The best learning videos i've ever seen here in TH-cam Can you please make a video on how to lay out the hand rails of indoor stainless spiral stairs? Really appreciate in advance.. Thank you
Great video, you have done a very good job of explaining the methods that you use. You are obviously a master craftsman and know your trade well. Thanks for sharing and explaining so well.
I never use stainless steel and now I’m asking why not? Your work looked absolutely stunning, you have a great eye for design as well as a good welder. You know your stuff Superb video, amazing talent...lousy music, still subscribed.
Thank you , as a beginner I have find this video very useful, and even tools you are using are minimum ,so I recommend this video for anyone to begin stainless steel welding.👍👍
Dear it's all about the practice, the more you do the better you get. You have to give it try. If you learn from your mistakes only then you became good in that work. Thanks:)
I like the way and your process in welding tecniques..but i suggest that grinding the weld with grinder using flap disc #80 then #100 then last #120 ..you must set the grinder in semi flat position..it is better than what you demonstrate in your video.thank you for your very informative video..hope my suggestion will help you more..that all is base on my year experience in stainless steel fabricating and welding..
Thankyou bro,it is very interesting video i learned some thing from it,know i wan ask you one thing i am aluminium technician and i try to do stainless steel dustbin but is it possible to weld with normal arc welder?and the chemicals and regent needed for it.Thank you for all Nice Job.
Well done man 👍🏻, what an amazing and informative video yet very simple and exciting, can you make a separate and simple video on how to join pipes and square tubes at a different angls the right and flush way?! keep up the good work 💪🏻
If the work isn't too much than its not necessary. But if you do alot of stainless steel work then go with tig. It saves your alot of time in finishing. But again it comes to your skill, although tig is much easy compare to stick welding, but sometimes on the site job it's not always feasible to carry a tig machine along with you because of so much accessories, so it's good to have some hands-on practice with stick welder, so that your work never stops.
Dear any welding machine you can use, mine cost 5000₹ and bought 3 years ago and still working absolutely fine. The electrode varies according to the need. But mostly I use ss308 for stainless steel and E6013 for mild steel work.
Very good VIDEO, when welding stainless steel there is a chance for rust to start if you don't Passivate the weld area, do you Passivate or what do you do ? Thank you William Ambrogio Orange county, ca. Usa.
Thanks William. Yeah I that's is definitely a necessary work to do, but I mostly skip that process everytime. If it's a tig weld then it might surely cause some porosity but in stick weld it never happened to me. So if it's a stick weld then you really don't need to clean it with acetone or some other chemicals or sometimes flap disk. If it looks clean to naked eyes just go on. But in tig passivation is necessary. Thanks for being here :)
It's 60amps with 2.4 mm electrode. But I recommend you to play with the settings. I have some electrodes which works beautifully at 52-55 amps on 16 gauge and some at 60 amps. So this is also depend upon the manufacturer and type of coating they used.
Your skill level is high, for stick welding thin S S pipe, is hard to do. What electrode are you using, 308, 309, or ?, 3/32"?, amps 50, 60 ? Thanks William. GREAT VIDEO. From Long Beach, California.
Thanks for the compliment William. I am using ss308 , 2.5 mm rod thick and for the current starting from 1.5 mm I use 60amps and from there after with increase in wall thickness I usually increases the amps from 5-7 amps. But one thing you have to notice that I am using this setting with slightly fast hand movements. The main thing is how much time you stay onto the metal surface with the electrode at a particular spot. Too much time and there is a big hole, less time you stay it will not able to fuse the material properly. So beside the current settings it's also depends upon the hand movements. Good luck:)
You need stainless steel electrode according to the material grade. Usually SS308L works on both ss202 to ss308 grade. The ss347 works on rest of the grade. There are many others also but yeah you need different electrode.
I use ss308 having 2.5 mm dia at 60-70 amps depending upon material thickness. This electrode works well for ss304 and I even uses it on 202 also. No problem at all. Good luck.
How do I start polishing , because have just finished welding the bulstrades using the stainless steel and it's first project using the stainless steel pls help me out
Very well demonstrated!

What grade of electrode is used for welding stainless steel?
Sir which type of welding machine is best for stainless steel works please suggest me IGBt or Mosfet which is better
IGBT is the modern day technology so fo with that. If wanted good joints prefer tig not stick welding.

what criteria or kind of welding machine to use for stainless steel sir?
Do we need another kind of sticks to weld stainless steel or it's the same stick use to weld iron?
You need stainless steel electrode according to the material grade. Usually SS308L works on both ss202 to ss308 grade. The ss347 works on rest of the grade. There are many others also but yeah you need different electrode.
What company stainless steel we should use for grill ?
It doesn't matter at all. Only material thickness and grade matters. Always prefer 304 grade.
I would like ask a question
How can i restore stainless? When im grinding it, becomes dirty cause of it?
Durashine pro? To make it shine? Imma try this out
Dear full lokdon priod iam serched u tube how to make proprr joint today i got it from u
