The organizers are at least partly at fault for demanding a buy-in of $300k. If they had asked just $300, the same players might not have taken it so serious.
So he both knows that Schindler wouldn’t call with worse, yet also is immensely curious what hands Schindler takes this benign (defend bb, check flop, check turn, lead river) line with? That doesn’t seem contradictory to you? Doesn’t Schindler have a ton of 6x hands for value? And he just snap folds all?
Giancarlo Disalvo shit bro, not defending his play just suggesting an explanation other than him colluding with Schindler cos he’s backing him which is obviously not true
Not to mention any perceived value (I don’t think there is personally) in seeing Schindler’s hand would have to be entirely offset by the entire table seeing your hand
One of the most boring final tables to watch, maybe it gets more exciting after bubble bursts. Completely understand these guys are competing for 6M and a huge bubble so I’d probably play just as tight and tight lipped. That being said as a viewer this is just awfully boring tv poker, maybe not worth being televised
this is high level poker, everyone is thinking about ranges, combinations, what hands to turn into bluffs etc. everyone is trying not to make a single mistake, so much to learn from these crushers, if you find this boring just go find some KK vs AA preflop all in "exciting poker"
Neo Cheung does any of that indepth analysis come through on the broadcast? Outside of what schulman briefly mentions if that? The answer is no, how would I know what analysis each of them is going through while tanking for 3 minutes every decision? secondly they are all clearly tightening up until the bubble bursts, use all the icm jargon you want, its called scared money until you ladder up. Not criticizing any of their strategy as I’d do the same, but my point remains, super boring uninteresting final table to watch.
yo these are some amazing plays, it makes sense when you can see the whole cards but as a noob inspiring player this just goes to show you the level between low & high stakes. Just Incredible but do not try none of these river overbets in your home game unless you're up against a good reg
@Rixel no its like a 600k bubble, if he raises he´s only getting called by the same hand or is losing to quads. If this was earlier in the tournament or the bubble had busted he probably raises.
Budigga knows Schindler is not calling with anything other then a queen as he assumes he has no bluffing range there so calling to extract information on Schindler seems pretty good
You have to understand that these guys have played and studied many hands with each other on the high roller circuit, thus it's very important to remain balanced which at times even means checking down the nuts. This sacrifice is EV will allow us to bluff successfully later on.
@@milkou9919 Once the flop has already come down, odds and assumptions are altered. Prior to the flop happening, given somebody has a pocket pair, sure 1 in 407. Ooo I wonder who's gonna win it?
All I wanted to see was the Jason v Leon exchange!!!!
You can really tell what these guys are all thinking...
“Beep boop boop beep beep deep de de de de deep boop boop - This. Action. Does. Not. Compute.”
Boomer fart
The guy with the pink hair is a flamer
stelth poker 🤣🤣🤣 seriously ?
I love this period of poker tv when the players still technically had human flesh.
Balding and pink hair, awesome...
Leon is playing with Aussie matts money.
This is like watching Computers play poker.
Oh well, HSP with Gabe Kaplan is over and never come back...

Where are the other episodes? [2020]
I think they took them down from youtube to put them on their website with a paywall
I remember a time when poker players were actual human beings.
38 : 53 is that dealer a vampire wtf even koon is dark compared to him
So is buddiga backing Schindler? That river just call is outrageous
think he just wanted to see schindlers hand, since he knew his raise wouldnt get called by worse anyway

Maybe he thought that he didn't have enough bluffs to raise and he would only raise with QQ, 66 and J10s or something like that
What's the point in "Cards up" if every hand you don't see all the cards.
Excellent video
Koon didn't feel any pain because he went NUMB ! .. lol

Koon is wired on something. Eyes popping out of his head, grinding his teeth and licking his lips
George Teichroeb I agree
as a former poker player who´s been in the game for 10 years i can tell you that 60-70% of the high stakes players takes Adderal.
I dont understand the way Buddiga play that full house in the river. Why calling if nothing else beat you, unless your playing with a friend.
