Another video so worth watching. Clear, simple, instruction. Thanks from a former nursery worker who needs validation sometimes ❤ your videos are always useful and I have started collecting some plants your videos have brought to my attention. Some I already have, all in containers. Zone 8b Charleston SC USA.
This channel just gets better and better 💋🌱 thanks Rosy 🌱 I’ve just potted up 25 well rooted phlox cuttings - so exciting x 💯 percent recommend the propagation class x learnt loads 💋
Currently working through the propagation course at the moment, it’s fantastic! Best I’ve seen, and I’ve tried a few! Thanks Rosy, great videos as always 🤩👍🌱
In gardening you need the knowledge of which month is best for propagating and just remember this is a leading UK grower so her information is geared towards the UK growing season. In other parts of the world you'd have to adjust the time of year to that which matches our UK weather.
Hello Rosie, I would love to enroll in your propagation program. However I have a few questions : - once one has subscribed to the program, is it available « for ever » since sadly I do not have a garden of my own - is there a list of required equipment available since I prefer buying second hand - finally it appears to my uneducated eye that the majority of propagation is done over the summer when I am away a lot. Am I wrong about this ? I always look forward to your videos, a world of generosity and beauty.
Hi :) Thank you for your questions, - the course is available all year round and access is ongoing from purchase - yes we give links to everything recommended (mainly via Amazon to make it easier) - there is a large amount of propagation that also be done in Spring & Autumn/Fall and we provide a list of plants with the months they are normally done (in the Northern Hemisphere)
Hi Rosy Great video on semi Ripe cuttings...thank you. I have a question about your grasses video & have emailed you but have had no reply as of yet. What's the best way to contact you please? Clare
Hi Clare, To email a question for Rosy the best place to send is to info@rosyhardygardening.com I couldn't locate your email so if you resend I will put it towards the next Q&A Many thanks
If you mean the course yes its accessible from anywhere, if you mean these plant varieties shown we cant be entirely sure but these are very common plants and shrubs
Hi Rosy, which plant would you recommend to putnext to a Hydrangea Arborescens White Dome (Daredom). If possible a high (= vertical) plant as high as the hydrangea (3 to 6 feet)? Thank you 🙏
We hope you enjoy this video :)

Spread the knowledge😊
Love these prompts to get out and increase the plants in my garden for free, leaving my limited budget for some new rarer plants 👍🏼😀

What is it called and the purpose of cutting across leaves? And when to do it?
Reducing the leaf surface reduces water loss so aiding the cutting to not become too limp
@rosyhardy18 thanks. Im early into your course so I will probably learn more about it soon.

You can use grasses as vertical height or Sanguisorba
