I Played as a MYSTERY CHARACTER in Crusader Kings 3!

- Usually when you play Crusader Kings 3, you select your favorite character! BUT WHAT IF... you didn't get to pick at all? In this video, Koifish will play as a MYSTERY CHARACTER, a completely randomized ruler! We will let the game pick one out of ANY of the playable characters in CK3, from the poorest of counts to the richest of emperors!
That means that we could get ANY start in the game! That includes the many interesting and unique starting characters that are available, like Haesteinn, The holy roman empire, France, the Abbasids and much much more! This requires no Crusader Kings 3 mods! Even though there are some amazing Mods for CK3 out there, this playthrough guide will show you how to do it without any of them!
I will be using all the tips and tricks and strategies that I went over in my Lifestyle guide series, mainly focusing on Martial and Learning! I'm also playing with all the current DLC, Including Northern Lords, Royal Court and Fate of Iberia!

You could do a CK3 challenge run. There is a site that genenerates random conditions and goals for the character in ck3. I think Proud Bavarian did this not long ago, it was fun
yeah, the site was actually made for CK2 though, so some things may not be the most accurate
I'd love to see a challenge run for Western Rome or Hellenic Greece if that's possible!
This was a fun video though, I'd be happy if this became a regular thing, if not constant. Like maybe every month or two between other series

I honestly never played a game of CK2 or CK3 in any other way as with a random character (or a custom character in a random realm) with the only exception being a ruler of the place I actually live IRL.

Do an Iberian Nation (Doesn't matter which one.), Wait for that event to proc, grant cultural protection to them, form hybrid culture with them, convert to the faith but later reform it into something new, Conquer Iberia and for the Empire, then go reclaim Israel.

I just noticed that Koifish still has all cosmetic stuff in the Barbershop, even when playing with the newest version and DLC, much of the hairstyles and clothes from the Iberian culture are missing from my game since the DLC and the Update came out, am I the only one that has this problem, or does anyone know what the problem might be ?

I should probably try the random button, I have a tendency to do the same two runs over and over in CK2 and the same exact run over and over in CK3. I haven’t got a favourite character exactly bc I usually make my own, but I tend to always pick an Irish count and go for Britannia - I've also done Scotland to Britannia but I just can't get myself to do it as England. In CK2 I did that a lot too, but my absolute favourite was to hit Shattered World, down to counties, then I'd pick one in modern day Russia and go for forming the empire - mostly just because you can’t form the USSR in this game and that was the next best thing. Although I suppose I do have a favourite character because there is one start I never replace with a custom ruler and have played more than once - that one matriarchy in Africa, I mostly play her because it means getting to play female rulers consistently without having to make sweeping changes to a religion or culture. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if she's the favourite character of a lot of girls who play this game for that very reason. I don't really play for achievements but I've thought about going for Mother Of Us All just because I like the character well enough and I've always found religion in this game very interesting.
