Great video as always appreciate the effort it is true getting a flip reset while the ball going upwards better and much easier however there's common way pros get their flip reset when the ball travels downwards, you can see it in Rw9 goal vs KC in Swiss first game second goal around 2:38, this is unique where the flip used as a self-forward pass Daniel, Diaz, Rw9, Nwpo, Zen they use it now way more than before I promise it is abused a lot recently compared to a year ago, as for the clips I have only Daniel who did it frequently a year ago
Oh it’s definitely a skill you can learn I still think there are tons of things that can be refined in RL. I get flip resets like that all the time as well as chain resets so it’s not like I said it will always be bad but usually that causes the errors for people. Thanks for the feedback!
@@agapic445 Yeah these are very simple tips obviously players who are more capable in advanced mechanics would know otherwise but it’s something you learn from hours & grinding
Yes but something to note is what I said “Especially if you don’t manage the momentum correctly” meaning it’s possible to control the ball at speed while accelerating you just need the hours of doing that. Even I still accelerate a bunch in the air, if you’re trying to beat someone to the ball it only makes sense. But knowing how to manage the ball/your own momentum is huge. I’ve played KBM before & because of how stiff the input is I would say it’s a bit easier to touch the ball as soft as you’d like
Does holding powerslide for the reset give you any benefits vs holding Reverse? I know a lot of people use reverse and it helps them stay close to the ball very similarly to using powerslide. Is there scenarios where you would use one or the other or is powerslide just the better option always? Really appreciate the videos :)
The reason a flip reset works is because the car recognized the bottom of the ball as a surface correct? So in this case it should not be treated any differently than the wall or ceiling where you would also tap powerslide to prevent your car from spinning out while carrying a high momentum. I've seen many people say to brake which yeah you definitely could but makes no sense why'd you want to lower your speed or momentum. Most pros also have powerslide and air roll on the same bind meaning they've been unintentionally doing this without realizing maybe brake is what they think gives them their glue reset. Potentially if you have space and time then brake could help but I prefer to use powerslide since I perform my mechanics at supersonic speed majority of the time this way I don't lose speed.
great tips. i may be mistaken but i thought in a previous video u mentioned free air roll when coming in contact with the ball for a reset, which is what i been doing. should i switch to power slide or is it the same?
I can't Flip Reset yet, but when I do... I have Power Slide and Right Air Roll bound to the same trigger... is that going to be a problem when I start doing Flip Resets?

so whats the point of tip 2. It kinda flew over my head
The point is to bring awareness of this part of the wall. I’ve seen so many lower rank players including GCs get completely confused by this when on break away attempts at goal. It’s good to pay attention to it so you’re mindful of what kind of bounces it can have which is why I left the examples right afterwards
Wow. Yes good info
MnK or Controller?
Controller
can you add chapters in the video, it makles it more professional and usefull when rewatching the video.
I have automatic chapters on that usually works
1:41 "Wtf. Wtf??? WTF????" Wait wait wait. So holding accelerate while in the air, even if you weren't holding it on the ground will make you go forward??? That actually blew my mind.
