Ngl, I especially leaned into your channel when you went through divorce as I also had ended my long term relationship and was hard core struggling. Both in the up and the downs, the travels and the health struggles, I've found your channel comforting and validating. I sincerely hope that you are able to hammer out what the hell is going on with your endocrine system with a second opinion. Considering everything that has been going on, you may want to get checked out for stress trigger perimenopause. It has similar symptoms hypothyroidism and is fixed depending on which hormone (luteinizing, progesterone, estrogen) hormone you lack to help balance out your system.

The new camera is amazing and definitely noticeable! My mom's family is Hungarian and I can definitely relate to how hard the language is to learn as she and I both tried to learn it years ago. No family to practice with that still speaks it though as we've been stateside for over a century at this point and have no connections with anyone in Hungary.
@@coffeecrisp76 My family moved to Alabama around the same time but we'll never know for sure because my great-grandfather was left orphaned at about 9 (or 11, he didn't actually know his birth year). He tried to keep as much of the Hungarian culture that he knew alive but it can be incredibly hard at that age to try to do that by yourself, especially when you end up fostered by people that only want you around as a farm hand and don't care who you are.
I am so happy I got Hungarian for 'free' as my native language. Anyone who tries to master it has my utmost respect! It's so great you have a friend at hand to practice with. :) English is so much easier compared to it. To make up to the advantage, I started studying Japanese as a working adult - I'll never be good enough to keep up a normal conversation but it helps a lot during my trips to Japan. :3
Fellow Hungarian here. I always knew somehow you were Hungarian. The language is absurdly hard for a person with English as mother tongue, firstly because of the numerous and bizarre sounds, and also because of the toughest agglutinating grammar... I have seen people who managed to learn it pretty good, even accent free, but then there is the speed and the accents. Power to you! Eddig minden király!

I don't know what the space Chris's studio will be in but it would be great if the corridors could be swung out/pushed back somehow to be able to be filmed as a close alleyway and also as a backdrop. The smallness of it does also have a charm. It reminds me of those alley ways with the tiny bars.

So impressed you’re learning one of the most difficult languages! I wish my dad had taught me when I was growing up. He was born in SK to Hungarian speaking immigrants. However he married a woman of English descent from NL and therefore never thought he’d use Hungarian again. For the set you can push it back and make it into a shop like the old electronic shops Akihabara which can by used as a set but also a space to set up the camera and to have a shot that has backdrop of the old electronic store.

If I could pitch how to redesign Chris’s set it would be to divide it in half, have the candy shop in view from the ramen counter and make the other half of the set be darker, night life themed, and add a second filming counter that’s supposed to be the bar at a nightclub. A third filming spot could be a chair and table by a projection or green-screen window and it looks like deckard’s apartment balcony

As a native German speaker I can say even for us the more Eastern-european languages are hard to learn and pretty rough in pronounciation.
