how tf does Voulgaris call there with just 2 pair for his tournament life? i guess he figured he had blockers to a lot of sets....but still....he will be thinking about that for months. awful call.
I would think his reasoning came down to straight draws with some pair's and worse two pair's. Agreed with the price of the tournament, to risk it with two pair is bad, but then at the same time he knew that he wasn't drawing dead (well only to QQ, which is super thin) and if Kats has a set or straight, he stil has outs.
I think he talked himself into believing that Kats didn't have a straight and that Kats wouldn't do this with a set, so it was either worse two pair, some draws or a bluff.

A set would've check raised the flop or turn, way too wet to let a river peel. Tollerine could only beat a bluff, both players knew that. The straight was repped, end of story.

Kenney you have to call at least half the time. Especially way up in your range with trips. I could see folding JJ or QQ there. Not A10. you can't beat Kenney if you are folding trips to him.
