Great review! Thanks for the walk through - I've been looking at GFC and Super Pacific, but this is one I stumbled onto. Please keep us updated as you use it more.
HI STORM 👋 I LIKE THE SETUP . GREAT VIDEO FOOTAGE 📹 TAKE YOUR TIME TO FIGURE OUT HOW YOU WANT TO SET IT UP 😀 CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HOW YOU SET IT UP . BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN ! ENJOYED 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS ON YOUR ADVENTURES 🙏 THANK YOU 🙏
I did add , you may also want to add even more circuits to the back canopy?? The 4 wire trailer wire is very good rated at -70*C is good, I did the 7 circuit trailer wire as that is what I need there!! I installed it as - 20C so if fought me all the way. The electricians knock out cutters work very well to cut a round hole trade sized 1/2" or 3/4" up to 6" in size so any of these can have a Strain relief connector, best get a sealing ring or a Myers hub so it is water proof. The canopy seals leak not the /my electrical connections. go figure. Since you likely only need them ?? once a pawn shop is a good place to find them?? Also added extra lights for out side the back of the canopy, which are very good at night.
I'm looking at getting something like this. I was thinking 4WC because they're all over the place, but as I research more, there are really a lot of people making these, so I'm realizing there are many good options. Wondering if you have had yours out in any strong winds and how did it do. Does it really create a disturbance in the wind. Thanks for the video.
The price point for these and what they are compared to what's on the market is insane. You can literally buy a small car for what is being asked for one of these.
How do these do in heat and humidity …. Would this be any good for Florida or south east hot humid weather ? If it rains do you have to worry about closing it and having it wet still ? Mold ?
That setup is just about what I'm looking for. For storage I'm thinking about the Decked drawer system, it's about a foot in height but with the top up it should be ok, I'm 6ft. What do you think?
Question; how was your experience with wind and any flapping with fabric? Been looking at different toppers and one company has a hard side pop up camper. Just seeing how you enjoyed while camping here in the West.
That is super nice camper top, do they have in Southern California, as bd how light they were and is it made from aluminum? Please let me know where to get that Camper top. Thank you for the share
Great video, I was just considering Moonlander until I seen this. I actually contacted Topo Toppers to look at pricing & options. Did you even consider Moonlander? I have a 5.5 foot Ram.
I did take a look at Moonlander too, but opted to go with TopoTopper since their campers seemed to have a lot more overall space. I also wasn’t sure how I’d like the overhang on the sides of the Moonlander, but with that said I do still like how they created their own unique design
In talking to people that can be an issue, so to be safe I did go ahead and seal all long the truck bed and put in tailgate inserts. On the trails I had already done before sealing it, I didn't notice much dust getting in though. It was mainly dirt from taking things in and out of the truck bed.
Did notice a slight decrease. I’m still averaging about 17-18mpg with the 3.5 L V6 eco boost. I’m looking at adding a wind deflector towards the front of the truck cab to counter the drag some
Try using google. I dont get why people always ask the most basic and easiest questions to find the answers to, when a simple google search will provide the answers faster then it will take to get someone to respond. Maybe this just shows how lazy some people are and have entitled mentally that they just expect someone to tell them the answers instead of solving their own problems on their own.
Well done for your first vid.
Excellent video! Not as many F150 builds as the traditional tacos. Cant wait to see more from you in the future. Safe travels!
Great video and overview of the Topo Topper. Thanks for taking the time to put it together.
The topper looks great; well worth the drive. Enjoy it.
Great First video! Looking forward to future videos. We're evaluating this same unit.

Awesome product! Has me thinking, I'm from Greensboro by the way.
Nice set up looking forward to your build
Excellent video
Cool camper top
L-tracks would look better powder coated black. Excellent video.
Dude, exactly what I've been looking for, good vidio
Hey man !! I'm just 10 minutes north of Greensboro. I run the group NC Gravel Touring and Softroading. Truck looks awesome.
Small world! I'll definitely have to check the group out. And thank you!

Nice video. What's the height clearance of the car with the max air?
Would love more info about the f150 itself! What engine, trim level, options, ….?
It’s a 22 F-150 XLT with the 6.5 ft bed and FX4 off-road package. Engine is 3.5L V6 ecoboost

What do you recommend?

As a P.S. I would not put my axe outdoors. Invites trouble, I found out the hard way. You can deal with a shovel.
That setup is just about what I'm looking for. For storage I'm thinking about the Decked drawer system, it's about a foot in height but with the top up it should be ok, I'm 6ft. What do you think?
I was thinking about going this rout for a truck exactly like yours. Have you had any issues I should be aware of?
Is there space to run the fan with the tent down? Looks like you can remove a bed panel?
Do you have to take your mattress, sheets and pillows down when you fold it up?
Wondering why you went with this topper as opposed to an overland project M? Nice video
What didn’t you like about the uru designs camper
Nice build! Does the tent make much flapping noise in the wind?
Question; how was your experience with wind and any flapping with fabric?
Been looking at different toppers and one company has a hard side pop up camper.
Just seeing how you enjoyed while camping here in the West.
I’ve slept in it now during rain and some high winds and the material flapping hasn’t been an issue. The canvas material is pretty sturdy.
God morning = morn 😂😂
How much did the 6.5 version end up weighing?
How much weight will the bed level support? 2 adults or just kids? I am 250. will it support me?
That is super nice camper top, do they have in Southern California, as bd how light they were and is it made from aluminum? Please let me know where to get that Camper top. Thank you for the share
How dark is the tint on the rear and sliding side windows? Can someone see what you have inside?
Great video, I was just considering Moonlander until I seen this. I actually contacted Topo Toppers to look at pricing & options. Did you even consider Moonlander? I have a 5.5 foot Ram.

When driving down dirt roads, does dust get into camper/shell? I’m thinking probably through the space between the tailgate & truck bed sides.
In talking to people that can be an issue, so to be safe I did go ahead and seal all long the truck bed and put in tailgate inserts. On the trails I had already done before sealing it, I didn't notice much dust getting in though. It was mainly dirt from taking things in and out of the truck bed.
I'm wondering if you can use the one half of bed frame on the tr7ck rails like a bunk bed style ?
Definitely could, in my final buildout I used the truck rails for support. I have a DIY L-couch that turns into a bed in the bottom
Did you see any difference in gas mileage with that on your f150? What motor do you have?
Did notice a slight decrease. I’m still averaging about 17-18mpg with the 3.5 L V6 eco boost. I’m looking at adding a wind deflector towards the front of the truck cab to counter the drag some
Nice video- does it leak?
No leaks from the topper or windows
Nice, i think Hiatus camper is better.
What happens when the velcro goes bad? Also, how much do they cost?

@@tommymadux3646 Sorry, I wasn't talking to you.
Are there any spots that leak?
So far no leaks from the roof, windows, or tent material.
Topo takes a lot of short cuts compare to other companies. IE, their latches are off the shelf.
