I appreciate your position on finances. It took me WAY too long to develop the “if I can’t afford to pay cash for it I don’t need it” mentality. Took a while to get out from what’s considered normal debt - credit cards, vehicle loans - and build up a savings account but I don’t want to ever go back. And you’re spot on with the single person thing. I got lucky and bought a house before everything went crazy. No way I’d be able to do it alone now. Glad you’re renting until you find what you want and not settling for less!
I had so much debt 5 years ago. I did a ton of research on how to make a plan and pay it off. It’s definitely not easy and this economy makes it even harder 🫠

I’m a stay at home mom. I’m with my toddler all day and I never see anyone else. It can be very isolating, I understand. And I talk to my cats all the time too.
I have moved 17 times, criss crossing the US, I always got depressed about 6 months after the move. I think it is because of all the stress of moving and figuring out all the new things of living somewhere new. Hang in there it will get better.
Anyone filming at home needs to make sure that (a portion of) their rent is listed as a business expense. Aislinn's need to have a dedicated room as her filing studio is a great example of why this is important. An accountant is a great person to talk to about how to make sure you're not overpaying in taxes.
I am so sorry to hear of your situation with no social interaction. I am in the same boat. I may talk to a actual live person twice a month. This has been going on for years. My dogs are my audience. It's horrifyingly lonely being left alone with your mind. I am sending the biggest virtual hug. No one should have to live this way. I've lost almost all of my friends over the years. I use bleach powder mixed with shampoo (no developer) and it removes blue/ stained green like magic, I've done it multiple times, no clue if its bad for you though but my hair always feels the exact same as before. None of my natural hair colour gets lifted only the colour so I have no clue how it works but it just does on my hair
I'm not gonna say you inspired me to dye my hair... but you 1000000% gave me the confidence that I could do it from home!! I've gotten SO many compliments on it and I love it so much, it's such a vibe. I bleached it, sectioned it in 3 horizontal sections, and put hot pink on top, teal in the middle, and purple on the bottom. It's a WHOLE aesthetic and its soooooo me!! Thank you for your videos. You could rent a room somewhere and work for yourself, and I’m sure you’d be able to build your clientele super fast because of your skills with rainbow and vivid hair colors!

Ugh I feel you with the housing situation. My friend is a realtor and actually owns a lot of property. He told me that unfortunately the prices will continue to go up. He doesn’t think they’ll go down at all. Even the homes in Texas are expensive now 😢

I work in real estate and I would really recommend buying as soon as possible if you can. If your rate is high, refinance when it drops! You’ll be building equity in the meantime and you’ll be gaining so much more money that way.

Also I've just tried colour undo on my hair that was pre bleached and damaged as well as healthy and purple at the same time and now I'm a copper blonde ready for new dye and my hair feels healthier x

I’m in Canada , but it’s the same here. I feel so bad for renters, my husbands cousin is a single dad and currently has a roommate and he wants to be out on his own and I said that for sure I could look online and find him an affordable place and holy good god I couldn’t believe the price of a 2-3 bedroom apartment, actually all apartments are so over priced. We bought our house in 2019 and thank god we did because we got it in a foreclosure for 43,000 dollars and with my in laws owning a contracting company they did a gut job and it’s all brand new, but crazy enough our new property tax assessment came ina. Few weeks ago and damn it’s assessed at over 130,000 now, and we absolutely did not put that kind of money into it. It’s outrageous, so my heart goes out to you and others who are in this situation. I hope you guys find the perfect home. And f**k hate watchers, they can kiss my fat white arse 😂 you rock, I love your content you motivate and inspire me in my hair journey! If you're doing house renovation stuff definitely pixel the windows, street etc so even when someone is hate watching it (whyever someone would do that but it's the internet after all) they can't gather information about you and you stay safe. Also in germany the housing market is absolutely unbelievable as well. We barely found an apartment and alone I couldn't even afford one at all. Best of luck for your house hunting in two years! You are making good choices! The subscription plan to feel safer also does help with two things at a time bc it will afford you with some extra money, even if it's not much :) I'm happy for you! And I relate so hard to the 'cluttery' working situation that really was inpleasureable during lockdown for me, bc I usually work hospitality and couldn't do that at that time. So I had to reaccomodate and create an at home working routine in a one room appartment which just isn't for me really. Also, look at these curls!

There is definitely a lot to consider in buying a house, have you tried a rent to own house?

This housing situation is so similar to my position here in australia! We bought land and planned to build a house in 2020, the day before we signed the contract, they reevaluated our land and cut down the size by 23%! So we bailed on that and decided to buy an existing house however the price of existing houses were the same cost as it was to build a new one so we found new land which was smaller than the last one AND more expensive by 53K as land prices have just gone crazy! Our build cost is 100K more too and the interest rates have increased our mortgage by $400 in the last 4 months. If it keeps going, I just don’t know how we’re supposed to live. It’s just so depressing and stressful

Hope your kitty is OK! It's heartbreaking when one of our family members isn't doing the best. I had a cat with kitty diabetes and that was so tough making sure we were home to feed her and give her her vetsulin shots twice a day. Your cat is very lucky to have such a caring cat mom! ❤

I use Color silk # 05 ultimate blonde its a cheap box dye. I've used this brand for years. I had blue hair that faded to a green like yours and I just dyed my hair that blond and all the blue is gone. Also I do have naturally blonde hair and I've never bleached or used any of the extras you do, mostly because I don't know much about them and dont have the money to try them out. I use punky colour 3 in 1 shampoo conditioner in different colors to dye my hair different colors. I am looking to try others once I'm able to go and look at what is available. I like watching your videos to see what others do with coloring and treating their hair and whatnot. Good luck in your new place and new filming room! And job hunting! I’m somewhat on the same boat too. I work from home and don’t socialize as much as i wish or leave the house. My boyfriend is a loner too and we’re both introverts, but I miss socializing like I did before covid happened.

I work a good paying job full time, but I can't even afford an apartment on my own because prices are so high. Everything went up... just not our wages.

I honestly recommend getting a job when you move to a new place! It’s really easy to make friends at work and when you say you’re new in town people (if they’re nice) will recommend their favorite spots. That’s what I did when I moved and it’s helped me meet people and get socialization because I need that. I work at a gym which is great bc I also get a free membership, the culture tends to be really nice people, and the hours are flexible so 10/10 recommend

The goal is to find a house to rent, but who knows? I just know there's bigger more affordable places our there. I also get the socially isolated thing. I've lived in a new city for almost 2 years and besides the rare phone conversation or my dad coming to visit, I'm home...alone. It gets old QUICK. Maybe try a bleach bath on the blue/green bits and so happy that you found a place and have your own filming place also here in the UK houses are not cheap at all specifically when everything going up and wages just stay they same life is hard especially when you work a lot and nothing to show for it
So one thing about the ion bond additive is it brings your developer down from a 20 to a 10-15 volume. That’s why it didn’t develop as light as it would normally with 20 volume on its own.
Housing is so f***Ed WORLDWIDE. I agree so much... I live in Western Australia and we decided to build during covid. It's been coming up to 2 years and the house is still not done. There was price increases between then. The interest rates went up so much, it went from $500 Aud a week and now our mortgage is over $713 Aud a week and that's for a 4x2 house on a tiny 315 sqm block 😢 so so hard. So I can really relate. I have 2 kids and work full time and childcare alone is $880 (after government subsidy and that's one kid in full time public school and 1 kid in full time daycare) a fortnight aarghhhh. I love your videos and your personality. Your technique for bleaching your roots is what saved me lots of money. The salons I've been to never get my hair right. I also use the ion bond builder which will decrease the volume of the developer which could be why your hair didn't lift as well, so I've been told. I am not a professional.

Do you watch Bobby hair studios? I use her method for bleaching my roots but I added cotton wall between sections. The k18 mist was a game changer and I love how she levels up her lightener as she goes. My hair is growing back now even thought I'm still doing my roots every 5 weeks.

I’m a stay at home mom. I’m with my toddler all day and I never see anyone else. It can be very isolating, I understand. And I talk to my cats all the time too.
I have moved 17 times, criss crossing the US, I always got depressed about 6 months after the move. I think it is because of all the stress of moving and figuring out all the new things of living somewhere new. Hang in there it will get better.
Anyone filming at home needs to make sure that (a portion of) their rent is listed as a business expense. Aislinn's need to have a dedicated room as her filing studio is a great example of why this is important. An accountant is a great person to talk to about how to make sure you're not overpaying in taxes.
I am so sorry to hear of your situation with no social interaction. I am in the same boat. I may talk to a actual live person twice a month. This has been going on for years. My dogs are my audience. It's horrifyingly lonely being left alone with your mind. I am sending the biggest virtual hug. No one should have to live this way. I've lost almost all of my friends over the years. I use bleach powder mixed with shampoo (no developer) and it removes blue/ stained green like magic, I've done it multiple times, no clue if its bad for you though but my hair always feels the exact same as before. None of my natural hair colour gets lifted only the colour so I have no clue how it works but it just does on my hair
I'm not gonna say you inspired me to dye my hair... but you 1000000% gave me the confidence that I could do it from home!! I've gotten SO many compliments on it and I love it so much, it's such a vibe. I bleached it, sectioned it in 3 horizontal sections, and put hot pink on top, teal in the middle, and purple on the bottom. It's a WHOLE aesthetic and its soooooo me!! Thank you for your videos. I’m a mortgage underwriter and yes, girl, the market is crazy. I’m hoping it gets better within two years so I can buy a house, but we’ll see. Also, you should do hair! You could rent a room somewhere and work for yourself, and I’m sure you’d be able to build your clientele super fast because of your skills with rainbow and vivid hair colors!

Ugh I feel you with the housing situation. My friend is a realtor and actually owns a lot of property. He told me that unfortunately the prices will continue to go up. He doesn’t think they’ll go down at all. Even the homes in Texas are expensive now 😢

I work in real estate and I would really recommend buying as soon as possible if you can. If your rate is high, refinance when it drops! You’ll be building equity in the meantime and you’ll be gaining so much more money that way.

I’m in Canada , but it’s the same here. I feel so bad for renters, my husbands cousin is a single dad and currently has a roommate and he wants to be out on his own and I said that for sure I could look online and find him an affordable place and holy good god I couldn’t believe the price of a 2-3 bedroom apartment, actually all apartments are so over priced. We bought our house in 2019 and thank god we did because we got it in a foreclosure for 43,000 dollars and with my in laws owning a contracting company they did a gut job and it’s all brand new, but crazy enough our new property tax assessment came ina. Few weeks ago and damn it’s assessed at over 130,000 now, and we absolutely did not put that kind of money into it. It’s outrageous, so my heart goes out to you and others who are in this situation. I hope you guys find the perfect home.

If you're doing house renovation stuff definitely pixel the windows, street etc so even when someone is hate watching it (whyever someone would do that but it's the internet after all) they can't gather information about you and you stay safe. Also in germany the housing market is absolutely unbelievable as well. We barely found an apartment and alone I couldn't even afford one at all. Best of luck for your house hunting in two years! And I relate so hard to the 'cluttery' working situation that really was inpleasureable during lockdown for me, bc I usually work hospitality and couldn't do that at that time. So I had to reaccomodate and create an at home working routine in a one room appartment which just isn't for me really.

This housing situation is so similar to my position here in australia! We bought land and planned to build a house in 2020, the day before we signed the contract, they reevaluated our land and cut down the size by 23%! So we bailed on that and decided to buy an existing house however the price of existing houses were the same cost as it was to build a new one so we found new land which was smaller than the last one AND more expensive by 53K as land prices have just gone crazy! Our build cost is 100K more too and the interest rates have increased our mortgage by $400 in the last 4 months. If it keeps going, I just don’t know how we’re supposed to live. It’s just so depressing and stressful

Hope your kitty is OK! It's heartbreaking when one of our family members isn't doing the best. I had a cat with kitty diabetes and that was so tough making sure we were home to feed her and give her her vetsulin shots twice a day.

I use Color silk # 05 ultimate blonde its a cheap box dye. I've used this brand for years.
I had blue hair that faded to a green like yours and I just dyed my hair that blond and all the blue is gone.
Also I do have naturally blonde hair and I've never bleached or used any of the extras you do, mostly because I don't know much about them and dont have the money to try them out.
I use punky colour 3 in 1 shampoo conditioner in different colors to dye my hair different colors.
I am looking to try others once I'm able to go and look at what is available.
I like watching your videos to see what others do with coloring and treating their hair and whatnot.

I honestly recommend getting a job when you move to a new place! It’s really easy to make friends at work and when you say you’re new in town people (if they’re nice) will recommend their favorite spots. That’s what I did when I moved and it’s helped me meet people and get socialization because I need that. I work at a gym which is great bc I also get a free membership, the culture tends to be really nice people, and the hours are flexible so 10/10 recommend

I really enjoyed this video! All the talk of moving and the housing market was actually nice 😆 I'm currently packing (slowly) to move our family of 5 out of our tiny 3 bed 2 bath $1800 apartment. The goal is to find a house to rent, but who knows? I just know there's bigger more affordable places our there. I also get the socially isolated thing. I've lived in a new city for almost 2 years and besides the rare phone conversation or my dad coming to visit, I'm home...alone. It gets old QUICK. Maybe try a bleach bath on the blue/green bits and so happy that you found a place and have your own filming place also here in the UK houses are not cheap at all specifically when everything going up and wages just stay they same life is hard especially when you work a lot and nothing to show for it
So one thing about the ion bond additive is it brings your developer down from a 20 to a 10-15 volume. That’s why it didn’t develop as light as it would normally with 20 volume on its own.
Housing is so f***Ed WORLDWIDE. I agree so much... I live in Western Australia and we decided to build during covid. It's been coming up to 2 years and the house is still not done. There was price increases between then. The interest rates went up so much, it went from $500 Aud a week and now our mortgage is over $713 Aud a week and that's for a 4x2 house on a tiny 315 sqm block 😢 so so hard. So I can really relate. I have 2 kids and work full time and childcare alone is $880 (after government subsidy and that's one kid in full time public school and 1 kid in full time daycare) a fortnight aarghhhh.

I love your videos and your personality. Your technique for bleaching your roots is what saved me lots of money. The salons I've been to never get my hair right. I also use the ion bond builder which will decrease the volume of the developer which could be why your hair didn't lift as well, so I've been told. I am not a professional.

Do you watch Bobby hair studios? I use her method for bleaching my roots but I added cotton wall between sections. The k18 mist was a game changer and I love how she levels up her lightener as she goes. My hair is growing back now even thought I'm still doing my roots every 5 weeks.
