Thank you! I'm a 72 year old grandmother. My son told me I could do this even though I didn't want to learn how. I watched your video before I tried. I only had trouble reclipping the 2 front clips . Your how-to-loosen the backend gave me confidence! Thank you very much!

1-6-24 Grandma watched video in house and went outside and changed the engine and cabin filters. Perfect Video. Thank You for saving me money by doing it myself. Got filters on eBay!

The tab that you can’t see that he’s talking about in the video in the back is easy to remove once you unscrew the screw and separate the two pieces the hose from the air filter top of the box. Once you got an hour you can clearly see that tab fits under an arch built into the bottom half of the filter box. This is a great video. Thank you.

Thanks for this! I have done this a few times, but had forgotten about that tab at the back. And I never separated the two pieces, but just wedged and forced everything till I managed to get it done. So much easier to just loosen that screw and go from there.

I’ve had this car for nearly a decade and have always had a difficult time changing this air filter. I think I must not have known about the notch in the back. Made it super easy. Thanks!

Yes! I watched a few random videos of this on various "all inclusive years" and one had 5 clips (2010 has 4). The Philips screw is the key to ease of installment. One video even had they guy forcing the filter out without loosening the screw. It makes all the difference! My brother was a Honda mechanic and now has pancreatic cancer so I need to do the easy things myself rather than ask him. I love this video. It's simple, to the point and anyone can do it. Though I miss the days of big hood engines where everything was easy to get at!! haha I've always been a do it myself kind of girl, and still am at 60!

Your video helped SO much and your step by step instructions were perfect! Especially the tip on loosening everything. I was able to change the filter myself instead of paying the crazy high dealership price. Thank you SO much!!! Keep the how to videos coming!

Great video! Easy to follow. Jifffy Lube wanted $25 to do this. I got the filter for $10 a Wal-Mart and did it myself. Keep up the great videos for this Honda CR-V.

Well yeah, maybe in 2015 when you made the video the retainer clips went back on with gentle pushes. But now in 2021 they're rusty and old, and it took more than a gentle push for me. I checked carefully and determined everything was correctly in place before I forced some of the stubborn clips into place. Great video, thanks!

    Great Demonstration!!!!
I was trying to do it on my own and having great trouble; because I have big hands, getting that air filter out. Also was very concerned about damaging something way more expensive, at the end I thought about loosening the hose clamp to get me the space I needed to get the filter out. Now im confident! Thank you!!!!

Good video but next time you should specify that the tab goes in first while installing . There is no reason to jiggle things you just place the rear tab into the holder and then it goes right in place.

You know there is a plastic area in the corner most close to your body. Whether the shell should cover this protruding plastic, or let this protruding one display when finish?

Since you had the box out, the MAS air flow sensor was visible. Good time to spray the sensor with some MAS cleaner. Work smart not hard.
