This woman is a good interviewer. She eases into questions well, doesn't just say, "oh ok." Good questions and she asked things that make the person getting interviewed talk. I never watched this channel before but I'm definitely doing it now.

I definitely agree! She is so entertaining! However, she should do a show that is more authentic to her life currently rather than try out another talk show. I watched through her former talk show and I could tell that she was really trying to be someone who she wasn’t. If she does something more similar to her podcasts, then it would be great!

If you want to talk about friend jumping?? Carol is a MAJOR friend jumper!!! And I agree, she would butt into conversations that had NOTHING to do with her. I think she just watched some of the earlier seasons and realised that she was BORING!!! Then she just turned into a total MEAN GIRL!!!
It took me a long time to really warm up to Bethany but I'm there. Interviews like this are definitely a factor in earning my respect but what really put her on my list of people I believe to be real and not just a personality "put on" for tv, is what she did and continues to do for the people of Puerto Rico. She will have my respect forever for that. And also, I really truly like her now! She's rather inspirational in the way she has dealt with adversity and keeps on going.
It is just a new plot twist, love them both and I am sure it will work it's way back around. Hopefully stronger for it.
I think a lot of the messiness from her on the show comes from knowing what the producers wants and giving it to them ten fold. Reality tv is never indicative of who a person really is as a person. I've warmed up to her, still not her biggest fan, but I do enjoy her wit. It makes RHONY so much more funny to watch.

Have come to love Bethany over the years. She is so real. Wish only good for her. Hope life runs a little smoother for her. She does not deserves the troubles she has been through.
SHE'S VERY INTELLIGENT. UNLIKE MOST OF THE CAST, SHE TOOK THE ADVANTAGE OF BEING ON THAT SHOW TO CONSTRUCT A SUCCESSFUL MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR COMPANY.

I have loved watching B evolve from season one until now. She has so much more confidence...that girl MADE IT. She took a reality show that a lot of people ridiculed and used it as a platform to build an empire. Most of the women do the opposite...they want to be famous and THEN decide to promote some BS handbag line or skincare line. B is the real thing. Plus I’m fluent in snark and sarcasm so she makes me laugh...the show sucked without her. I had a difficult childhood so I also relate to that. I am so glad she has Bryn; my son made my childhood worth it.
What I love about bethenny is her heart always seems to be in the right place, she never forgets where she comes from, she’s articulate as hell and whether she’s wearing sweats or an evening gown she treats everyone from the wait staff to princess Kate with respect and kindness. A beautiful human being.

Bethenny cannot be friends with anyone the minute they start having a voice of their own. She sucks the life out of every room she steps into. She completely emasculated her first husband. In the beginning Carol did all of the listening and Bethenny did all of the talking, the moment Carol started standing out and standing up for herself, Bethenny lost interest.

I know it's easy to accuse Bethenny of being the wrong one here but have you seen the first two episodes? Carole is much different and coming from a mean girl angle. I think Carole changed and Bethenny was blindsided. Maybe Carole figured out how boring she is and tried to spice it up but the last person that tried this on Bethenny was Ramona and before that Jill Zarin...B keeps her receipts, her pitbull will eat Carole's chihuahua. 😂

It's deeper than your put Carole in "boring" box. Bethenny took Carole on various holidays after their first season together but when the dynamic changed with Tinsley on the show Bethenny true mean girl came out and that's not always captured on TV. Carole went on holiday with Tinsley after the show was wrapped so Bethenny went around creating a negative narrative about Carole . But NYC is a small place a lot of people have respect for Carole so if you bitch about her and mainly lies, they'll come back to you in a broken friendship.

Bethenny can't get along with people because she's always calling them out and unloading on them. It's funny that she thinks people dislike her just because they're jealous when she clearly gives them other reasons to dislike her. Bethenny wears her emotions on her sleeve & she’s got a lot of deep rooted issues that’ve been surfacing throughout her 10 seasons. She’s got trust issues & isn’t going to let anyone in easily. But she’s been working through it all & has tremendous pressure in many facets of her life; add to that, being followed by cameras. It’s a lot. You can tell she has a good heart & wants to do the right thing but she lashes out easily & now cries a lot showing how vulnerable she is. She’s always honest & certainly opinionated but at the same time you know what you’re getting; always authentic. If she could learn how to contain herself a bit & count to 10 before speaking she’d get a lot farther; like she needs to “take a Xanax” when filming😂

She comes across guilty on the Carole situation. Especially minimising the friendship as less than her "30 years" friendships, which just shows her lack of emotional intelligence. Knowing someone for 30 years or 3 years doesnt define the quality of the friendship & everyone knows she was so desperate to be Carole BFF & for awhile it worked. She took Carole on holiday after her first season. 3 holidays! She spent so much time with Carole they have sleepovers she would always talk about being best friends. Then when Tinsley joined and obvious Bethenny was not comfortable in the changing dynamics and then when Carole chose to holiday with Tinsley after the show, Bethenny's immature narcisstic behaviour kicked in (can't be friends has to possess).

P B I agree with you. Bethenny targeted Carole from the moment she rejoined the cast; Carole dumped Heather as her BFF and she and Bethenny were immaturely inseparable. There are countless snap chat videos of the two of them at Bethenny’s Hamptons house. Sometimes long term friends may not actually have your back and new friends love you to bits so Bethenny’s stupid friendship rationale doesn’t make sense. She’s fallen out with Carole or become jealous of her friendship with Tinsley and has thrown her toys out of the pram.
To sum it up in a few words, Bethany is a control freak!

Bethenny has a charitable spirit but man does she love to play the victim. A lil humility wouldn’t hurt either.
She grew up in an abusive household with two piece of shit parents. I don't think she intentionally tries to play that card.
But it’s all she ever talks about. Even when she got divorced, she kept crying about being homeless as she moved from one luxury hotel to the next. She always sees herself as a victim in her personal life.

The dynamic between Carole and Bethenney changed and trust it - it's Bethenney's doing. Even her quote here about she's had friends for many many years. That's meant to be a vindictive dig to hurt Carole.
Also, age shaming Carole, talking nasty behind her back, and saying that her friendship w/ Carole was not "30 years in the making" is horrible. Then, Bethany wants to know why Carole is not so chummy? Why such a disconnect from reality? What if the shoe was on the other foot? Doesn't Bethany have any self awareness? Carole was really, really hurt and has moved on. Who can blame her!

I love Bethany! She’s a strong woman who is very successful in business and often shows that behind her tough exterior she is very vulnerable. She seems to be very genuine.
So she has friendships for 30 yrs. (of course she says they are solid). The ONLY thing RISKY is her egomaniacal personality. If you think the rest of the cast likes her, youre delusional. Shes a tough piece of gristle.
