I have read on Feng Shui over the course of my adult years and really never grasped it. But with your explanations I feel like I can do this. The plants will soon be moving three feet to the south in my dining area.
Something that can help you understand and notice feng shui in your daily life is to consume Marijunana/Cannabis or LSD. Psychedelics are often a gateway into the feng shui world.
This is very interesting to me, because I grew up with Money Jars. Money Jars were placed near the door, and if you entered your home with spare change in your pocket, it would go in the jar. In the practical sense, this kept money from being left scattered all over the house. In the spiritual sense, it is near the door to attract more money inside. Of course, we are encouraged to move the jar elsewhere if that is not a good spot or if money starts using the door to leave instead of come in. I like what you were saying here about furthest spot you can still see from the entrance. That means you dont forget it, its still fairly convenient to you, but it is not in the way or so easy to leave back out the door. I think I will keep that in mind next time I have to move my money jar. 😊
I use to do this, then my grandma yelled at me saying I couldn't leave money by the door because it would be tempted to go outside. She held my little bowl of coins wandered around my apartment and then found the corner where I often sat on the floor propagating plants for random chump change every now and then and put it on the table. "You put it here." It was the first time she visited my apartment and she didn't know I sold plants from time to time.
Interesting. My deepest corner from the door holds art supplies and the SE corner is where I put my favorite books, mementos and other things that make me happy, and it makes perfect sense because I don't care about money, can't even think of any "lucky charm" I would use for that - those things already represent the kind of inner wealth that matters to me more than the material. Even despite being limited by space and practicality, I've managed to intuitively organize my room in a way that feels comfortable before I knew anything about feng shui ^^
I want to put a painting of a fish in my money corner. I don't know what it is about fish that represents wealth to me, but I decided to follow the mental association now and ask questions later. Edit: Just googled it, apparently fish representing wealth is also a Chinese feng shui thing and the Pinyin word for "fish" also translates to "abundance". Also a popular Chinese New Year symbol is a child holding a goldfish and a lotus flower to symbolize the abundance of gold and harmony. So yeah, fish is a very good thing to put in your money corner!
What?! How did I do this without knowing feng sui! I have the waving cat ornament a gift from parents from a trip in China, I call it the hardest worker at home since it has a solar panel and makes a sound when it waves, when it’s sunny you can hear it waving and it’s been in the deepest corner of the house from the entry.. in front of a window where the sun rises! I think it naturally found it’s way there since we moved into the house.. now I know lol
Thank you so much for the detailed explanation! I've always sensed that my money corner was different from the typical SE corner, but I couldn't explain why I felt that way. This helps so much. Thanks again 😊
Yes❣️. It is so great to have personal control, as my southeast corner is exactly my entryway 🚪, which= the sole entrance & exit to my apartment. 😅 (Edit: Or technically 1/6th of my front closet, which is exactly in that corner, directly behind my main 🚪 when it is completely open.🤓)
I love that I naturally started putting things in the money corner that brings growth… I was pondering to myself just this week why do I keep putting several plants in this corner when I don’t love my plants growing right on top of each other…. But this gave some insight
Nice! My SW corner is also my sunniest spot and in a corner visible from the door. I have my shelf of plants there already. And an elephant with it's back to the window, which in my culture is meant to bring money in.
Oh, wow! My plant corner is in the money sector, and a few years ago, I bought a ceramic elephant and placed him between the cat fountain and a plant, back to the window. No money yet, but no money problems, either!
Has to be visible from the entrance makes sense, it's to remind you when you come back home from work at night, all exhausted and starting to question what are you even working for, you see the money / accomplishments corner and it might give you some mental boost to go at it again the next day. So maybe in that sense put it on the way to your bedroom / bathroom, whatever you are likely to do first when coming back home. Like changing clothes or freshening up in the bathroom.
My apartment is behind another apartment on the east side, and the southeast corner is between the fridge and the laundry/utility closet with no windows in that area. You covered that exact situation at the end of the video, making it clear why that is definitely not the money corner in this space! On the other hand, the southwest corner has a south-facing window where I've naturally put some plants and a lamp as well as my desk. It's the sunniest spot in the downstairs. I'll consider some other things to add to the space to represent wealth!
I think I've read also what is bringing u prosperity like the type of job or hobbies u have could but used with the grid ... Like luck &money could be creativity based if ur an illustrator, if u work with lumber, wood represents luck & money.. Etc.
Thank you for explaining it in the way that I can understand it. 😅 My husband has been trying to explain it to me for years but it does not make sense. Now I know where to put that beckoning cat thing. 😂
I believe my money corner has my pet rats cage in it which is ideal because money doesn't mean anything to me compared to the wealth they enrich my everyday life with!
Why is wealth important? It is only important so that you may live a life the way you would like. Struggling to find enough to survive is a lot of stress on the people you need to support and yourself. More money = more of what you want to do.
Ironically enough my husband was gifted a piggy bank of a character he likes. Guess where he put it without knowing anything about Feng shui. Looking at it does motivate me tbh.
Wow. My money corner has my dog’s laundry basket that’s full 95% of the time. No wonder I’m broke Al the time 😵💫😆😆… I’m changing this immediately. Wish me luck!
I have a money corner where we constantly gather, has good light, with symbols of success and achievement. It is very visible, because money has eyes. 😄
For my studio apartment, it appears that Method 1 and 2 agree! It happens to fall into a corner made up of bookcases. I guess I should set up a coin jar at the corner or on a shelf of one of the bookcases (the two bookcases meet at a 45-degree angle, against the wall). The eastern bookcase sits between the wall on the right and the only apartment window on the left; I keep plants in front of the window. The southern bookcase sits between the wall on the left and the futon bed (and the cubbie storage 'sofa console' on the right.

I had my trinket/holiday souvenirs and candles/intense as well as a canvas of my daughter, in a cabinet in that corner last, but since my toddler has been walking and grabbing everything it's gone. I will need to go back to that corner!!!

LOL, the SE corner is my basement laundry room and crawlspace. Edit: Money corner would probably be in my roommate's tropical-themed home office, especially since the door is almost always open and we walk past it all the time. I love the lucky frog and cat figures you show here, so cute!
I would love to see you talk about houses designed specifically with Feng Shui and the person's personal chart in mind. Is there a perfect Feng Shui place?
I love the videos. Following all your different methods for this though, each creating a different corner, I’m keeping my money in my pocket, as I now have 87 money corners. I’ve also got gold cats and frogs everywhere.
Ooos. Been putting my bicycle in my money corner next to a sliding glass doorr at the back of the living room (deepest part of the house getting a lot of natural light). I *have* been riding it a lot more and it's basically my "health corner", i guess.
Absolutely! It's all about the optimum flow of energy. Pay attention to what your body tells you. If you're comfortable in a space the energy is good. If you feel uncomfortable, a little rearranging is in order.
I think the central part of home signifies health. So make sure, there's nothing heavy or big in the centre of the house. Keep it airy and open. Since it is earth element, putting earthern pots vases and beige brown color carpet or things works great.

Oh my, you have to know the period and facing direction of a home to determine the money corners. Every home has its own energy, the SE will not be everyone's money corner.
Right now, in the part of the country I live in, the sun is rising in the Northeast more East than North. And really, it never rises in the southeast where I live. And maybe it does go a teeny tiny bit Southeast but not by much more East in the summer and more Northeast in the winter. So the problem I have is there are a lot of windows which I do not like putting curtains up because of allergies. Also, a back door there is a space between the back door and the window that would be exactly where the sun mostly rises on average. In the winter it it rises in the northeast corner and a window. So, how would I handle this situation? 🤔
I’d like to know about apartment buildings and hemispheres. I think you put the money corner where you can see it, somewhere relaxing and calm, and somewhere with sunlight.
Does this work even if you live in Any part of the world? I am asking in context as the direction of sunshine is different in different countries. In one your previous videos you talk about how south is considered inauspicious in India but in China as it is above on the globe considered to be good.
The sun rises in the northeast if you're in the southern hemisphere! I would flip the octagon along the N/S axis if you live there. If you are asking about different cultural traditions, i have no idea. 😅
I have two questions: My house have two entrances, the main one and the back door, that I use the most. Wich one do I consider for this? And my house has more than one floor, I'm assuming I should use the ground floor, where I get in the house. Is that correct?
I'd say in the case of multiple entrances, you should look into using your personal directions? Unless, I guess, there are multiple people living there, in which case maybe just use the compass direction based method but still make sure it's nice and sunny and not dingy of a spot. And probably on the first floor, yes. But so it's not right next to an entrance. Idk, that's just my guess :)
I'm still confused. Should I align the south of the bagua map with the geographic south on my floor plan or with the entrance door, regardless of the cardinal sign? 🥴

Any part of the world? I am asking in context as the direction of sunshine is different in different countries. In one your previous videos you talk about how south is considered inauspicious in India but in China as it is above on the globe considered to be good.
The sun rises in the northeast if you're in the southern hemisphere! I would flip the octagon along the N/S axis if you live there. If you are asking about different cultural traditions, i have no idea. 😅
@@xerozoothanks for your response
Standing at my front door it’s EAST, i can’t find my money corner in my apartment 🤷🏼♀️
I have two questions:
My house have two entrances, the main one and the back door, that I use the most.
Much needed. Thank you.
That is good to know.
In India, as per vastu, the money corner is southwest corner.
Very good. Thank you so much
That will only make me "MONEY CRAZY". Lol
What if you live in multiple levels like a townhouse? For example, my 1st floor is just a garage. My living room floor is one floor up.
Gah, my front door is in the northeast corner. Regarding money coming in from front door, what keeps it from going out more than coming in? ;)
Walking into our condominum apartment, we are facing East. Southeast is on the far right corner.
Great Video!
I'm still confused. Should I align the south of the bagua map with the geographic south on my floor plan or with the entrance door, regardless of the cardinal sign? 🥴
Clear as mud.
That is why people hire experts in their fields.
