Fixed: Notification not Showing on Android!

What does it mean if under Settings->Notifications it says "Never" for the particular app? Moving the "slide" doesn't change the message

I like silent but I want to see notifications the tiny light blinking which as of lately hasnt been working I have missed a few text messages and a few calls hours later instead of when before on my last phone a few months back I would notice the light blinking right away.

I have a Nokia G300 i had same problem with notifications for camera apps and gmail not popping up. The solution that fixed my problem was going into notifications/apps click see all apps, click on any app then click on the bottom button adavanced, then click battery, then battery optimization, find the app in the list list that you have problems with click it and select dont optimize. Right after clicking dont optimize on apps that had notification problems the problem dissaepeared hope this helps

the problem is the app cant bbe found in phone notifications. its in phone apps and there i allowed notifications and also ingame i allowed notifications but it isnt appearing in phone notifications..no matter what i do
