*A-Z IN CK3 IS BACK!* I have NOT forgotten about this wonderfully crazy idea, and I aim to finish it by the end of the year! And today, we are picking it up at *D*, with the wonDerful Daurama Dura! Now I only have to worry about Paradox adding MORE starting characters to the list 😭
Ikr, I played as a queen for the first time recently. When I found out my husband cheated on me, I had a 1-on-1 duel with him where I clobbered his face in. Then I went to war with him, arrested him, revoked all of his land, and banished him from Ireland.
Am actually hausa .. from nigeria .. daura is not far from my own settlement.. 🎉🎉🎉. Am happy koifish 😂😂. This made me happy . My tribe conquered the whole of africa 🎉🎉
Love how he got a guy who works out, rather than a naturally strong, herculean character and hopes it genetically passes down. Clearly the genius didn't tell Koifish anything about genetics.
So you played starting as a count on 867, got a bunch of concubines, and quickly blobbed out to an empire… this almost feels like you’re still playing as Haesteinn 😂
And here we witness a man trying his damndest to break his addiction. It aint easy, but it is important. So let's all celebrate this moment, and remember that he could have put Haestinn in Africa...again.
20:46 dont be so surprised, the husband always has to cross borders, hope that Daurama is present, willing, not already pregnant or busy with her bro-cubines, of course he has less chance to knock her up
Hahaha, one of my favorite starts. What I usually do is try to get my heir to be my husband’s culture initially, they have the strongest heavy infantry in the game called Mubarizun, and they are truly OP, I usually buy the men-at-arms and then switch back to original culture, but it’s not necessary. My next “to do” is get to feudal asap, tribal is kind of sucky. Next I do somewhat what you do. I reform the faith and make it really OP. Becoming a witch and strengthening the bloodline is also a plus, the ultimate end is uniting Africa. I played tall and ended up making over 800 gold a month and by the end had over 1M. It was crazy. I was shocked their were not that many people starting as Daurama. You’re actually the 1st one I’ve seen.
YES! Daurama Daura is my favourite character (together with Haesteinn), currently I´m doing a Haesteinn in Africa run, trying to marry as many Dauras as possible to create a blended Dynasty of hausa-norse culture and bori faith.
So basically, Bayajidda of Kano was a legendary figure in the history and folklore of the Hausa people of Nigeria. According to the legend, Bayajidda was a prince from Baghdad who journeyed to West Africa in search of a bride. During his travels, he arrived in the city of Daura, where he encountered a giant snake known as Sarki. Bayajidda bravely fought and killed the snake, earning him the title "the slayer of Sarki." Or in CK3 “snake” As a result of his victory, Bayajidda married the princess of Daura and established the Hausa dynasty in Kano, which became one of the most powerful and influential kingdoms in the region. The legend of Bayajidda is an important part of the Hausa cultural heritage and symbolizes bravery, heroism, and the foundation of the Kano kingdom. I thought someone in the comment sectioned mentioned they were Hausa or from that region, so if I’m wrong please correct me.
The reason why durama is the only non European suggested character is because paradox didnt want to blow their load too soon. They have a decade of dlc to sell us after all.
Here's an idea for a challenge. Make a character from scratch and set them somewhere in Europe to be a Messalianism Christian and try to overtake the Catholic faith. Messalianism is one of the more unique Christian variants in the game because its main tenets are Carnal Exaltation (Meaning that Lustful a virtue and Chaste a sin, and 25% boost to fertility), Divine Marriage (Literally meaning incest=wincest, close family marriages give you vessel opinion and piety) and Esotericism (The most normal one, making it so the 'mystic' traits are virtues and can get upgraded via pilgrimages). Most of their doctrines are reversed from the main ones too. IE: Witchcraft, Same-Sex relations, Adultery (both types), and Deviancy being accepted and only close-kin slaying being punishable. I have literally never seen a playthrough of this not get torn apart because any family that follows this faith that I am not directly controlling ends up having scales and health issues within two generations because they just won't stop banging each other. And the fact that most of the holy sites are in the Middle East, it makes a BIIIIIIITCH to get the bonuses if you start in Europe and if you do take a character that's closer to those areas while being this faith, you REALLY don't last long with all the powerful Muslim characters around you.
I just did a count to king in the Abbasid Empire. It's hard, but not that difficult. ( it was supposed to be "from count to emperor", but problems related to inbreeding made me quit. I will try again after the Persian DLC releases). I Created a Messalinian Syriac ruler in 867 in a county located in a dejure territory of the kingdom of Mesopotamia (Messalianism was born in mesopotamia) really close to the capital, there are no rulers of that culture, so you automatically become the cultural head (the starting character of that county is from a diferent culture/religion). Your liege (the Abbasid emperor himself) hold's most of the territory around you, but he stars over his domain limit and will give some counties away. You will be surounded by very weak neighbors. The emperor's culture lacks the innovation that allows raising the crown's authority to level 2, so he cannot revoke youre titles, but he can still arrest, torture or execute you. The Key is to start wiht an intrige education focus, and preferably 18 +, so you have at least one perk to choose from the statr. Take the perk that allows you to fabricate hooks and start the scheme agains youre liege immediately so you can change your feudal contract asap and get the "Jhiza status" and he won't be able to demand youre conversion anymore. Afte you secure the duchy title things get more chill. I don't remember the name of the county or the duchy, but all the counties of the Syriac culture are located in this duchy, it's easy to find. PS: Messalianism is an already organized faith, you cannot reform it. If you want to change anything, you need to create a new Christian faith, and for that you don't need holly sites, just piety.
@@gabrielciabotti8001 Oh right, I forgot about that. I guess that's my bad for playing with a lot of pagan faiths. But IDK, usually when I play as a certain faith surrounding by a different one. I tend to get either invaded, or demanded that I change my faith or just out right get my titles revoked eventually.

Koifish didn't just divorce his husband, but took his lands too. Divorce settlements in CK3 is wild

Koifish: Checkmate
Tbf it's not that far off from how divorce court works in North America 😂😂

I'm Igbo, and this video convinced me to try out the game
And here I was expecting it to be Hæsteinn who'd wear a wig and go conquer Africa!
Hæstinja

I think koifish would never play Crusader Kings 3 again if they got rid of Hastings😂
Haesteinn is basically Koifish’s spiritual ruler in the game
Hæsteinn is his bread and butter, so of course.

I was hoping to see a continuation of Hæsteinn’s Scandinafrica. But this was interesting too. We don’t see much matriarchal societies in history.

No
I think the answer is no, but for legal reasons, yes.
YES!

It's crazy how much the game has changed since it came out. On launch Daurama had roughly 300 levies and no MAA. Here she starts with almost 1500 men.
Hence why Mother of Us All is actually not too bad of an achievement, just a tad tedious.
You can filter for rulers of different faith within your realm in the character finder (Default hotkey "C")
I wish uniting Africa came with bigger bonus than what it is.
Thank you for doing this Video. I have been wanting to see people do this challenge with the DLCs added.
Doesn'T look to me like he has the DLC's active though. Even seems like an older game version without any of the travel mechanics.

Let's ignore the collapsed byzantine empire at the end
