Alright Tom... the fishing videos are great and all but Ive got a real question here. What version of the humminbird lake master are you using? Mines not working, Im having a hard time finding the areas holding the down to earth cute girls. Seems you have no problem catching those either. What kind of structure are you looking for here? Churches, bars or parks? My humminbird smartstrike must be missing the "girlfriend" choice under the species selection. Cant seem to get on em. Also what kind of bait? I heard gold/silver shinny or sparkly in the sun presentations work pretty good. Seems they arnt very active in the winter and very skittish in the summer. Maybe fall is the best time of year to target this species?
After watching this video I was wondering, typically, how long do the fish stay in this bite? Is it days? Or weeks? Asking because most of us obviously can’t be out on the lakes checking water temps each day, so I’m wondering what that sweet-spot in water temp is and when we need to move out of the shallows and back into deeper water to hunt for them. Thanks again for making these! We do appreciate the time and effort that goes into making these!
Generally if you have bats from 50 to 60 degrees there will be fish in them. There are generally many waves of fish coming into the shallows. And generally this bite will last for 3 to 4 weeks
Tom - Do you mark the fish with your electronics or are you just visually picking these spots? I got a livescope this spring and no problem marking fish out deep... check out how many fish were on my livescope video suspended over deep water....
Tommmmmm your videos are awesome. I love all your content my dude. You have inspired me to jump out of my comfort zone and start my own channel. Where I will try and film all my fishing adventures for all species. My new video drops every Friday where I hope to give insight to people to allow them to catch their dream fish as well. I would love some support and feedback so check it out. Peace.
Shelby is a natural at fishing! Love to hear the excitement in her voice! Fun to watch!
Love your videos. I'm in NC and using your fishing techniques here to be different. Thank you for what you do.
Great tips! The bite has been great so far this spring!
Love this channel
Awesome!
We couldn't find them in the shallow bays but did find them suspended in deeper water. Thanks for your informative videos!
Good job Shelbster.
Tom, do more videos with Shelby in them!!

Dang you have some good structure up there
So will crappies and bluegills use the same beds year after year? Thanks for the great videos you put out.
Idk...but they definitely use the same areas year after year

If they are this shallow it's all visual. But you can pick fish up pretty easy on the weed edges going into these shallows
