Great video. I plan on doing the same access for for my 2018 camaro 2ss. I just got code p069e (fuel pressure control module) and after further investigation and car symptoms, i think it’s my fuel pump. Instead of dripping the exhaust and driveshaft, i’m going to access it through my back seat👍🏻
@@bmanbizzle4135 Yes do the fuel pump and buy a new fuel level sensor for the pump. Mine came with no fuel level sensor and had to transfer it from my old pump. Found out it was the actual level sensor since the pump was brand new.
Thanks for the tips!! I was able to swap out my fuel pump in less than an hour with this trick! Way better than having to drop the entire rear end.

Cut mine out in my 2010 when I upgraded for my supercharger back about 2012. It worked great.

I got same code 2016 2ss was it your fuel pump?
@@bmanbizzle4135 it was my fuel level sensor. But i replaced both the fuel pump and the level sensor on the fuel pump.
Okay mine isn't pumping fuel to the engine won't pump at all so I think it's fuel pump got spark and ground so has to be fuel pump on mine

Okay it's in the shop rn, my fuel level sensor was reading fine do you think it still could be the level sensor aswell?

How did you know it was the fuel pump ? Did it hesitate while accelerating ? Or ?
They were repairing a fuel leak, not a pump fault.
