congratulations and good luck
Thanks Jordan, awesome video. I also have done this in my own pheasants. But on a much smaller scale. Keep up the awesome work dude.
Thanks for the kind words!

Pheasant vs Quail? Which is better for raising in your opinion?
That’s one hell of a enclosure
For sure!
Very nice 👍🏻

wow.... many birds man.
I don’t own a bird or eat them but they make good friends and in the wild. What a beautiful name it is!!
I am the king of England and I’m saying that.
You might have an buff ringneck pheasant what you said about the yellow/blonde color. Wich is a very rare mutation.
Pheasants taste good and look pretty

Hi love your vids
Take me pigeon huntingggg I'm jealous that you have so much property to hunt i just moved to central Kansas for schooling living in the dorms and I have nothing
I’m very fortunate to have so many options for sure!
I have pheasants baby. Hatched by hen . What should i fee them?
High protein chick starter!
@@JordansHarvest thanks
You and Bob should get some of those pheasants and let them go and have Fred find them. Shoot and cook episode.
Good idea!

Yeah these will be released to be shot
Great video bro.👍👍👍
Thanks!
What age are the pheasant poults in the video that you're putting the blinders on?
I believe 4 weeks
May I ask what you have the pigeons for?
I had braces as a kid they said that wouldn't hurt
I like a lot farming and.als etc etc I dont have any thing but insha allah if I get some amount then I will invest coz I love this work..
From India 🇮🇳
Do you want import from nepal? can help you.
More pigeon video pls 🙏
They need those!
how do they catch them in the big pens
Very nice good
Do y’all sell pheasant eggs? I’m interested in purchasing some
We don’t, sorry
Is it okay to put blinders on pheasants when they are mature?
I believe so. I can’t say from experience though
When do pheasants start laying??
I’m honestly not sure!
@@JordansHarvest ,20 weeks old.. Found out from a breeder.. I've had chickens, ducks, turkeys, even pigs.. My 1st year raising pheasants..
Good ✅
Ok, I know it’s late but I have a question... I have feral pigeons myself and have been selling some of them. How much do you sell your ferals for?
I get $4 for them
Ohhhh. Well I’ve been selling a group of 5 for $25 about every month. Pigeons are getting hard to come by down here in southern Iowa..
What netting is Over the top of the cage?
what did you do with the pigeons?
Do it goes in both the hen and roosters
Dear sir,
Can you please tell us the plant in your peasant compound. And also let me know the composition of fodder to the peasants.

Why he puts blinders on them
Helps keep them from fighting
Thanks Partner no i gotta take em to the trapper for some fancy stuff
Is this the farm passing ingalls coming in to garden by any chance?
Nope. This one is closer to Wichita
what's the blinder for ?and at what age this must be done ?
Normally a couple weeks old and it's to stop them fighting
Are the pheasants raised for eating? Or to be released for hunting?
Most of them are sold to outfitters
@@JordansHarvest sty connected 🛎👉🛎🛎👈❤❤❤❤❤🤝🤝🤝🤝👍👍👍
Please more about pigeon videos
Will do!
How many weeks old are the pheasants when you put the blinders on?
I think they are 5 weeks
@@JordansHarvest U live the blinders for ever to the pheasant or u change the blinders size when the pheasant grows up?
What are the dimensions of those pheasant runs?
I know I said in a previous video. But I think they are 50x150
what's that thing (blinder or something) for?
To stop them from pecking eachother, basically they can't see straight with them on but they can see left to right
What’s the price per eggs now and where to buy? Could u able to help
I really don’t know
Chăn nuôi giỏi quá bạn ơi
What you do with those wild pigeons
I sell most of them
How much do you sell them? How can i buy from you
What is that green thing on their noses for
It helps keep them from fighting!
Oh, ok
The pheasant chick with the crooked neck was probably born that way. Could be genetic or just a one off.
Very possible!!!
Love it.
What does he raise the pheasants for. Is it for releasing them in WMAs?
Most are sold to “guided hunts”
Xterm crual
How old are the birds your putting blinders on just curious
Just dont. Itd cruel. Give them D
SPACE, so they wont need to fight.. SO GLAD THESE ATROCITIES ARE ILLEGAL IN THE EU!
Why do you put blinders on?
It helps keep them from fighting so much
How you put up with pheasant is a mystery to me. They can be *so stupid* . When my mother raised them they would drown in the rain! They would look up during the rain and drown themselves. They also drown themselves in their water bowls too.
Do they only go on the males
The group is 80% males, so for the most part they go on males
Let's go one of the first people watching ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank what I’m talking about!!!
I want to buy a pair how do I order
Just wondering , do you guys sell Extra ring pheasant? If so I want to buy . Please let me know .

He puts blinders on everything except the smallest ones.
He normally has 4-6 people helping put them on. It goes pretty quick once you have a system
Do like EU: dont practice cruelty as a commodity, rathrr give your birds more space
I am a Moroccan young man. Patient, enthusiastic, active, dynamic, I love work and love to work permanently. I am married and have two children. I am looking for work for my small family.
For the age of five months
Will you have to remove the blinders? If so, How old will they be?
I’ll have to check into that!
Most of them we do, every once in a while we get a buyer that still wants them on. We take them off when we catch them to put them in crates to sell.
Thanks for the reply. Didn't know it they outgrow them and they fall off
I don)t know what happened ,but I have not been getting your videos when you have been posting them anymore ?
I try to post every 3 days!
That crooked necked bird has wry neck! You should try to catch them and treat them, its not too hard to treat and can save 'em!
I’ll let him know! Thanks!
Does he have a TH-cam channel?
He doesn’t. But I try to fill the gap for him
