Returning from a trip to Toronto Ontario I tried to take a shortcut through some rural towns in PA
I was shocked how trashy and drug infested these old towns were, it felt unsafe and I could not wait to get out of there
More than likely they're democrat controlled cities.
What part of PA were you in? Most of rural PA is very old and dated. Take a trip up interstate 99 through Altoona , State College and go north on Route 15 from Williamsport to Mansfield. PA is a beautiful state. I would stay away from the big cities though. We have a Grand Canyon near Mansfield in Wellsboro and there’s a place called Benezette where you can go see Elk

I've been in almost every state, and the truth is, you can find an area that looks like some of these filmed, in every state. All of them have their poor trashy areas, and yet if you drive for a while you will come across affluent and beautiful neighborhoods, and well manicured communities in all of them. Trashy doesn't necessarily mean poor to me, it's more a state of mind, flying confederate flags and advertising their racism and lack of education proudly, trump flags everywhere, beer cans on the front lawn, and this kind of thing. You can find them in every state, EVERY state, not just the ones listed here. You would need to seek them out to film them, as this guy as done here. And most all states, or ALL of them also have issues with drug usage, homelessness, and alcoholism. This film could easily have been "examples of trashy" in every city. It seems unfair to label a city as "trashy" when it's probably just a neighborhood or two within that city. Just saying.

I had as co- worker from Toledo, OH, working in FL with me. Dude did nothing but smoke, drink coffee, play video games on his time off. I literally had to go to his house not just to give him a ride to work but had to literally bang of his door to wake his bummy ass up for work. Unshaved & wrinkled clothes @ work. I kid you not, dude use to say " i know im white trash, & i don't give a f##k. But dude was madd cool & down to earth, one of the best co- workers i" ve ever had..

@Platano0311 Don't by a house in heart of Fayetteville, but far West Fayetteville near the Hoke County line is nice, and places outside of Fayetteville like Hope Mill and Raeford are nice.
I'm from Minnesota and when I toured much of Texas, I loved Abilene. Austin did have good restaurants, but it's expensive there now.

Toledo and Little Rock looked good, based on road conditions shown in the video. That's how I judge cities nowadays. Most of the U.S., including wealthy areas, is trashy. No one cares about maintaining basic infrastructure. If you point this out to a politician, all you'll get is a blank stare -- as he reaches into your pocket to grab more of your money.

@@cashed-out2192 its also a HUB for a fairly VACANT region of the country. Surrounding areas are all rural. Alabama for example, every small town has EVERYTHING so theres no need to go to Montgomery. its a regional hub in Springfield. Like Dothan Alabama is for SE AL, SW GA and North Florida.. so even tho its a crappy town, its always got movement.

Waco TX used to qualify for this list but not anymore. Two big reasons are Chip & Joanna Gaines and Baylor University. Waco is night and day better than 20 years ago and getting better and better all the time .

Temporary low income residents are definitely a common denominator in these trashy places; they simply dont/cant invest much into a temporary community, esp if both partners work full time. That said, their service to our nation is invaluable.

Never been to Alabama but it seems to be a vacation destination for a lot of people I know from Michigan. Dauphin island is one and a lot of bass tournaments. Everyone talks about how beautiful the state is.

Based on his commentary in his videos, yes he does lean towards the red side, (which I honestly don’t really care about), but I know a lot of blue-sided people hate him.
There aren’t too many TH-camrs going in person to the Mexican borders and documenting what’s happening. There are going to be biased opinions on all these guys channels.

We own multiple properties in Oklahoma City and they are all very nice in good neighborhoods with great trash service. I don't think it should be on this top city list. There are white slums in so many cities. Oklahoma City has many great restaurants, including vegan restaurants and beautiful neighborhoods. I grew up in Chicago, which has one of the largest white ghettos. Did you skip the state of West Virginia or cities in California?
