One your a women, from my experience a women don’t look at only their objective beauty when saying shit like that, they look at all the little traits they like about women then say their beautiful, that or they lie. The base of our personality is formed within the first five years of our lives. we are unaware and unconcerned with our physical desirability at that point. This is factual. There are women who for some reason or another develop low self-esteem during these crucial developmental first five years. Agreed I don't wear much make up because I don't have much of a purpose for it. It makes more sense to wash your face and only dress up in settings that requires you to look that way. It’s called the Halo effect, because someone is pretty people naturally assume they are good or have more wisdom then they actually do, a lot of women fall under this trap which is why it’s a big sterotype because a lot of people like that exist and no one really cares. That’s just for women, for men it’s a whole other story.
There is no such thing as a "plain Jane", beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Outward beauty is only one factor of attraction, a person could be physically beautiful on the outside but have an ugly personality and it will be a turn off for many. Love who you love and don't worry about what society thinks about your partner's attractiveness

I know when I was single and dating I did have a lot of men claim to feel intimidated by the attention I would get. and admitted to being worried that they wouldn’t be able to measure up in someway, that I was smarter than them or that there was going to be a better guy that came along. I absolutely do think it’s insecurity thing. It does take a strong man to be with a vibrant woman and not feel threatened by her.
In some cases, the plain Jane women are less threatening. Because she’s not used to a lot of attention she will be more grateful for the man to be with her and there’s less risk of cheating there.
I also think in some cases, beautiful women don’t take time to develop other aspects of their character. So men become bored with them. And may gravitate towards a regular woman because her character, personality and other wifely skills was more interesting. No not all hot women are shallow but many of them can be

I have met many men who have married "beautiful" women, lol, and all they had was breat impants ,lip injections, and fillers,that it's beautiful a fake! Stop putting beautiful women and women who want to be beautiful in the same category. Beautiful women take less time to get ready. They don’t need time for hair or make up. They can throw on a baseball hat anf go, and look good. If it takes hours and hours to get ready, they aren’t beautiful, they are trying to look beautiful. Agreed I don't wear much make up because I don't have much of a purpose for it. It makes more sense to wash your face and only dress up in settings that requires you to look that way. Men confuse models and divas with ordinary women that are attractive some of these women even convince themselves there not that pretty because men can be insultive when women dress up. Imagine all those hours at the hair salon, nails, stuff that requires a lot of work only to be told to tone it down, hide your tattoos and stop wasting his money. No wonder he's so miserable women were made that way maybe God wanted them to look that way to keep men in check.

There are so many variables of what people deem attractive,many people also have preferances of size,height,weight,skin tone,hair color,etc.. and then you have people with fetishes(friend at work was a good looking guy and in great shape and he only dated BBW and married a BBW) beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

On various topics? Can you carry a conversation on various topics? What hobbies do you have?.. etc.. the reason most relationships and marriages fail is once the initial buzz of newness wears off and you start spending alot of time or living together whats going to keep your partner interested, if yoh are boring,have no hobbies,dont read or write, and all you do is gossip on the phone about some dumb tv show...well things are going to end up in the toilet.

I don't approach because I already know she's dealing with multiple men, as most women are that are on social media. I also know that if she's on social media, every event and issue in the relationship needs to be vetted and validated by a community of strangers. And of course, half of all women keep a "man on standby" that they can jump to in the event they're not feeling their current "situation". Why would I bother with that? Why would I bother wasting time, money, or effort to be nothing more than an option on a woman's smartphone? I've got better things to do, and I have more respect for myself than that. As for this? It used to be that "plain janes" were less likely to cheat because of fewer options. That's not the case anymore.

This is a very narcissistic way of thinking. God made men and women in His image and all are unique with their own set of qualities and gifts. Focusing on the outwardly man vs. woman, how beautiful men are? That is not right. 😢 a wife is to be cherished and loved as a wife, as a child of the MOST HIGH! I completely disagree . I believe most pretty women are assumed to have no character, or bland personalities. Therefore due to confirmation bias, people look for anything that will confirm their existing belief, that pretty women somehow have less of a personality than less attractive women. Most studies show that looks have absolutely no determination on the quality of your personality or your intelligence. There are factually just as many intelligent, attractive people as there are intelligent unattractive people. Our personalities are mainly formed within the first five years of our lives. During this time we are unaware of our own attractiveness, or lack there of. Which is why it’s almost laughable that people assume the less attractive a person is the better their personality versus the more attractive a person is, the worse their personality. People are generally jealous of attractive people. Therefore, their own insecurities make them search out deficits in that person.. We do this to feel better about ourselves. It’s to give ourselves peace of mind that there is no way this person is this much above me. This thought process is natural, but it’s flawed.
