You should, for the remaining month, make a note of how you feel about bleaching everyday and then either see if one answer sticks out or if yes/no are even then average out the answers. Or… flip a coin.
Have you ever thought about doing highlights on your regrowth instead of a platinum? Would almost have a baylage look to it with your current ends! Any way you decide to go with your next look you’ll look stunning!
I also think that the roots you currently have are a great opportunity to try out new colorful combinations- for exsample rainbow hair would look very interesting with your natural roots. Letting your hair grow out takes a lot of time and this hair style now is something you never had until now, right? You can always and "quickly" go back to full platinum and your trusted rainbow shades, that you love and knew for so long, but maybe it would be fun to try out more with the current, fresh and "unknown" hair you have. Any decision would be wonderful to watch though and Iam looking forward to colorful days!
Someone commented on a previous video that you should do an ombre and I think that would look very good on you, something that gradually fades from your natural hair to the platinum blonde so that way it would still look good even you don't retouch your roots.
Honestly keep growing it! Its such an awesome journey and the longer you go the more achievement you will feel. If you can handle it id love to see you completely grow it out to at least shoulder length then cut all the blonde off. Imagine feeling all your virgin hair at its healthiest state , would be unreal 😍
Maybe, bleach it once to get a restart and then you could redo the whole regrow process. You could compare to see if you have more growth the second year than the first. It would be a neat comparison.
I love the brown with the 2 blonde pieces, I can’t remember if you explained the whole growing it out and then re bleaching it at some point but I feel like it would be so sad to get this far and bleach it all
yeah she said last year she would do a year if she could, she said at first she was going to bleach it before the billie eilish concert but she didn't and is going for a year☺️
I’m going to a hairdresser to get my year of roots blonde. I haven’t had the time to do my own and my husband used to do it for me but he works two jobs. So yes! I can’t wait to see how you bleach a years worth.
I bleach my hair only once every 6 months, sometimes longer. I get a balayage that grows out nicely and just color the ends like you've been doing. Lower maintenance and saves on all the hair damaging too.
I would say keep growing and see how far you can go! I've been growing mine out since last April because I almost fried mine off with bleach. My regrowth is almost bob length 🙂
I prefer bleached hair with roots. I dye my hair purple, pink, blue etc all the time, but i bleach my roots only once a year. At the end of every year i look like "kurt-cobain-ordered-from-wish" :D I cut my hair short in January, now it's back at my collarbone. Bleaching once a year helped me to grow out my hair. I think with this method i will be able to grow my hair to chest-length during 2023. Applying colour to bleached hair with roots is so much easier, i love that i dont have to section my hair. In conclusion: bleach your hair in august and from there on every 12 months 🤔
do what makes you happy. it would be cool to see how you go about bleaching these longer roots with the blonde tips. i would probably just do foils lol. like baby lights.
I think you should wait longer. I know it's very hard, but I think it would look great with just the tips blonde. I started not bleaching last october, except the front part excactly like you and my hair is sooo much healthier and thicker and I got my curl pattern back, yes! Thanks for the inspo!
I loved the Pretty in Pink shade you did so much, I ordered it and dyed my pixie that color! Today I ran an errand and got 3 compliments! 🥰 Thanks for trying such awesome colors. My hair appreciates it. 💕
Have you thought of getting a heavy highlight instead of the full bleach? That way you can get it touched up only a few times a year and have it still look nice in between touch ups. And you can still dye it any colour you want :)
I personally bleach my roots once every 3-6 months, it gives my hair the break it needs without getting too dark , I do also have pretty long hair so the platinum is more apparent on myself than it is on you as of right now.
I absolutely love your dark hair. I went darker . The blonde was just too much for me. So I’m back on the dark side . You look absolutely stunning with any color :)
Yay you finally tried punky! I use their direct dyes all the time. They are my fav. And yes I think it’s time to do your roots! I been growing my hair out with you! Same style lol.
Absolutely yes to bleaching your roots again!!! I love the full platinum bob idea!! You can always grow it all out again, this year has gone by so fast and still you have so much new length!! and I can't say I'm not curious to see if you could grow it even longer!
Yessssss bleach it sooo readddddy for it !!! I think with the roots your more limited and I miss all the crazy colors !! I like the money piece it’s cute and been fun but definitely proud I went a year without bleach and now I only use bleach every 3 to 4 months so just give better care I’m excited for you to do it
I think you should go all platinum again but then grow it out again. Like maybe only bleach your roots every 6 months or so (not including the front pieces)
I hope you keep growing your natural hair. Having the front sections all blonde creates a nice frame to your hair. The regrowth looks great with any colour you do and your hair is super healthy. I wouldn’t bleach it if I were you.
4:18 i am in the same boat with the contemplating on continuing to grow out my hair or bleaching it. i stopped bleaching it around the time you did and we have about the same grow out length. as my hair grows more and more I CANT DECIDE WHETHER OF NOT I WANT TO GROW IT OUT OR BLEACH IT AGAIN. i’m literally known for having purple hair and i don’t know what id do without it LOL. indecisiveness at its finest 😣.
I would love to see you with all over platinum hair. I have been using schwarzkopf blond me bleach and tone cool additive with my bleach. My hair turns out white in 1 go instead off bleaching and toning
Your outgrowth inspired my to grow out my roots. I love the money pieces with platinum perimeter all around. Maybe do a video on how to achieve a soft outgrowth of natural hair.
I would say wait for like the 6 week mark, basically until you would touch up the front section then bleach it all! But really no matter what you decide you look amaze balls! Love all your looks!
Let It Grow! Haha, this is coming from a sober person who very much lives with a "one day at a time" mantra so I may be super biased! I'd love for you to see how much healthy virgin hair you can get. BUT!! I really miss the rainbow dye! I wish you could do both! Also, I would love a side by side before and after at the end of each video so that we can see a comparative result!
I am over here all excited and it isn't even me doing video's lol. YES! Bleach it please? I wish we were closer and actual friends because I need to bleach my ends.
Let it grow out. That's what I'm doing with my hair. I'm not bleaching my hair till it's long enough to cut the blonde out. November will be my 1 year I havnt bleached it. But once I can get it all cut out I'm gonna start over and bleach it all again.
i heard this quote one time that if you flip a coin, when it's in the air you realize what answer you are hoping for, so maybe do it and see if bleaching your regrowth is what you're really hoping for!
I would try and keep growing it out until you cant keep your hands off it anymore and bleach it when that day come! If its in september its still one month more of "healthier" hair! 😅
You should totally do half and half if you like your natural color! Dye the bottom half of one side to your natural and then bleach the other side and have fun :)
I just really think that doing an ombré before bleaching your whole grout (if that's what you decide in the end) would be sooooooo cool specially if you try a fantasy color in your ombre
Not going to lie, I do miss watching you dye your hair with vivids (not sure you want to do that again) but I’ll obviously still watch you no matter what you decide 😊
I like your roots! I really like the application youve been doing with the front too! You already know it’s gonna be soooooooo hard to bleach that regrowth 😅 I tried the whole “only bleach every 3-6 months” and believe me, it didn’t work out well. It caused just as much breakage (if not more) than if i were to bleach once a month. You have to be even MORE careful about overlapping. The only way to prevent breakage is to apply it with the platinum card technique. But that’s impossible to do alone.
Definitely want to see the on year of regrowth bleaching!! ALSO, Guy Tang vivids are my favourite ones I've used so far!!! They deposit a lot of color so it's very very pigmented. They do last really well though, which I love, but may be an issue if you want the color to fade quickly.
I'm with @EnyaTotem I'd like to see awesome rainbow random colors every so often on your natural roots with ur bleached fronts. I think it'd b cool, like a more grown out shadow root, u could do so much with it!
First thing is just a reminder that no matter what you choose you are always so beautiful! I think bleaching highlights into the length of your hair could be a fun in between sort of option. More platinum canvas at the ends and less near the roots so it blends seamlessly and you don't have to bleach as often. I'm tempted to bleach my roots too(similar regrowth situation)but I'm reminding myself that it's really hard when you want to change colors to not damage the hair with remover.
have you ever considered maybe the idea of balayaging the brown part? so you get some brown & blond and the face framing layers along with it? I'm blonde but naturally brown & i've been letting my roots grow out and considering balayaging the regrowth so i can continue to enjoy the mix of brown & blonde on my head lol
I have been inspired by you to grow out my hair and just have the money pieces bleached I really love yr natural against the blonde pieces I'm having the rest of my hair root matched and just have fasion colours in the front
I'm on team bring up the blonde a bit to do a more ombre look, so that way you don't need to do your roots as often. I'd consider trying this toner out since i would like to try to use some semi-permanent toners since i've been using the ion bright whites since october.
I feel you on the root dilemma! I had an overlapping accident a few months ago and fried a huge chunk of my hair in the back (it's about 10cm long now). I said I'd let it grow out and cut it (I have a bit shorter hair than you), but then once I hit 2cm I give in, it just look so harsh and awfull when I wear my hair back in a low bun, and that's my go to hairstyle. So extremely torn!
Keep letting it grow! Just wait until you absolutely can’t take it anymore after the one year mark ❤️ I stopped dying my hair last April and have made it like 15 months so far
At the end of the day, it is your hair and I’m glad that you share your journey. However I have darker hair and I like when people do rainbow and vividly colored hair alongside darker hair. Have you considered highlights?
You should, for the remaining month, make a note of how you feel about bleaching everyday and then either see if one answer sticks out or if yes/no are even then average out the answers. Or… flip a coin.
That bleach is like a marshmellow fluff consistency!! Also, finally seeing the one-year-growth bleaching would be ✨satisfying✨
Let your hair keep growing!!!
Yaaass!! More growing out!! You can dye the tips in cool new creative ways :)
Have you ever thought about doing highlights on your regrowth instead of a platinum? Would almost have a baylage look to it with your current ends! Any way you decide to go with your next look you’ll look stunning!
Came here to say this too! It would also look great with the money piece
I think that would be the best of both ways
Definitely this!!!
That’s what I’m doing with my regrowth!! Baylage it and color the lighter ends fun colors
Exactly what I did and I'm really satisfied with the outcome
I also think that the roots you currently have are a great opportunity to try out new colorful combinations- for exsample rainbow hair would look very interesting with your natural roots. Letting your hair grow out takes a lot of time and this hair style now is something you never had until now, right?

I like the idea of just highlighting the grown out parts that way you can still do fun colors on the highlights but continue growing it out. 💕
Been watching you for years!
I think you should do 2 years bleach free! I bet your hair would grow soooooo much! Love the blonde fronts 😏
Let them grow. I really think you should go all the way. That way you are starting on an evenly healthy canvas
Maybe, bleach it once to get a restart and then you could redo the whole regrow process. You could compare to see if you have more growth the second year than the first. It would be a neat comparison.
This is a great idea!
Oooo I like this idea
I love the brown with the 2 blonde pieces, I can’t remember if you explained the whole growing it out and then re bleaching it at some point but I feel like it would be so sad to get this far and bleach it all
yeah she said last year she would do a year if she could, she said at first she was going to bleach it before the billie eilish concert but she didn't and is going for a year☺️
Ikr I am in the same situation with my hair where it's my natural color and I want to bleach and dye it but I feel guilty hahaha
Let it grow! I’m a couple months into my grow out from damage journey. I love watching you go thru the process.
I definitely think you should bleach your roots soon! I miss the bleach videos so much. They were my favourite 💗
Are we not gonna talk about your background? I love this!!!!! So simple and mAkes you POP
Of course, I'm gonna vote for the bleaching! 😉😎
I would say keep growing and see how far you can go!
I've been growing mine out since last April because I almost fried mine off with bleach. My regrowth is almost bob length 🙂

I honestly think you should do a balayage type dye, and then keep letting it grow until the thickness of your hair is even on both sides ☺️
I loved the Pretty in Pink shade you did so much, I ordered it and dyed my pixie that color! Today I ran an errand and got 3 compliments! 🥰 Thanks for trying such awesome colors. My hair appreciates it. 💕
i really like your natural hair with the front bleaches section
Keep letting it grow out!!!!
I love the natural color especially with the pastel pieces and ends
No leave the back natural, u have done so well and I like your bangs being platinum
I like the different background!
Have you thought of getting a heavy highlight instead of the full bleach? That way you can get it touched up only a few times a year and have it still look nice in between touch ups. And you can still dye it any colour you want :)
Idk I really like your growth and the bleached bangs is a lewk but honestly it’s whatever you feel makes you happiest Aislinn
I’m team keep growing, or maybe highlights? Especially if ur only gonna do it 1-2 times a year. But do whatever you feel is best love you Aislinn
I personally bleach my roots once every 3-6 months, it gives my hair the break it needs without getting too dark , I do also have pretty long hair so the platinum is more apparent on myself than it is on you as of right now.
If you wanna do it GO FOR IT ✨✨✨💖
I vote to let it continue to grow! Your natural hair is so beautiful and it would be fun to watch it get longer ♥️
I LOVE the new lighting set up, its so flattering!!
Same style lol.
it would be so fun to see you bleach your roots! but honestly, i love the natural color of your hair, so either way will be awesome!
Absolutely yes to bleaching your roots again!!! I love the full platinum bob idea!! You can always grow it all out again, this year has gone by so fast and still you have so much new length!! and I can't say I'm not curious to see if you could grow it even longer!
I’d like to see you bleach your roots. I’m ready for full rainbow hair again❤️🔥
Yessssss bleach it sooo readddddy for it !!! I think with the roots your more limited and I miss all the crazy colors !! GIRLLLLLLL KEEP GROWING YOUR HAIR OUT DONT STOP!!!!
I hope you keep growing your natural hair. Having the front sections all blonde creates a nice frame to your hair. The regrowth looks great with any colour you do and your hair is super healthy. I wouldn’t bleach it if I were you.

Your outgrowth inspired my to grow out my roots. I love the money pieces with platinum perimeter all around.
Maybe do a video on how to achieve a soft outgrowth of natural hair.
Please keep growing it out, I love watching the new growth next to the blonde
I would say wait for like the 6 week mark, basically until you would touch up the front section then bleach it all! But really no matter what you decide you look amaze balls! Love all your looks!
bleach!! you've been so patient and it will open up a lot of cute hair colors for fall
Ahhh we love a root bleaching video as I'm bleaching my roots lol 😊
Let it grow!
Love your hair and I’m curious how it will go if you keep growing it out
Bleach it all
Let it go! Grow naturally and start all over. Clean slate. 🖤🖤
Let them grow and when it's long enough then cut of dead ends and then bleach it so you have fresh and healty hair
OMG ARE THOSE SLIPKNOT PLUGS 💜💜😍😍
Let It Grow! Haha, this is coming from a sober person who very much lives with a "one day at a time" mantra so I may be super biased! I'd love for you to see how much healthy virgin hair you can get.

I say keep growing it out. Start with all fresh non-bleached hair
Let it grow out. That's what I'm doing with my hair. I'm not bleaching my hair till it's long enough to cut the blonde out. November will be my 1 year I havnt bleached it. But once I can get it all cut out I'm gonna start over and bleach it all again.

I’ve always wanted to be a at home hair dyer, and since I’ve watched your videos I feel so prepared, thank you so much, you are an inspiration❤️
I just really think that doing an ombré before bleaching your whole grout (if that's what you decide in the end) would be sooooooo cool specially if you try a fantasy color in your ombre
Keep growing it out🥺 poor babies look so healthy
I personally would love to see you bleach it, I think it would look awesome and be cathartic
Keeping growing it and see how long you can wait for!!! I feel like you could wait another year to get the length and then go platinum again
Not going to lie, I do miss watching you dye your hair with vivids (not sure you want to do that again) but I’ll obviously still watch you no matter what you decide 😊

Keep growing your roots 🤍 Loved this video!
your outgrowth looks so gorgeous! it blends really seamlessly. definitely one of my favorite looks on you! ur stunning. 🥺🤍
Let it keep going, fight through it and get a full clean canvas to do it from the start
Can't wait to see you bleach all your hair and do all over fun colors again ❤️❤️❤️
Definitely want to see the on year of regrowth bleaching!! ALSO, Guy Tang vivids are my favourite ones I've used so far!!! They deposit a lot of color so it's very very pigmented. They do last really well though, which I love, but may be an issue if you want the color to fade quickly.
Definitely bleach it! I just saw your video of using Guy Tang toner......made me drool. I want that nice sheet white for you friend. 💜
Honestly I don't really care what you decide to do. I just like watching you do hair. So whatever you do I will be here!
I'm with @EnyaTotem I'd like to see awesome rainbow random colors every so often on your natural roots with ur bleached fronts. I think it'd b cool, like a more grown out shadow root, u could do so much with it!

Sweetie, you do whatever makes you happy 😊 ❤️
I like this answer, thank you 🥰
Cuuuute!!! Tbh if you dyed it all platinum and then went pastel pink that would be adorable ( been thinking of doing that myself)
I let my roots grow out for over a year and recently lifted them I regret it soooo much. Don’t do it until you really want to!
Why do u regret it? And same ive been growing out my roots for a year
I feel you on the root dilemma! I had an overlapping accident a few months ago and fried a huge chunk of my hair in the back (it's about 10cm long now). Love coming home from a long day at work (I am a veterinary nurse) and seeing that you've uploaded a new video!!
Grow it out Grow it out Grow it out
Peach is you're color. I loved that color on you.✌✌
BLEACH IT!!!
Keep letting it grow! Just wait until you absolutely can’t take it anymore after the one year mark ❤️ I stopped dying my hair last April and have made it like 15 months so far
I would love to see you do highlights!
your new background is cute!! i like it!
Yes bleach your roots been waiting for this video x
