11:40 The most annoying thing to me about this shot is that it's clearly a very warm light. Far warmer temperature than an actual train headlight would ever be. So while scrolling for movies for my mom to watch. I had seen this movie and decided 'fuck it, she probably won't care if I put it on. My mom is a stroke victim who me and my brother takes care of daily. She has pretty much lost all motor functions on her right side and can't really do anything aside from make noises or say the word 'no'. This is important. When I put the movie on, we would watch it (I was working on stuff as I work at home). And so what ended up happening was that we were like 30 minutes into the movie and I believe we got to the train scene. My mom looked over to me, tried to get my attention and pointed at the TV. She wanted me to change the channel because someone who *Literally has half a brain* could tell that this was complete dogshit. I then turned to Rhett and Link and she was happy again. I asked my mom if she was glad I got out of the movie. She nodded her head yes.
The only way this could work is if it was either a drama or a comedy written by sharp minds and talent like Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Any crass comedy is likely to turn something with potential into trash.
The better version of this idea is her being hired under false pretenses to teach him how to get the girl he likes and then have Jennifer Lawrence realize she actually likes this kid but he’s too young for her
I think the better version is to leave the premise the same, but she feels mega awkward and wrong about it the whole time and they have to fake it for the parents. She hasn't been doing much of note lately; she's listed as a producer and the director has a very bland/for-hire style. I'm guessing she's looking to score some easy cash by getting paid a percentage of the box office. (For a cheap comedy it doesn't have to earn much to be profitable.)

@Electricfishfan Yes, most porn consumers do not mind the title, there never was a shortage of such actressess, it reached this point because there's only so much the directors can come up with regarding porn plots and the old staples (pizza delivery, plumber, nurse, secretary etc.) became too corny. Stuff like fake taxi became borderline criminal and black couch variations also got a bad reputation since girlsdoporn downfall. Incest porn is what is left to not simply flood the websites with the standard [insert hair color] [insert body type] [insert most prominent sexual position] [insert finalization]. Regarding the higher amount of bodily harm cases, I don't really understand where you coming from for such association so I won't comment, I do agree porn addiction can lead people into researching content that is more dehumanizing to the actors involved

Movie companies are able to control how their comments look. If you ever see a trailer where the comments are mostly negative, check back in a day or two. Suddenly the comments will all be positive and with absurd amounts of likes on generic comments like "wow looks great." There are companies that you can pay to manipulate that stuff with bot swarms.
Depressing that you think comments are any indication of what any real humans actually think and that you can extrapolate any conclusions from them. Stop it

11:40 The most annoying thing to me about this shot is that it's clearly a very warm light. Far warmer temperature than an actual train headlight would ever be. It's clearly just a studio light, with a warm tone chosen to not overexpose her skin tone too much. Heaven forbid this tense scene makes her look not quite so fabulous. Fuck hollywood.

So while scrolling for movies for my mom to watch. I had seen this movie and decided 'fuck it, she probably won't care if I put it on.
My mom is a stroke victim who me and my brother takes care of daily. She has pretty much lost all motor functions on her right side and can't really do anything aside from make noises or say the word 'no'.
This is important. When I put the movie on, we would watch it (I was working on stuff as I work at home). And so what ended up happening was that we were like 30 minutes into the movie and I believe we got to the train scene. My mom looked over to me, tried to get my attention and pointed at the TV. She wanted me to change the channel because someone who *Literally has half a brain* could tell that this was complete dogshit.
I then turned to Rhett and Link and she was happy again. I asked my mom if she was glad I got out of the movie. She nodded her head yes.
The only way this could work is if it was either a drama or a comedy written by sharp minds and talent like Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Any crass comedy is likely to turn something with potential into trash.

I think the better version is to leave the premise the same, but she feels mega awkward and wrong about it the whole time and they have to fake it for the parents. Then eventually she stands up for him/helps him stand up for himself and his current lifestyle or something and it's more about how messed up helicopter parents are and less about kidnapping and giving alcohol to basically a kid

So, after watching this, I thought of something: this feels like Lawrence’s attempt to be like Amy Schumer. Apparently she and Schumer are very good friends, and maybe Lawrence wanted to emulate her in her attempt to go to comedy. Why anyone would want to be Amy f-cking Schumer though, I have no clue.

I was lucky enough to find JBP at the right time in both his life and mine. Helped me a bit with working out some stuff. Then I started advancing in life and stopped following him for awhile and when I checked in on him again, oh boy, he really is a shell of his former self. You can still the good in him during the bits where he is giving life advice, but then he without fail goes into politics and quickly losses the plot.
What does this have to do with the video? Did I miss something?
