Great video and I really like how you're explaining principles. But I argue with the examples of the last principle. It is true that digital marketing platforms are much more measurable than any other traditional platforms/channels but measuring their effect on the other channels are challenging. For example a Twitter campaign can support a Facebook campaign very well. Cross-platform measurement is not solved. So it requires a very comprehensive analysis if you want to cut off your underperforming 80% because the cross-platform effect may result more than 20% loss.
Hey Daniel! Yes great insight. Cross platform measurement is tricky. We do have some tools and software available now that makes it a bit easier though - and they're getting better.
Still, simplicity always wins, which is why the more challenging it is to do something the less likely someone will be able/willing to do it.
Can you please name some tools or softwares that you've found effective?
I can't argue about simplicity. I tend to get things too complicated sometimes. :)
@@danielvillanyi4198 for cross platform attribution the gold standard is wicked reports, but Alex Becker's company "Hyros" also appears to have some great things going for it.

When you started talking about alignment you mentioned "Market-Message-Media-Match", but you never talked about Match. What is "Match" about?

2.) Educational Based Marketing - I teach screenwriting. The main problem I have with this is that there are so many aspects that go into screenwriting. Much like with marketing and what you said at the beginning of the video...it gets overwhelming with so much information out there these days. So my question, is there a certain aspect of your field you should lean towards when choosing a certain topic within your field? Should you try to cover all of it?
