A swan will defend itself by breaking the suspension control arms on a car.
killing a swan could amount to theft and injuring them could amount to criminal damage (both these offences committed against swans have been successfully prosecuted in recent years).

Most people don't realise the pressure it puts your undertray under either. The one near me is littered with bits of plastic as cars have blown out under trays driving through fast.
