    On your Udo Heng tip profiler, which template do you use? What depth settings do you start and end the profiling process? And lastly, do you profile the tip dry, or wet? Thanks for the informative video!

      First, I prefer to wet the reed (1-3 minutes only) and then let it about 10-15' to dry..I think is a better way to profile the tip. Allthough the blade must be sharp enough! I'm using the GR5 template. I have also the GR template for a bit softer cane. And i m always start the profiling process with a larger nummering depth..about ''10-12'', and then slowly go to ''0''. I have also screwed the template is in the middle. I hope it helps!! Thanks for watching!

    How many millimeters are the blade section and tube section of your reed on the gr5 template ? Thanks.

      Hi, thanks for your question! Tube 29mm and Blade 28 or 27,5mm.
