My grandfathers age during WW2 was 24 when he was in myanmar while subash chandra bose was forming azad hind faug(indian army) and they were fighting against british in delhi.

I always thought it was odd that these were chambered in 45acp. 9mm seems like it would’ve better because it would be more common in the places they dropping these pistols and you could hold more in the handle

America was mostly producing .45 ACP due to wartime production needs and also 9mm is higher pressure and this gun is literally folded sheet steel
