He plays the beautiful parts very beautifully but the angry parts not angry enough. This piece is not a monolithic lullaby! One of the great principles of this impromptu is the range of emotions Schubert infuses in it and often times the great speed to which they change. My critique of this performance is that vacillation of emotion is poorly understood and/or expressed in many parts. The times when Lim does show emotional versatility, it pays off greatly.
