Spinners or conventionals (baitcasters). I use mine for Carolina Rigs & light shoreline jigging 1/2-1oz asymmetrical jigs. Like a cheaper version of Okuma's SST or Guide Select Pro line, just inexpensive.
@@ScubaChris thanks, I'm stuck between ordering the Okuma celilo salmon/steelhead rods, ones a 8'6" MHa, and the other is a 9'6" MLa. I primarily want the one that's gonna be best for spoons. I really like jigging for trout with my 7' light rod, I'm wondering if the 9'6" would work well for that too.
@@Alex-wi2vf Spoons go with the 8"6"MH. Or spend a few bucks more and get the SST 8'6"-9'9" in MH or H. Still under $100 w/free shipping from Amazon. Never had any issues w/SST's. A much cheaper version of Guide Select Pro's. And i've had several GSP break on me already (probably because i use them the most).
love to learn from you Chris 🤙🏼
I appreciate that!
Great breakdown on the 9"6" ...just about sold me. Gonna look to see if you've used it yet, to see it's action.
Tested it at the park to see the range. Looks good! Didn't want to bring it down to the field latter just to find out i guessed the weights wrong.
Nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
Is this rod primarily for spinners and spoons, or jigs?
