With all the football you watch , you should have a few selective bets particularly on the more low key games you watch . You would definitely have an edge , probably best to avoid the major league games . Good luck to you , thanks for the great videos .Happy Christmas
First ground is ford meadow. Former home of Buckingham town. I spent many Saturday watching games at the ground. Former Arsenal player Chris Wreh even played there for a season.
such contrast though ; out in UK theres abundance of stadiums and clubs , even the clubs in the lowest of the leagues get sponsorship ; In India even top division team struggle to find sponsors lol ! Agree with The Buckingham Athletic shout, much bigger ground. Im in Leighton Buzzard. You should check out Leighton Town at some point. Nice little ground.
It's like the Lowland and Highland Leagues in Scotland, deciding when teams get relegated from the League which league they go to depending on where they are
The first ground is Buckingham Town. They enjoyed some success in the Southern League in the 80s & 90s …and yes you did access the ground waking down a narrow path with a garage in front.😅
I reckon if you contact Banbury United they’d be pretty accommodating. That is if you wanted to watch a game there. I can’t remember the channel but I know the chairman did an “interview” with a ground hopper on a match day
I've actually been to matches at 2 of the grounds. MK Dons and Banbury. The Banbury ground seemed to have a massive pitch - I guess it was an optical illusion.
I've watched your vids for years and I'm from Buckingham never once thought you'd walk straight past my house😂😂👍🏻👍🏻 and even visited my team brackley town
Hey sam. I have a big one for you! If you want so to see the massive atmosphere of 75.000 people visit the berlin derby on 28.01.23 in olympia stadium!
Brr! Best quit while you're ahead when betting. The National League North and South both expanded to 24 teams over the summer but I always thought 22 each was plenty. Regarding the peculiar definition of 'northern': Gloucester City currently play in North, and Bishop's Stortford have done in the past as well.
It's been mentioned below briefly but here's more info from a non-league fanatic living down south ! There are three "grounds" in Buckingham (maybe more if you include youth set ups!) - the first one at Ford Meadow was the old ground of Buckingham Town who were a decent non-league club but got evicted in 2012 and "did a Wimbledon" moving to MK where they renamed themselves Milton Keynes Robins and have since merged into Milton Keynes Irish, now in the Step 5 United Counties League Premier Division South. It appears the "abandoned stadium" may now belong to the nearby University. The second ground at Lace Hill is the home of Buckingham United as you correctly identified, but they play at Step 7 of the National Game system, just outside the pyramid in the Spartan South Midlands League Division Two. The most senior team in the town would therefore be Buckingham Athletic who play a level higher at Step 6 in the SSM League Division One across town at Stratford Fields. And I echo the shout to go to Leighton Town - my first game of this season was there, lovely little club, smashing burger too !! I don't live very near the area you visited but do know my non-league footy and like you love to get around and check new venues out - you are always welcome to contact me for help any time ....
Hi @@dash7148 , I am based in mid-Essex near Chelmsford (but I don't recommend City - horrible athletics stadium !) and there are so many Non-League grounds in the county from Step 1 at the National League right down to the Essex Senior League at Step 5. It's difficult to be objective as I went to many of them regularly with Billericay Town in the past and know them so well, our own New Lodge ground has been changed beyond recogniton in the last 6 years and now has a 3G pitch, which is great for this time of year - visitors always seem to be impressed by the facilities. At the other end of the scale, you should go to Roots Hall before the new owners take over and rebuild it and whilst Southend United are still Non-League ! The Isthmian League Premier (Step 3) and North (Step 4) have lots of Essex teams in and if you are looking for great burgers the ones at Stanway Rovers (ESL) and Heybridge Swifts (Isthmian North) are superb !! Look me up on Facebook and message me (Neil Matthew Wiltshire) then we can chat in more detail and I can send you a photo or two to whet your appetite. Happy Hopping !
You made an error Sam - you missed Buckingham Athletic, which are bigger club than Buckingham United and would have resembled a 'stadium' more than either of the first two you visited!
Go steady, big lad. I know it's a bit of fun and it's a great idea to spice-up a video but the, "you know how it is with those kind of things", was a little concerning. 🙂 Everything in moderation. You've a great thing going and a huge springboard to all kinds of footballing media.
The first ground was the old home of Buckingham Town, who moved out in 2011 and eventually became MK Irish via a meger
Love the videos you put out but especially these ground hopping videos. Keep up the awesome work you do.

Would be great to see you do some grounds in Kent, there some really good non league ones as well as Kents only league side.

One of my favourite video of yours! Local to me and a winning bet 👏👏👏
GO TO CRANFIELD UNITED. RESERVES ARE PLAYING TOMORROW!!
Great content Sam, well done on your £60 profit..

Are you still coming to Pittodrie for the game on Tuesday?

Hi Neil, I do vlogs of non league matches on my TH-cam channel dash71…..do you have any recommendations around your area?

See Rangers wouldn't let you down Sam, like they do me!! 🤣🤣🔴⚪️🔵
Can’t stand Stadium MK. It’s far far too big for the club and is atmosphere less
You made an error Sam - you missed Buckingham Athletic, which are bigger club than Buckingham United and would have resembled a 'stadium' more than either of the first two you visited!
I go watch Brackley Town and it is a great experience
Should get extra for getting on the pitch
Visited Buckingham with Havant town
won the bet !!
Oxford city were also in the national North At one point
May well be again given the rate of southern relegations.
MK DONNNNNNNNNS
Brilliant bet haha 🇬🇧 WATP
Up the Brackley
Been asking for a wall video for ages your probably sick of it and it goes wrong lol
I’ll get there eventually!!!

Best thing about this video was the absence of the usual nanny state virtue signalling "please gamble responsibly" pish. Good on ya lad 👍🏻😂
First
