Hi Paul hope your well in terms of value I’d say so far the Mid as it’s all carbon etc, build wise and actual performance, not so sure. I reckon the Yokomo will be pretty good though. Thanks for watching fella
There’s a lot that’s not interchangeable with the original release in the video I did unboxing it I run off the items you can swap with the original, cheers :)
Cancelled my pre-order upon seeing what Yokomo released, although some parts are the same the car is very much different to the original and for me not really a re-re more of a tribute, great for those who never got a Yokomo back in the day. I also think compared to some of the other re-re's namely the MID and CAT it is vastly overpriced, even more expensive than the anniversary MID which has all carbon parts. Cool video tho, looking forward to the completed build.

Sorry you have been sick Andy! I hope you start feeling better very soon! I am kind of kicking myself for not getting one but I know nothing about them and Yokomo was not a huge thing here when I was growing up so I don't have any history or connection so I passed on it. It would still have been an interesting one to build. Have fun building up yours and by the time you are done I hope the voice and everything is doing better! Take care of yourself and feel better!

Apparently 95% of the rere parts are not interchangeable with the original version...
