An expensive 15 mins (5 mins to watch, 10 mins to shop online) but well worth it - products - and more importantly brushes (which are amazing) arrived and it's transformed the way I apply make up. Since you like mineral foundation, try Lancome Dual Finish powder. I don't know how they do it but when it's put on with a brush, it's almost hydrating. I have used it for 27 years. I try other foundations but I always come back to my Lancome and I'm 68!

Oh and the lip glosses I really recommend for people who don’t like using lip liner are the ones from Esteé Lauder! They are amazing! They feel lovely on the lips and they give such nice colour to your lips and so evenly as well - you won’t need a lip liner. I really like them a lot.

I haven't tried the Laura Mercier Mineral foundation yet, but have used youngblood, Bare minerals and a third I can't remember. I find they all become very dry without primer. I don't have dry skin, but normal to slightly oily in the T-zone. How do you manage without primer? xx
You have exactly the same skin type as me and I find a serum mix, I use hyaluronic acid with a more moisturising serum over the top, leave to dry then concealer and mineral powder work well for me and last all day - I am not a fan of primers as I find them pore clogging X

How do your get your eyebrows to stay put all day? Mine are sparse at the tails. Seems like all of the eyebrow products slip away in 1 to 4 hours, even with a mineral powder foundation and a finishing spray. Am I erring on what I apply pre-eyebrows? . I have normal skin but live in a humid climate.

+rachel edwards no I don't, I just choose a base a shade darker than my face and neck and blend it down. It's very common as most of us wear higher SPF on our faces than our bodies. If you do self tan I like Make Believe for face and St Tropez for face ...they suit my olive/sallow complexion.

I'm 36 and that's just about exactly what I do for makeup everyday minus the base and lipstick. I'm also lazy that I don't want to have to spend the time taking it all off at the end of the day, which is one of the reasons why I don't wear a base. And I prefer a lip balm in place of a sticky lip gloss or drying lipstick that usually makes my teeth look yellow
Nadine, seeing you apply mascara was a revelation. You didn't dip before each eye - just before each coat -yet both of your eyes look equally beautiful. Are you using different sides of the brush, or is there enough product left after one eye to do the other on the same "face" of the brush? I'm going to try this tomorrow morning!!!

Yes I do - I love Jane Iredale, and Youngblood, the latter gibes a lighter finish but I use Jane Iredale for TV XXX

More than enough to do each coat and I use all sides of the brush - but then I do like a good mascara and I'm fussy and Masterpiece max is very good X
