Hi Rosy. It's very generous that you take the time to go in great detail with the plants. I'm sure I'm not alone when saying how useful it is to have you showing these plants so people can make informed choices and at the same time discovering plants we never knew existed. Thank you. X

I particularly love your dead heading advice. Really helpful. I would love to know more about the differences between different hybrids re colours and flouring periods.

I love seeing you demonstrate how to prune..I watched your lavender video which gave me the courage to be more brutal with the snips! This year the lavender looks amazing! Ive just had a go at revitalising my heuchera too, after watching your videos. I'm happy to buy them again now I know how to make them last. Thank you, Rosie.

Thank you very much Rosy. I’ve deadheaded my ‘Scarlet Tempest’ and ‘Totally Tangerine’ Geumms incorrectly after all those years 😅 your video is very helpful indeed.

@@vicstee482 I’ve fed them with liquid seaweed and deadheaded only the tatty flowers not the whole stems, that probably explained why my Geums don’t produce many flowers as I expected. 🥹

Hi Rosy, love you video's. I bought four Mrs J Bradshaw geum's in nine cm pots for ten euro seven week's ago and planted them in the garden beds. They are growing well in my mulched soil. The slugs and snails have not touched them. Hopefully they flower this summer and if they don't there is alway's next year.

Great video, wonderfully clear and concise. I wonder if you would consider doing a similar compare and contrast for potentilla?

Thanks for this video. I just saw Geums in our local nursery yesterday, was wondering if I should get some. Now I know they are worth to have.

Although it is kind of said in the video, it's not very clear. All geums are for moist soils, and prefer semi-shade. Rivale even performs in full shade. Triflorum on the other hand is for full sun and dry soils.

Excellent & informative tutorial, thank you. I started a cottage garden at the front of my house when I moved two years ago & my germs are looking great. As I live in Salisbury, not far from your nursery, I will be making a trip to Hardy’s Cottage Garden Plants.

Fantastic information! Have started from seed ‘Red Dragon’ and ‘Lady Strathen’. Only have little rosette clumps of health foliage so far…

I'd be interested in growing prairie smoke. It's native to my area. I saw it up in the mountains and the seed heads were indeed spectacular.

Excellent information thanks! Sadly though, my geums have to be kept in wire cages as they are magnets for possums here in Australia. And rabbits and kangaroos.

They're a favourite for Bees and not poisonous to cats and dogs.

Great information. I bought seeds for a totally tangerine Geum but in your video you say they are totally sterile. Does that mean the seeds that I have will not produce anything . I can’t even get them to germinate. Thanks for your help 😊

That is extremely helpful, thank you. I have recently fallen in love with Geums! can I ask if the sterile hybrids are still good for pollinators?

Hi Rosy, first of all thanks for making videos full of information. I have Geum totally tangerine planted early this spring in sunny spot. We are on hill and soil is sandy. Which is not great combination. In this heat it is completely drying off. Does it perform in part shade if I move it?
