It's like a muscle, in the scrim you're flexing it, but the talks after is the resting of the muscle where it builds up in strength. If your post-scrim talks are compromised in any way you will learn nothing and improve nowhere. With the Heczquarters going away as well it will really add to the post-scrim and match talks. I know Bruce liked it better there and it was closer, but it had to be a small factor in their stagnation because it affects these talks where you talk about what went right, what went wrong, and you see the passion in each other's faces, or if it's truly chalked. A likelihood is Optic probably frequently skipped, or didn't take these talks seriously.

What excites me is the passion Pred has for joining the team. You could see it in the way he talks, he loves this opportunity and is going to give it his all.
OpTic always go for slaying power? llley was slaying power? and even though Ghosty was a good slayer in Challengers they didn't pick him up for that reason at all. Also this offseason shows that every top team 1st choice is more slaying power, Faze got Drazah for pace and slaying on a flex, Ultra upgrading Hicksy for Envoy who is much more consistent and better at slaying and Hell even the reigning Champs literally just dropped a selfless winner to get a player that is mostly known for his slaying ability.

The thing with the OpTic argument of them making more changes this off-season than the other teams, is that Subliners although making one change, it is a crucial change because unlike FaZe or Toronto, Subliners' success arguably comes down to Hydra. If Hydra is not in New York, this one team change would be massive. Because Hydra is Hydra, people don't seem to acknowledge Priestahh's role in the team and how important he was for their cukture and chemistry. But they don't have near the same skilled players as the rest of the top teams. If the chemistry and teamwork fails? New York can fall to Top6 easily. At the end of the day the top teams are the top teams for a reason. But ultimately, chemistry and teamwork is what is going to separate them from each other. If OpTic allow Kenny to take lead and consider his mind and work ethic, they can win an event or two. But all these four team can easily claim Champs this season. The league is top heavy on paper currently, but it is becoming a fun and entertaining season to be.

I've always not really liked Ben but what Ben said about how Ian/Damon grounding Optic in Bo3 and IW he is spot on, besides including Formal in IW. Those 2/3 were insanely good at being humble and making sure they always got better.
One thing with faze people aren’t talking about is they’re adding draz and changing cell. People think cell should be there but we’ll see what that does to the team overall. Could reach higher highs or lower lows as well

Good show again, one idea for an off season show would be one based off predictions for the entire season, like who will win majors, how many, how wins what awards etc
honestly, I think OpTic just needed Pred and keep Dan. If the take Dashy had on Dan was true, I think that can be fixed. Dan was clearly their best player at champs. Sad to say, though Huke was great, he never was able to get out of his slump and kinda made some questionable plays later during the season. Hate it had to be him man smh. Pred is def an upgrade as he is way more consistent and I mean come on, it's Pred. I still do think they have the talent to be the top team as they are usually Faze's kryptonite, atleast as of late, but it will all come down to discipline. Hopefully they have matured and Ken can help that.

I've always not really liked Ben but what Ben said about how Ian/Damon grounding Optic in Bo3 and IW he is spot on, besides including Formal in IW. Those 2/3 were insanely good at being humble and making sure they always got better.

I think the fact that Optic either let Dan go or Pushed him out is such a bad sign. He was only getting better throughout the year and he the best performance on the team at champs last year. I like Kenny, but Dan is just a WAY better leader and player.

honestly, I think OpTic just needed Pred and keep Dan. If the take Dashy had on Dan was true, I think that can be fixed. Dan was clearly their best player at champs. Sad to say, though Huke was great, he never was able to get out of his slump and kinda made some questionable plays later during the season. Hate it had to be him man smh. Pred is def an upgrade as he is way more consistent and I mean come on, it's Pred. I still do think they have the talent to be the top team as they are usually Faze's kryptonite, atleast as of late, but it will all come down to discipline. Hopefully they have matured and Ken can help that.
