Remember to F5 before starting every mission Stalkers...... My performance issue's typically only happen if I somehow end up dying, Due to a HUD bug not showing a bleed or just me having a skill issue moment.... So normally my GPU sits around 60-70%... But if I have to load a save while in game... it just throttles my GPU to 99% and like 20fps.... And then the occasional Mission bug.
FYI - the anomaly of floating glass (I guess that is what it is?) if you use your walk key and very slowly pass through it, you can avoid damage. Just make sure you are all the way through it before you start running again or it starts shredding you.

Not everyone can see how carefully the world was worked out. Plants, flora and fauna, even insects are authentic, running around, at night in the forest you can meet hedgehogs, etc. And there are plenty of Easter eggs.

It’s a beautiful game but it’s missing what I think made stalker great. The A-Life system is entirely not present, the devs say they are going to address this but it was such a complex system that they’d have to completely revamp the current AI model to get it working on the unreal engine they switched to which wasn’t made for such complex systems like the x ray engine was. Overall i can see why people would like this game if they also enjoy games like Fallout 4 but for people who saw the marvel that was stalkers dynamic world and ai this game is a huge disappointment.
Turns out I have to progress in the main story some more before getting to go to Pripyat. I got near the border Yaniv to Pripyat and got blasted by some dude in a tower killing me instantly 😂
also notice the powerlines... there seems to be no AA on them... either UE5 is trash in that regard or devs effed up big time... the overall looks are mediocre... I just started a new vanilla CS playthrough and even the f-ing trees look exactly the same albeit perhaps with a somewhat higher resolution compared to CS - I bet you could overlay a CS tree with one of HoC and it would be a near perfect match

This is why I always carry hollow point rounds and slugs for mutants and FMJ or AP for humans, regardless of the weapon I was using.
The gameplay IS THE BEST I've seen in shooters so far. That's INSANE!
Just in a minute it turned into hit & run horror. After some patches and with mods it's gotta be one of the game of all times.
Stalker videos is the reason I subscribed, loving this!
Hey Drew, you can go through glass anomaly just fine. Press "X" to slow walk and you'll and take no damage.
2:00 - You CAN shoot objects out of the air that a Poltergeist is preparing to throw at you IF the object in question is destroyable (like a crate), but most of the time it's just not worth wasting ammunition on. Save it for killing the Poltergeist instead.
Not even that worths it, Poltergeists are blind and if you crouch stealth them you can go around them without triggering them, at least this was the case in the old Stalker games
Damn, end game Stalker 2 looks so peak. As much as I'm enjoying taking my time to get to this point, I can't wait until I'm decked out like you are and fighting zombies in the streets.
i GOT ALL DECKED OUT AND THE GAME BROKE 30 HOURS WILL NOT PROGRESS ANYMORE DELETED ITS GARBAGE JUST LIKE CYBERPUNK NEEDED ANOTHER YEAR I WILL NOW PASS FU#$ OFF WHO EVER MADE THIS GARBAGE OF A GAME.
Word of warning, going to Pripyat locks you in there, and once you finish the quests its game over. There is no freeplay once you get into Pripyat
Been waiting for more STALKER 2!
Already have a quad nods mod on Nexus lol...modding goes crazy in this community and I love it. Can't wait to see what you do with this game in the future Drewski
Wait… what? My biggest issue with the game is no night vision or gun lights
@@DankasorusRex Check out Nexus, it's got new mods dropping daily, and there's a few flashlight mods as of now but I haven't tested them so idk how reliable they are. The nods are great though, they don't have animation rn, just a reshade basically, but it's a WIP
This game looks majestic,I love the modern stalker vibes.
I went to the exclusion zone and visited Pripyat and Chornobyl some years ago, and wow this map is well done! It is really really accurate. For example the building with the disco lights and beautiful glass windows is an old cafe. At around 30:56 you can see a grey vending machine on the side of this building. This machine exists in real life.
It’s Chernobyl
The vibes are absolutely immaculate, buying this as soon as I can
plz never stop playing this. this video has been one of the best in awhile (not saying you have any bad videos) but damn it’s been a long time i’ve been on edge watching someone else play.
Thank you for disabling the HUD it looks so much better like this ❤
just a heads up everyone, when you complete the main story there is no free room, but the game does let you know of no point of return so make sure to do a manual save when that message pops up,
if you wanna keep playing and if you don’t want to restart!.
hopefully a future DLC will let you free roam after completion.
@@Skyth03 ehhh, give it a couple more weeks and we'll have most of the stuff people are missing. Especially Quality of life stuff like free roam edit: because of mods, not the devs lol
5:00 1st door: *rigged with shotgun. "Lemme open this second one without a worry...."
16:35 You can crouch past the glass shard anomaly without taking damage.
walking works too, just moving slow
Or just walk.
In case someone hasn't pointed out in the comments yet, at 19:25 apparently you can avoid glass anomalities by WALKING through them. So long as you're only walking, you'll take no damage.
Cool stuff, learned about it from another comment earlier today
👍
I'm still in awe of the timing of STALKER 2, only being released a month ish after the "Shadow of the zone" short film... the universe lined up for this
Maybe because the filmmakers timed it like that? Not because of magic or some cosmic timing that you should be in awe of? Did you think Sean Royalty didn't know the game was releasing this month so they decided to release their film a month before?
@@Ken-df8cp🤫
19:33 - If you crouch and move slowly through the floating glass anomalies you take no damage, sprinting through it is the opposite of correct lol.
I'm gonna love this game in about 2-3 years.
Current performance abd bug fixes. Then? More frde content updates, multiplayer, official mod support also on console, expansions... def 2-3 years lol

Call of Pripyat was a hell of an achievement for the Ray engine, but the buildings in Pripyat tended to be empty as hell. Like, completely empty, but it was still a hell of a city. To see these buildings with all this detail is a amazing. I've been waiting for this for 15 years.
Pripyat was really well depicted here... But it's juist too bad that the CNNP is not accessible. It's supposed to be an iconic location for both the stalker game and chernobyl itself. Not being able to enter the power plant is too bad.
Oh I'm sure there is dlc plans for that lol
Are you sure it’s not accessible? it’s on the map it’s just not north of Pripyat it’s east of it
definitely coming in DLC, as well as Lymansk and other areas most likely
@@novAviator01 no it is not, you have to use debug tools to access it. it isn't on the map either, it is hidden under cloud. You are probably thinking of the incomplete reactors 5 & 6 as well as the cooling towers. they are further east
Tip for the glass anomaly. Crouch and you can walk just through them, as long as you dont fall, etc.
You sold me. So much better than other channels would have me believe. Thanks for simply playing and allowing us to decide for ourselves. o7
Main story's quests get soft locked atm
@@LA-Viciousat which point? W/o spoiler pls
@@sawfanjohn I've been playing for 30 hours and haven't run into the soft lock. Though I am not rushing the main line.
@nqgames2954 I'm 1 step after the island and will probably do mostly the mainquest from now on, at least I planned this. Because its not 100% enjoyable for me with the spawn system/no alife and the performance/suboptimal toned down graphis. So I just want to experience one story playthrough now and will choose another path when its more polished and with a better cpu.
Would move some feedback about the area/mission name where blocks appear. Hopefully gets patched in the first patch next week
I was hyped like a four year old on christmas morning... then I installed... played for 24 Minutes exactly and uninstalled...
yeah, it´s that good 🤣
this looks and feels like a "remaster" of the old games intermixed with Gamma stuff... alas, A-life doesn´t work and thus, it´s a generic shooter... certainly not worth the asking price...
your journey through the palace of culture at the 6 minute mark is just so nostalgic lmao, maybe its the anomaly brainrot but watching you fight the hordes of monolith feels so nostalgic. cant wait to play stalker 2 this week when i upgrade my components :)
And then the occasional Mission bug.
most of the problems people are having with the game are CPU and HD issues. the game only runs properly on an SSD. and UE5 is extremely CPU demanding.
FYI - the anomaly of floating glass (I guess that is what it is?) if you use your walk key and very slowly pass through it, you can avoid damage. Just make sure you are all the way through it before you start running again or it starts shredding you.
If this game got its all bugs fixed up, all the flaws it could be a game of the year in my opinion because the atmosphere is PHENOMENAL and also the gunplay
Drewski walking super slowly, trying to be as cinematic as possible, "oh its a poltergeist, have to do a dramatic escape."
Meanwhile im holding sprint the whole way, a trail of energy drink cans behind me like bread crumbs, "oh a poltergeist" BLAM BLAM from my Saiga, back to sprinting like a maniac.
Crazy how I was rewatching your old Stalker videos and the notification for this video pops up
it's called an algorithm
how is that crazy stalker 2 literally came out a week ago
If you are a gamer this is an absolute must have as this is what tons of other games are based on and have parts in them. This should be the game of the year and I can't wait to see all the things they do with this.
Every time I hear a blood sucker the SPAS 12 or M860 comes out immediately 😂
I hate those damn things.
19:37 This anomaly will hurt you if you run or go fast. If you try to go slowly - that glass will not injure you
They REALY need to fix the A-life AI... even in this video you can see entire armies worth of enemies spawning near the player.
My grandmother and grandfather worked on Chernobyl and with my Mom lived in Pripyat city.
My mother saw the explosion of Atomic station from the window.
I thought this was a really terrible experience, to leave your city where you lived all your childhood, and never able to go back to your house.
meh, thank you ruzzians I now know by myself, how terrible it is.
Greetings from Ukraine! My special thanks to you for playing the game with authentic Ukrainian voice acting. Despite the fact that there are plenty of bugs (anomalies) in the game, the game is truly unsurpassed. Especially if you don't go through it quickly, but look closely at every detail. Not everyone can see how carefully the world was worked out. Plants, flora and fauna, even insects are authentic, running around, at night in the forest you can meet hedgehogs, etc. And there are plenty of Easter eggs.
The weapon sound variety and occlusions are excellent.
8:35 looks like its real life ngl
(Glass Anomaly) If you crouch they do not make you bleed. Mutants can not get you inside them but, they do destroy your bullets.
Can't wait to pripyat I love city areas in genres like this gonna take a while to get there sadly
FYI if you crouch or walk slowly you can pass through the glass shard anomoly without taking damage, also protects you from ranged combat lol. Also you left a free anomolly in that scanner you turned on lol
i cannot believe how good this game looks. too bad my cpu doesnt even cover low settings
Hey Drewski you can safely go through the glass shard anomaly by going slowly, I'm sure you've figured that out but i thought I'd mention it just in case :^)
my favorite part of the immersion is when a group of bandits spawn on my head. Like in real life
Took me a while to realize but you can slow walk or crouch through the "needle anomaly 19:31" so it won't slice you up (makes sense when you think about it).
Can't wait for one huge .pak from Grok that will turn this into a masterpiece.
then Grok should get the money, no?
It's already a masterpiece my friend
@@Hunne2303 I agree. I donated 5$ once to Grok. I have been playing GAMMA for a year now and its the best game I have played. I have Grok to thank for that. 5$ is not much I know but its more than nothing. Long live Grok!

I just started playing it 2 days ago. It's a little overwhelming. Thanks for posting.
Lets Go! another Drewski upload! :D
That the sound design in this game is pretty incredible. You can really tell that this game was made by people that truly know war. The way the guns just completely overwhelm. All audio in a gunfight is beautiful in a terrifying way
You can really tell that these people know how to make video games. Can't wait to sink into this masterpiece.
yeah? I think they know how to make video games and re-use old assets... the trees are 99.9% identical to the OG games and it doesn´t stop there... it´s a remaster at best with all the maps thrown into one big map... other than that, I don´t see a masterpiece for miles to come
@Hunne2303 well it is based in the same place as the other games so it can't really change the map it's self but it is refreshing with updated graphics and no loading from zone to zone.

There is an exo suit within the red forest which has high Psi protection. There's two exo suits and a guass rifle in Pripyat that im aware of.
If you go back to Rostok. There's a helicopter crash with a suit that has small psi protection. You can upgrade it to give it a little boost.
What a BEAUTIFUL game, despite the "anomalies" you can encounter. The devs did a great job.
Loving this game so far
25:39 Drewski is a real STALKER now
Three shots from a gauss rifle to kill a bloodsucker? hell no
Yeah, in the original games it used to one shot them
More than that
Man, when you visited that same spot from the cod4 mission all ghillied up/one shot one kill with the same music playing in the background, I legit got chills. Must have played that mission over a hundred times when I was a kid. Good times.
There is a cod4 Easter egg where there’s a sniper on the building where price in McMillan sniped Zakaev (probably just misspelled the name) 😅
Is it a .50 cal too? 🥵
15:50
Yeah that has to be a reference to it with the sniper up there
Wouldn't it be crazy if that was actually in the video you're commenting on
19:36 you might not see this Drewski, but if you didn't know, other may not too. You just crouch and walk through the glass, it's based on movement speed. A tually crouching in them is a little safe haven of sorts so far as anything without a projectile. (It'll one shot a snork jumping at you if you bait em into it!)
hell yeah another stalker video
19:34 there is a way to avoid glass shard anomaly... walking... running will deal the most damage, moving slow will not deal any damage.
Lmao this video get's posted as I'm gearing up to head to Pripyat for some exploring. It might be a sign to rethink my decision 😂
Turns out I have to progress in the main story some more before getting to go to Pripyat. I got near the border Yaniv to Pripyat and got blasted by some dude in a tower killing me instantly 😂
@@ThatGuy-eb9vdit's also a point of no return so be aware, once you enter pripyat the rest of the map is blocked off to you on that character
@@ashthepup6715 Thanks that's good to know!
This game so far has made me scream in terror and actually think about how i approach runs to earn credits. Just left the lesser zone but im loving it
Holy shit that tree pop in is horrible
also notice the powerlines... there seems to be no AA on them... either UE5 is trash in that regard or devs effed up big time...
the overall looks are mediocre... I just started a new vanilla CS playthrough and even the f-ing trees look exactly the same albeit perhaps with a somewhat higher resolution compared to CS - I bet you could overlay a CS tree with one of HoC and it would be a near perfect match
The game doesn't have dynamic shadows. I mean it. LOL
Glass anomaly doesn't hurt you if you crouch, or walk slowly through it. It's also bullet proof, so you can hide inside them in a tough firefights
