CETME-L handling feels a little a little odd at first. You quickly get used to it, and grow to like it. It's actually rather light and handy. If you have an appreciation for slightly odd but well designed classic arms, you'll like the CETME-L.
@ 17:00 With many/most other Cetme Ls, the rear of the Ejection Port is flared out into a Shell Deflector . @ 19:22, The prototype Cetme L apparently had an HK/Sig-style Rear Drum; set for 1, 2, 3, & 400 meters.
As a spanish Marine in 1990 this was my weapon and it was crap! Overheating and corrosion issues! The old CETME C was much better! Nice looking weapon though
I am a US Marine. I always wanted this rifle and just bought it. Hope to have it in my hands soon. Where exactly is the "corrosion" problem? THat way I can keep it well lubricated and keep an eye on it. I own quite a few Spanish weapons such as Cetme-L, Star Modelo BM and a Spanish Mauser.
Remember that was the "cheapest" version of the Cetme L that the spanish govern was going to pay, not the original versions. I've been in the BRIMAR since 9/11, but in the Infanteria de Marina (spanish marines) I had the HK G36 completly new in its box, imported from Germany with a size of x3. I used cetme L in the bootcamp in Cartagena but I never saw it again until I joined the Civil Guard (Guardia Civil, spanish police corps). I have to tell that the Cetme LC (short) in the Civil Guard was much better, made with the original standards by Santa Barbara (now General Dynamics Santa Barbara systems).
Sin duda los CETME LC de la Guardia Civil están mejor acabados y cuidados que los que utilizábamos en Infantería de Marina. En Infantería de Marina en el 90 los mandos ya utilizaban la versión LC y parecía de mejor calidad que el L estándar
The CETME L looks so sweet and apparently keeps on chugging even if it's full of mud while the AK/ARs jam then die. Unlike the C308, 556 is much cheaper than 308/7.62. Once I'm done with school, I hope there's still enough for me to get at a reasonable price.
Good-evening, this is Ted from Texas. Have you thought about doing the review on the century model G3? Or the cetme? And your personal opinion on just how good Century model G3 are? Thank you for your time have a good evening.
Hey Ted! I actually have a couple videos on this topic. I have one on the Century C308 table-topped with the PTR-91 and I have one with the C308 on the range. Thanks for watching!

The Cetme is very much beautiful and I love the colour.
An interesting contest would be Cetme L vs. SA80
The scream being heard is from every Spanish and British soldier forced to carry above

I'll have to check them out.
The C308 is built on a PTR receiver but by the trained orangutans at Century. PTR would never put out garbage like the C308
Great video.
