Great tips. It’s so easy to not buy that near to perfect pair of trousers, but having it altered is so worth it! I will definitely keep this in mind when I find something I truly love, but needs some alteration, because that final step might turn the garment into my favorite!
I almost always have to take in shoulder seams, or add shoulder darts, to everything. The shoulders are always too wide and the front too low-cut. I can’t size down much, because I have a larger bust and won’t wear anything straining or gapping across it. I also have to shorten every pair of trousers, up to 9” in some cases; they’re made ridiculously long, for women 6 feet and over. Shortening this much ruins the shape of all except straight styles, the flare or taper, etc., is cut off and the knee break is too low. Petites are usually too short in the rise, though, so I look for regular cuts available in short leg sizing. I do most of my own tailoring, where I live, it’s not widely available, it’s extremely expensive and the waiting time can be 3 to 6 months. Having the shoulders narrowed, and shortening the sleeves, of a lined blazer is at least $200, it’s a lot of work and doubles, or nearly doubles, the item cost. But I don’t like blazers that won’t button over my chest; if it’s cold enough for a blazer, I need to keep my front warm.
Yes, there are many brands that sell pants according to length which is definitely helpful. But, in case the pants you love don't come in various lengths I recommend having them tailored.
Why does everyone who do these videos look so tall to me? I’m 5’6 and I always think they’re all my height, never shorter but thinking about that right now is kind of weird being I have a 5’1 daughter, apparently I think she is the only short girl . Lol!

That's great that you can do your own tailoring what an amazing skill to have!
There are places that sell pants in short, regular, tall. Like express, American Eagle, gap, and lots of other places
You can also buy minimizing bra that makes ur boobs smaller. They are the pricier bras usually but you can find them on sale. Belk has some I believe

Yes, minimizing bras can definitely be helpful as long as they feel comfortable!
